This is the closest Hungry Howie's to my parents' house, I think we've ordered takeout a few times, including tonight. My dad received a BOGO large pizza offer from HH via email. We got two large mushroom pizzas - one with Asiago and butter cheese crust, another with garlic and butter cheese crust. Both were good although I felt like there could've been more mushrooms. My mom said that recently, the actual store part was closed to customers and they were only doing curbside pickup. Today the store was open so you can either do curbside or go inside to get your order. HH usually does a pretty good pizza and I like their crust options a lot too. They're expensive ($12-13 for a 1-topping pizza) but often have coupons or deals. read more

Quite disappointed with the quality/quantity. Asked for an Asiago bread with garlic, got no garlic and probably like 3 shreds of Asiago on each piece of bread. This Hungry Howie's is legit. It's all you'd expect, if not more. This location is super fast, and everything I've gotten from here is good. I'm a Maui type of girl (ham, bacon, pineapple) with stuffed crust, and butter flavored crust. Can't complain. read more

This store is 17 miles away from my home while there is another hungry howies store only 2 miles away from my home. Let me tell you, the people who made the pizza at the walled lake store have saved my opinion about hungry howies pizza being a top player. The pizza was made perfect and not burnt. Plenty of toppings covering each slice. The store that is 2 miles away from me is not that great that I even tossed away a free pizza coupon. I have to be honest and say that the pizza itself for Hungry Howies has gone down hill over the past 5 years. But I give this location top marks because I have never had a bad experience with the staff - they are always cool and friendly. They offered me a free drink when they were having a day I had to wait longer, without me asking. I usually go with a Greek salad and three cheese Howie bread over a pizza, but that is my thing. Sure some people are saying, why you going there if you don't think the pizzas that great. When you are getting pizza for multiple people, most are sick of Jets, I won't go to Pizza Hut and love my Howie bread. I let the friend eat the pizza. read more

I mean, if you want us to rate you as the signs ask for, you should probably have adequate staff to handle all the orders you'll get on a Saturday during a big game. I looked at the coupons and specials before I came into the store. When I asked the short blonde girl at the counter if there were any specials or coupons, promotions with a stoic face she said, "Nope!". So I went a mile down the road and got Happy's Pizza instead. This Hungry Howie's is going downhill. The prices were always a little higher than other HH chains, but at least they used to get the orders correct. 1-1-2016 I ordered online and called one pizza in. I ordered two Howie's rolls (selected 1 sauce for each as included), Asiago bread sticks (selected a sauce as included), and a medium pizza (cooked well done w extra pizza sauce) all online. I also ordered a pizza over the phone cooked well done with extra pizza sauce. When we arrived home from picking up, we noticed that none of the 3 sauces were included, and neither of the pizzas were cooked well done nor did they have extra pizza sauce. I called to mention the sauces and s young kid responded, "oh you picked up your order, then you should've just grabbed your sauces while you were here." When I pick up from other locations they attach the sauces to the boxes or if I don't they mention that my order includes 3 sauces. I didn't bother to call back about the pizzas not being made as ordered as when I called about the sauces there was no concern about it. I will be calling another to speak to a manager next time if there is one. read more

I do love their pizza's especially with the sesame crust. Generally I always pick up and the pizza is always ready when they say it will be.

This is definitely the worst HH I have been to. The pizza lacked flavor and was cold. The howie bread was dry and burnt. Very disappointing.

When my delivery order didn't arrive I called back and was advised I never placed an order. Yet when I placed the order they answered with my name and knew my address. No apology and rude. Manager didn't seem to care that my order was lost. All they had to say is 'we're sorry' instead of telling me I was wrong. Will never order from this location again. read more

My husband and I tried to order from the Wixom Hungry Howies, however, they left us on hold for almost 10min. Soooooo, we figured we would try this one. MISTAKE!!!! My husband repeated our order 3 times to the kid on the phone. The kid FINALLY repeated it back right after the 3rd time. We get there and my pizza didn't have mushrooms (which were ordered). The guy behind the counter (who claims he is the manager) told my husband "well we can either give you the pizza free or you can wait and we'll get mushrooms on it". My husband comes back out to the car to explain the issue and i told him just forget it, just take the pizza as is so we can go home. At this point it is 830pm. My husband goes back in and the manager immediately says "ill go ahead and put mushrooms on it and it won't take long". After about 10min he comes back out with our order. I didn't think to look at it because I figured my God by now it has GOT to be right. Well it was right, however, the MANAGER cut the mushrooms and just threw them on the pizza. They were cold and raw when I got home!!! We called back up there and when my husband called him out on it he had nothing to say. Absolutely nothing! He claims he is calling the Hungry Howies in Wixom to have a free pizza and delivery for us. I doubt ill use it. Don't trust they can even cook my food! read more

Hungry Howie's is always a good choice. This location has really gotten great. It was'nt very good a couple of years ago. The crust would be burnt or the "Nowies" would be in a little bitties (10 minutes). I didn't give up on them and Im glad I didn't. They are as good or better than any other location now. Good stuff.
