I was craving some tacos and this place had good reviews on grubhub. I ordered for delivery. They are overpriced on grubhub. I know places increase prices to combat fees but $2.50 for a can seltzer is ridiculous. They forgot my seltzer and I was refunded. I ordered carnitas tacos. They were still warm when they arrived. The pork was shredded and had the crispy bits as it should. The disappointing part was it was bland. Like zero taste, all texture. I was bewildered never had pork that bland in my life. No salt, pepper, garlic nada. The salsa verde was excellent. Nice kick that didn't linger and great jalapeño flavor. I would order again. Probably dine in so I can send it back if it's that bland again. I'm writing it off as a one off. They were prepared to perfectly not to be seasoned.

I absolutely loved it here. It was my first time and it was such a nice place to sit and eat. Fast service. Love the decor. The restaurant was clean, with a calm ambience. The food was delicious. Great temperature. The employee was very patient and understanding.

Found out about this place from a friend who lives in the neighborhood. Took them a few minutes to acknowledge us at the door but okay. Vibes were cool. Good music playing. Place a little empty. Server was good but never got his name. Food was very tasty and fresh. Not a soul was speaking at the table when the food came. Guess that's a good thing. My drink was nice and strong!! Hit the spot. I love this place. I come here anytime I'm in the area. The servers are amazing, the food is delighful and the ambiance is nice. Its great for a date or grabbing drinks with your friends. Prior to COVID they used to have mariachi's that would play but that was a while since ago. I hope that comes back soon.

Went there last night for food and drinks. The food was good but the plates are small. They have nice cocktails though! one thing that I didn't like is that the check came already with the tips included in the total price. So what if I didn't get a good service? Still do I have to pay the amount for tips that they want me to pay? Then, when I paid the check, they gave me the recept to sign and this other one also had some space to add tips ... again? More? I didn't like that. The service wasn't very good, I finished my food but I hadn't finished my drink and the waiter brought the check without even asking if I was done. Then, he clearly saw I wasn't done with my drink and came to ask if the check was ready to pick up, seriously? I wanted to get more drinks but as this guy wanted me to leave so bad, I couldn't have any other... and I just left. And to be clear they weren't closing soon.

This is the best Mexican spot I've been to in this area. I ordered a guava flavored margarita and it was perfect. Mojito was okay it was on the sweeter side but still good. We were a party of 5 and enjoyed our time here. The food was everything you would expect. Burrito was the perfect size, not ridiculously large or too small. The enchilada verde was well balanced and was served with a side of rice and beans. Our server was a sweetheart. She was very friendly and didn't seem to mind me having a few questions. The atmosphere was pretty relaxed with expected Mexican decor and Latin music. If you're craving Mexican and you're in the area this would be the place!

I came across this restaurant with my friend and decided to give it a try. I'm so surprised I haven't tried out this spot yet because it is absolutely delicious. We tried to order as much food as we can to see what was good from here and we ended up enjoying everything. My favorite thing here was actually an appetizer called chicken tacos dorados. I never saw an appetizer like this but I know I'll be craving this very often. Their steak was also seasoned well and they had very very soft flour tortillas. The quesadilla we got was wrapped in a corn tortilla and was slightly crunchier. We really enjoyed my meal here and we left so full. I highly recommend this restaurant!

3 tacos for $10 and you can mix & match the taco combinations! That's the same price(maybe cheaper) than tacos at the taco stand. I loved this place. The restaurant is cute and when the weather is nice they open up the doors and it gives you an outdoorsy feel. The tacos were really good and the portions were great especially for the price. I also had two margaritas that were on point. Happy hour margaritas are just $5!! Only complain I have is that if you're looking for authentic Mexican rice i wouldn't order it from here, and the service sometimes isn't the fastest.

This the receipt where you can see clearly what I stated in my review. They added a 20% gratuity for drinks at the bar!! Outrageous!

This place is a complete rip off. I went for their grand opening with two others because the bartender told me that they had Happy Hour the whole day for their grand opening. The bartender kept insisting for us to get a beer that no one was buying. I told her no that I prefer Modelo, but she kept insisting.I had one too many drinks and paid the bill without noticing all the EXTRAS they added to my bill. I have a habit of taking pictures of the receipts whenever I go to restaurants. Thank God I did that and have proof. The next day when I looked at the receipt, I noticed the following: 1. THEY ADDED A 20% TIP TO A $158 BILL WHICH TOTALED $31.50!!! FOR DRINKS AT THE BAR!!! Since when you charge gratuity for drinks at the bar!! I actually tipped the bartender $20 bc I didn't noticed they charged me gratuity. 2. It seems like they charged me for happy hour prices only up until a certain time. I guess once they noticed that I was a bit intoxicated, they decided to boost the price on our drinks which they shouldn't have because it was their grand opening and they told me they had Happy Hour all day. They charged me $4.50 for a Michelada and then the second time $4(wired). All margaritas were $5 then $9. Beers $4 then $6. Prices were inconsistent throughout my whole bill. I went back to complain and they told me that I would not get a refund for the gratuity that they charged me or the drinks. Today I went back, I asked for a drinks menu and the bartender told me they didn't have one. This is how they get you with the prices. They just price it however they want bc they don't have the prices anywhere. It was about 2 PM and they said that they didn't have happy hour specials today. So I sat down and had 3 Modelos and my cousin had three Coronas. When I asked for my receipt, all of a sudden the bartender said that they had Happy hour coming up. I guess they didn't want their only two customers to leave. When i got my receipt, to my surprise they didn't charge me a gratuity this time. That confirmed that they took advantage of me because of the state that I was in during the grand opening. When I got my receipt I asked why were the prices different previous time that went and she just ignored me and went on to give me my receipt. Bartenders are new and will mess up your drinks. I asked for a Modelo michelada and my cousin asked for a Corona and she gave me a Corona Michelada and gave my cousin a Modelo. How hard is it to mess this up!! C'MON GUYS!!! BEWARE OF THIS PLACE AND YOUR POCKET!! ASK FOR PRICES ON YOUR DRINKS BEFORE ORDERING OR THEY WILL GET YOU!! TAKE A PIC OF YOUR RECEIPT JUST IN CASE!

This place is a gem. Just went for the first time today and had their chicken quesadilla and a guava margarita. They are available for take out but you can briefly eat & drink at their standing tables on the sidewalk. The cashiers were very nice, the quesadilla was surprisingly good, but the marg was perfect! Not too sweet, just enough guava flavor, the lq content wasn't overwhelming and there was no aftertaste. It was so delicious- I will definitely keep coming back until I've tried every flavor on the menu read more

I cannot even believe the experience I just had here. After waiting 2+ hours for my order I went to the restaurant in person to figure out what was going on- they were very busy and I was very patient when they told me to come back in 30 minutes- I come back 30 minutes later and they don't even know where the receipt is for it, after I had to tell her my name 5 times she told me she was gonna have them prepare it then- the woman then proceeded to go into the kitchen and curse about me in Spanish (specifically calling me f*ggot) I felt so disrespected and insulted after still being polite about my order going on it's fourth hellish hour of being god knows where. I did not deserve to be called what she called me in any language. So I went to the bar to speak to the manager, and he A. Did not even acknowledge what just happened and B. Did not want to refund, at which point I told them to cancel my order and that I would never be back again. I am so disgusted as a customer and hurt as a person who doesn't deserve to receive homophobic treatment in public in the year 2020. I hope everyone reads this and knows about my experience before deciding to order here. read more

I happened to walk by this New Tex-Mex place and noticed the Brunch bottomless mimosas and the beautiful bar. Doesn't sound like your typical Mexican joint right?! Well this place is really great! The chefs have experience working in high end places in Manhattan and you can tell from the food they're putting out here. They make a lot of the products in house, like the yogurt and granola and chia seed pudding. It's so good. They are on point with what's trendy but the Mexican flavors are amazing too! The staff are so friendly and very professional. I've been here a couple times and it's constantly delicious. Check this place out for sure! read more

They'll get one star for taste and quality of their food and drinks. However, their hospitality management is lacking. I asked for nachos, they brought out tacos. I explained to the bartender that I wanted nachos not tacos. She came back to tell me the manager is refusing to CORRECT my order. Am I not the patron? Lol should I not be allowed to get what I actually ordered and have to pay for something I didn't want? I have patience but that's not how you run a business at all, I understand she may have mistaken what I said, I said it not once, but twice, nachos not tacos. The manager wouldn't even come and approach me himself in a polite or professional manner. I don't know if this is a case to case thing but be warned. read more

The atmosphere and music was fun. The margarita's are $18 but they are really strong. You only need to drink 1 to feel it. The guacamole and salsa had a nice kick to it. The guac was blended instead of being mashed. Chips were fresh and crispy. The tacos were dry (yes, even the carnitas!) it was disappointing. The green sauce is better than the red sauce. We were charged for drinks we didn't order. They fixed the bill and offered us shots. read more

Currently eating as I am writing review. Indicator this meal was not going to be satisfactory we ordered a smoothie it was watered down when we asked for it to be corrected sugar was added. So we got sugar water. I get this is a mexican restaurant but if you put american dishes in your menu you should be able to cook it. Our party ordered two cheese burgers very dry and buffalo wings extremely salty and dry. Almost forgot to mention the wine tasted watery. Either it is extremely cheap wine or ? So I get the bill of course course what I sent back was charged. Not coming back. read more

Decided to check this place out Cinco de Mayo with a friend. With it still being fairly new, we weren't sure how it was going to be. There was no wait, which was amazing considering it was a holiday! We ordered margaritas, chips & gauc, steak tacos and steak enchiladas and everything was delicious!! Can't recommend the guac enough and the drinks were nice and strong. Definitely family owned business but you can really taste the love they put into their business. I ordered a watermelon mojito and it was so so good - like one of the best I've ever had. Then I ordered guacamole which they made fresh at the table. I thought that was pretty cool and don't see that often anymore. The enchiladas came with a savory salsa verde sauce and side of rice and beans! Everything was cooked to perfection. The owner was also my server! She was amazing (I didn't get her name) but she made my drink and made the guac too! I look forward to treating myself again to dinner here soon.

Or anything else elaborate for that matter. I come here strictly for 3 ground beef crunchy tacos served with lettuce tomato and hot sauce for $8.50. They're like tacobell style but have a hand made quality to them which makes them very unique. I would take away one star but I'm just gonna leave five bc their yelp page needs some love, but it's just sort of annoying that they're cash only in the era of Apple Pay. We also ordered a plate of plain fries that were soo good. The kind that are somewhat thin and all crispy and perfectly salted mmmm. My taco was proper and perfect. They didn't skimp on any ingredients. We were also really impressed with the torta, especially how tasty and fresh the bread tasted. While the service wasn't the best, it seemed like there was only one guy running front of house, and the food made up for it. The ambiance itself was really cute too! The food is salty, low quality, and not even remotely close to the real thing. Yet, when compared to its similarly themed restaurant brethren, it stands out for its abundance, relative affordability, and solid variety. Hard shell tacos are a thing. So is ground beef that strangely is reminiscent of Taco Bell. Portions of the menu are dedicated to Mexican rice toppings, burritos, and quesadillas. Even the fajitas are packed with substantials portions of protein. Minus tacos (#3), most everything is affordable and under $10. Delivery is quick and service is not the warmest, but it's most definitely efficient. There are only a handful of tables for dine-in, so it's best to make this a takeout experience. Oh my lawddddd do not let the pictures fool you. I ordered shrimp fajitas and can honestly say it was the biggest waste of $22 (tax, tip) i've ever spent. It came in a bag that was pouring out liquid, the fajita mixture was swimming in a smokey liquid, the shrimp were really tough, the rice... HOW CAN YOU FUCK UP MEXICAN RICE!? So bland. No seasoning. The first time I went to Hungry Burrito was for happy hour margaritas. They were delicious and the bartender was super sweet, despite the fact that I was sorta rude to her (when I sat down she asked me how I was doing and without thinking I responded by asking what the happy hour special was). My experience at Hungry burrito would be described as "one of a kind" the waiter was genuinely kind hearted and patient on my groups complicated order. So happy I decided to give this place a shot. The food was delicious. I started with the sopecitos mixtos, the pork was my favorite. I then had their chile relleno which was stuffed with shrimp. I devoured it; best chile relleno I've had at a restaurant. My friend had the chamorro, pork shank, which was so tender it slid right off the bone. Everything was beautifully presented as well. I just recently moved to the area and my apartment building is right next to the restaurant.
