I have been ordering pizza from this location for years. What makes it a maybe is it literally runs hot and cold. It's like rolling the dice. Sometimes you get a good pizza and other times not so much. I can tell if my pizza is gonna be good when I drive up and see who's working. This place has a high turnover and it shows in the employees attitude towards their job and customer service. Maybe implement some quality control and a better training program. Literally they closed an hr. early and didn't refund our money. Called and said we will refund your money and 7 days passes no refund. Ordered again rolling that dice and get called saying no drivers, cool I'll pick it up, and guess what I still had to pay for my tip and drivers fee because you couldn't find a supervisor in 2 weeks. Moving to south-eastern Alabama was difficult enough just with the bugs, heat, and humidity, but I was seriously under-prepared for the lack of decent food here. So I'm being generous by giving Hungry Howie's three stars. Going inside makes me feel like scrubbing my entire body with bleach, but the hubby and I have a sort of aversion to the laziness of delivery and drive-thru (which this location has). It isn't that it's that dirty, but it just has that stale, sticky, greasy feeling that absorbs into your clothes when you walk in that's typical of most fast-food places. The pizza is cheap and edible and can be ordered with a variety of flavored crusts (the garlic is unimpressive and the Cajun is ok). I've never eaten anything else here, but apparently they also have calzones, salads, wings, and something called a Howie Roll. The staff has always been pleasant. There is absolutely nothing remarkable about this place, but it's probably perfect for most of the Fort Rucker/Enterprise community. read more

I ordered a pizza on my lunch break and when I got there one of the girls accidentally gave it to someone else so instead of calling me and saving me some gas, she gets another one of her co-workers to tell me the bad news once I try to pick it up. He didn't even offer to make me another pizza. Don't waste your time. It needs better staff members that actually care about service. read more

I'm not sure what pizza places deliver to Fort Rucker, but this is one of them. We've picked up once, and had it delivered once. The ordering process is always pretty easy, and the one time we had it delivered, it was right on time. It was nice and hot, and the delivery driver was presentable. The pizza is really good. They add flavoring to the crust. It was well made with a nice proportion of sauce, cheese, and toppings. Their cheese bread, and wings were also delicious. DONT ORDER FROM THIS LOCATION!!!! If I could give zero stars I would!!! We have been faithful hungry Howies customers and time and time again they have done us wrong! We've got cold pizzas delivered to our house multiple times! They've gotten our order wrong multiple times! We've gotten bad customer service multiple times but... I gave them chance after chance. I ordered our daughters birthday party pizzas from them and they TOTALLY screwed us!!! We were embarrassed to serve our guests the pizzas they provided AND perhaps more importantly when we contacted the store about it the OWNER yelled at me and argued for 30+ min! I explained to her problem and she continued to argue. I was willing to take a 1/2 refund OR pizza on the house. I was willing to work with her. Nothing. She was the rudest person I've ever talked to on the phone and I question who hungry Howies allows to run their stores??? If I could leave 0 stars I would. The kid who took my order seemed distracted and was quite rude...on top of that he kept saying there were "issues with the computer". I finally got my pizza ordered and then 2 HOURS later it never showed up...I finally got through to someone on the phone and he said they were closed. I explained my situation and all he could say was that "it wasn't showing up in the computer system". I asked to speak to the manager and he said he was. I have NEVER EVER met a manager with such terrible customer interaction. He can keep his pizza and his crap attitude- I strongly suggest somewhere else for dinner, this place can't even deliver a pizza! read more
