I'd recommend the shrimp combo platter my absolute favorite just ask for extra sauce the rice was a little dry But good. Since China Bowl closed I was trying to find a new place. I heard in the past this place was good but never checked it out. I have to say, reading the reviews I was disappointed. The chicken in my sesame was cooked well but it was too salty especially the pooling of the sauce at the bottom. The rice was nice on top but dry on the bottom and couldn't finish it which never happens. Also, the building just seems dirty inside. It seems more like the place to go if you want to say you had Chinese but I would question those that promote the quality. The search for a new place continues. I will say they got a second star for honesty. I ordered a drink, changed it when I got there and they never took it off so they gave me the cash for it. So if you're looking for an honest place to order Chinese so you can tell your friends you had Chinese for dinner this is your place. I find the prices are just a little bit high and they don't deliver. But their service is extremely quick, the food is always hot and quite tasty. I usually get the dumplings, boneless ribs, or the steamed chicken with vegetables. Their lo mein is also delicious. read more

Bright pink building on the corner, is the first thing you see. Great customer service when ordering and picking up. I would like to give 5 stars but my last order wasn't up to par. I ordered shrimp lo mein with extra shrimp. The shrimps were not fully cooked at all. It seem like they through it in the pot with noodles and sauces for a few seconds. This was my second overall order from this establishment. I was very disappointed. read more

Been here over a dozen times. Since, living on the outskirts of the city I found it hard to look for a "real" ghetto chinese take-out. They're not ghetto, lol.... (The real definition) but good enough that I don't have to drive into the city for my Chinese take-out fix. They do seem to make your food once you get there. That could be a pain. But, then again analog people may complain if their order or food isn't warm enough, hot enough, fresh enough. To Hunan Wok I suggest maybe: -Keeping a log of the regulars. So that you can have their orders ready when they get there? -Practice that with phone numbers that you do not recognize. "Just in case they don't pick up" -call back to confirm the order. Their chicken wings are yummy! Lo mein is great! On the dry side which I like. Rangoon is phenom. The prices are more expensive then other places but it's the convenience of not having to head into the INNER city to grab take out. read more

The food is decent but the lady who takes the orders does not understand English and has resulted in our orders being wrong several times in a row. I ordered thru yelp this time so it was written and it's still wrong. I called to let them know and the language barrier was insanely frustrating. My go-to Chinese delivery place! I've never had an issue with any of my orders and generally use the Eat24 app to place them for here. SO tired of seeing the one star review when I order so I had to show them some love. Sounds like Vivi (the one-star-giver) was probably calling the wrong number - I don't know of many places that hang up on you when you're attempting to give them money, but hey that's just me. ;) Anyway, everything I've ever ordered has been great! I called to place an order and realized there was a language barrier. So, I placed my order online. I ordered an Orange Chicken combination platter, with shrimp fried rice in place of pork fried rice...a pint of shrimp lo mein, and two iced teas. After an hour wait, I called to find out where my delivery was. The woman barely spoke English, told me it was out. I said does it normally take this long for delivery, she said yes. Twenty minutes later I called back, still no food, still no clue what I was talking about. One hour and thirty minutes later and the food came, I asked the driver if it normally takes this long, he shrugged his shoulders, and smiled....I'm guessing he didn't speak English either. My order was wrong, I received pork fried rice instead of shrimp...and it was not good. The orange chicken was average, same for lo mein. I thought their prices were higher than most. This is usually where I order my Chinese from. Delivery is usually fast however I did notice that pick up tends to be slow. They wait for you to arrive before they start cooking your food. Not sure why they do this and it is a bit of a con. Up until recently they have never gotten my order wrong. This past time we ordered shrimp rolls and they sent spring rolls. My favorite item is the Singapore noodles- best in the neighborhood- they're not mushy, or overcooked, they're just right, tasty and with lots of beef, chicken and shrimp. Plus- the amount they give you is GREAT! I can get 4+ meals out of it which more than makes up for the slightly increased price over other local Chinese restaurants. Plus, there's NO MSG! And the food is less greasy than other places too (i always get a bunch of shrimp rolls). AND they make their own spicy mustard- yum! Sometimes they're hard to understand on the phone- that's why i order online :) And it doesn't effect the quality of the food! Orders have always been accurate- and ready fast.
