    Dubai chocolate cookie
    Brittany B.

Are you even a foodie if you're not interested in indulging in a warm, stuffed cookie on a Saturday afternoon stroll? Blink and you'll miss it, this pocket cookie shop offers a variety of indulgent cookies, stuffed cookies, and a few bottled drinks. I personally found my stuffed cookie portable, but if you disagree, the adjacent building offers a few tables, as well as some additional seating. The young lady behind the counter informed us of their specialities and helped us make our decision - although the ube looked promising, my final decision was the decadent Dubai chocolate, and they nailed it on both flavor and texture. Bonus points for the ability to have your cookie warmed on spot. Would I recommend them to satisfy your sweet tooth? Absolutely. I have every reason to revisit and no reason to complain.

I did a dessert crawl today and Hungry Crumbs was one of the first on my list. The service was friendly and prompt and the shop carried about eight or nine different types of cookies. I picked the Dubai Chocolate and a Chocolate Chip and took them to-go as it's a small bakery and there's no inside or outside seating. Having had a couple different versions of Dubai Chocolate I'd describe it as a chocolate cookie with a small circle of Dubai in the middle which I think could have been much larger. That being said, the chocolate chip flavor was amazing and perfectly balanced. All in all, I enjoyed my cookies and I would definitely come back!

Found this cookie shop staying at a nearby hotel. The first time I stopped by the worker was very friendly and provided recommendations as to which ones she liked the best. I ended up getting the Dubai Chocolate and a regular Chocolate Chip Cookie. The size of the cookie if fairly big and ranges between $6-8 each. I love how the cookie had a crispy edge but was nice and soft in the middle. I had to come back a 2nd time and got the Banana Biscoff and another Dubai Chocolate. Definitely a spot to try if you're craving for something sweet and delicious!

This past Friday I was craving cookies so bad, so I decided to search on Yelp to see what was around me. Initially, I was thinking Insomnia cookies, but I wasn't down for the walk. However, I saw Hungry Crumbs appear first on the list and it caught my attention. I was reading a few reviews they had and when I saw "stuffed cookies," I knew this had to be the place to try. I told my bestie (we both work with each other) that I wanted cookies and there was a place not too far from here that I wanted to try. We ended up just going a few minutes after and was surprised how close this place was to our office. Hungry Crumbs is a smaller shop, but the decor is so cute! I liked the huge LED sign on the window and their logo. When we walked inside, it smelled SO good. It was like a warm hug coming in. We were greeted immediately and we saw the cookies underneath the jar. They had a good variety available, as well as a mini fridge stocked with drinks and coffee. However upon reading some reviews, I knew immediately what I wanted to try. My bestie and I got the following: -2 banana biscoff cookies -1 pecan dulce de leche cookie -1 Dubai chocolate cookie -1 bottled Vietnamese coffee -1 bottled coffee Total came out to be around $41 with tip included. Each cookie was around $6.50-$7.50ish. Drinks - I don't remember since I misplaced my receipt. REVIEW OF EACH FLAVOR: -Banana Biscoff: Holyyyyy THIS WAS SO GOOD. I was not expecting biscoff and banana to work so well together, but they made such a heavenly match. The banana tasted so natural, and the biscoff added such a great sweetness to it. The cookie itself was crispy on the edges but had a soft center. I would recommend warming this up in the microwave for 15-30 seconds - it's pure magic!! This is EASILY my #1 recommendation here 5/5 Dubai Chocolate Cookie: I've had the Dubai chocolate bar that's trending right now, and I'm a fan! I never thought I'd have it in a cookie before, which was delicious! The cookie itself tasted like a soft brownie and the Dubai chocolate filling was so crispy and fresh. I really liked the pistachio filling paired with the chocolate cookie! 4/5 Pecan Dulce de Leche: I got to try a piece of my bestie's cookie and it was good! I got a hint of the dulce de leche and it was sweet. The cookie itself was just as soft and chewy, which I liked. 4/5 I definitely will come back and try more cookies! I'm not too sure how often they rotate their flavors, but I'm coming back for more of the biscoff banana + the lemon curd cookie!!

Run, don't walk, to Hungry Crumbs. While there are many cookie shops around, Hungry Crumbs rises to the top with unique flavors, amazing texture, some of the best cookies on the market today. The owners are very nice and welcoming. You walk in to their cozy, warm shop and, as the the smell of fresh baked cookies wafts up your nostrils, the cares of the world drift away. The owners are also meticulous about offering quality cookies made in small batches using top knotch ingredients. You won't find a better cookie anywhere.

I happened to stumble across this place thru the door dash going out deal and I was completely blown away! By far one the best if not the very best cookies I've ever had! Their stuffed cookies are amazing! I've tried the banana biscoff, pecan dulce de leche, and hot chocolate. The pecan dulce de leche is something you don't want to miss in your life. It is so good that it's absolutely addicting. Mildly Crunchy on outside, and soft on inside. Not overly sweet. Also really enjoyed the banana biscoff and loved how you could distinguish both flavors in the cookie. Didn't care so much for the hot chocolate. I absolutely recommend u try to come at least once, but you'll probably leave wanting to come back again soon!

This place has one of best stuffed cookies! My colleagues and I tried the banana biscoff, ube and pecan dulce de leche. All of the cookies were amazing and worth the calories! My favourite one was banana biscoff although i was a little skeptical about it in the beginning. The gooey biscoff filling with crunchy exterior made it super yumm! Just like the desserts, the people were sweet as well. It seemed like a family owned local business where they have their own recipes for making each cookie.

I'm always hunting for spots like this because I have a weakness for those over-the-top, Instagram-worthy desserts that look like diabetes in a dish. Like most places in this genre, A Buttercup is small, modern, and minimalist with limited seating. If you plan to go, aim for off-hours unless you enjoy waiting in line for sugar. The decor is cute and trendy, perfect for photos if that's part of your dessert ritual. As they say, "you eat with your eyes first," and when it comes to presentation, this place definitely gets an A+. The desserts look stunning and set high expectations. Unfortunately, that's where things started to crumble. It's like going to see your favorite artist live. You've watched the videos, memorized the songs, and paid for the experience. But instead of the electric performance you imagined, you get someone lip-syncing and barely connecting with the crowd. That was this place in dessert form. We ordered the Mango Bingsoo on our first visit, and when it arrived, we were surprised by how small the portion was. The guy next to us even looked over and said, "Whatever that is, I'm getting that next time." He shouldn't have. The Bingsoo looked great but was bland, and the "snow" was more chunky ice than soft shave. The Thai Tea Roti was also not what I expected. It came with Thai tea ice cream and sauce alongside a roti that was fried to a crunch. Interesting idea, just not the best execution. The sauce and ice cream needed a stronger Thai tea flavor to balance the crispy roti, and the flavors never quite came together. Overall, A Buttercup nails the aesthetics but misses the flavor. If you're here for the photos, you'll be happy. If you're here for the taste, you'll leave with a full camera roll and an unsatisfied sweet tooth.

We came for a factory tour, about an hour long. It was fascinating and educational to learn about the craft of chocolates from fruit to beans to the chocolate bar, and to get to chocolate taste along the way. Their work is inspiring-adding minimal ingredients to their chocolate bars so that the flavors of the cacao beans shine naturally from where they originate. After the tour, we tried the hojicha hot chocolate, the celebration cake, and the matcha cookie. For the hojicha hot chocolate, the tea flavor was subtle, but good chocolate. The celebration cake was what we expected-glad it wasn't overly sweet so that cocoa is more pronounced, but it also wasn't too rich; I felt the chocolate here in some sense lacked depth. The matcha cookie was my favorite-a cake texture matcha exterior encasing a denser brownie-like chocolate core - a delicious combo! Last thoughts to prep for the experience if you tour- 1.) Eat before you go on the tour-sampling chocolate means you do get caffeinated, and you'll likely purchase more chocolate (more caffeine!) after :) 2.) Included with the tour is a complimentary chocolate drink of choice at the end, in case you were pondering whether to buy the hot chocolate or not ;) 3.) Dandelion Chocolate products are pricey but quality. Paying the price feels like it's appreciation of their art. If you love chocolate, it's a wonderful place to visit at least once!

So creamy ice cream this the name Garden Creamery. LOL…read more Although there was a line, it went by okay, no rush. Everyone in line was polite with their friends. Plus, I Needed time to narrow down what 2 flavors I wanted. I was happy to be finally in the area and it was open! I haven't been back since the pandemic. They open late in the day and I am not here at those times until my event at the rooftop restaurant was about a block and half away on a sunny Sunday afternoon. I found the line to be wrapped around the store in the corner. Ice cream still tastes creamy and unique flavors are lovely. With two sold out flavors I decided to go with matcha Oreo and classic Vanilla Lilikoi which is Tahitian Vanilla with passion fruit which was the best flavor (most popular one - just look at the tub as most people ordered it. I would normally order the ice cream in a cup to get a better ratio of ice cream. But I decided I hadn't had a cake cone in years, so I went for that cone. It was like going back to my childhood eating ice cream with my parents. Yup this place still lives up to its name as ice cream is creamy and unique bold flavors are the draw as they make their own flavors and use fresh ingredients with 100% grass-fed, organic dairy from local Petaluma family farms. They also make a super creamy line of coconut-based vegan sorbet - sweetened with agave nectar, for a non-dairy alternative. Their tea are from Japan and Asian countries which is why the matcha ice cream tastes good. They also l pasteurize their bases. Then they slow churn each flavor with virtually no incorporation of air which creates the smooth textures and authentic flavors of the regions. Ice cream was yummy in my tummy and it gives me an excuse to hang out more down in this area for great ice creams The Mission has a number of excellent ice cream, all different in their own ways. In the old days they used to have Chimney Cone in 2017 but I never had a chance to try it. I am sure it tasted good, but it must have been labor intensive and they are a small shop. But their main selling point is focusing on the ice cream unique flavors that rotate.
