Went with the Hawaii pie. It was pretty good! Well baked n i added the cinnamon swirls breadsticks. That? That was a freaking mazing! I love that its pan pizza dough! Over saturated with sugar n cinnamon. I'd order this again. I loved the dessert bread sticks more. I think the pizza was good, topping were perfect but i gotta say i ate the hell outa it n was left wanting more. Usually i get stuffed n im out for another day. Ordered wings with our pizza. Pizza is less than par. The wings were listed as Chicken Wings, but what we got was so small that they were more likely Pigeon Wings..... And not very tasty. Talk about "Shrink-flation". Smaller, but not cheaper. read more

No Customer Service: I ordered (5) Deluxe subs at the Valrico store in Florida. To my surprise when I got home there was no lettuce, tomato, or peppers to go with the sub (as always provided before). It was odd because the server specifically asked about it and we said yes. So, I called to inform the store that I was not pleased and that I did not get what I asked for and paid for. The manager did not understand customer service at all. First she attempted to blame me; "Did you order online", "Did you make multiple orders"? (We ordered at Drive Thru - They took the order at the window - Their Error)....Then she said their store was different from every other Hungry Howie's in Tampa that we have visited: she said "You have to specifically ask for the Sub items to get them?" On a Sub???? I said we did! (Note there is no written notification on the website, or signage at the store that states this!) She then started blaming the order taker by saying "She put, that you did not want it!" Again, we did! (WHAT DOES ANY OF THAT HAVE TO DO WITH "CORRECTING" THE OBVIOUS ERROR FOR THE CUSTOMER?) So, while I expect some kind of apology, restitution, maybe even discount on my next order after spending nearly $50 and not getting what I wanted. She never even attempted to make (1) offer or take corrective measure..."Service the Customer!" Who wants to hear excuses when you have spent your money, and do not receive what you want or expect? We will never return to that store!!! We are a large family and a $45 plus customer on nearly every order! We order from here often and the food is typically great there has been a time or two that Ive ordered my pizza a certain way and ot wasnt made that way which is why it gets 4 stars but over all I recommend their pizzas , the subs are amazing and their wings are always great. Have been using the valrico location for probably close to thirty years. However, we were recently told when we called in our carry out order that we would have to pay over the phone by credit card. When we told them no we would like to pay cash when we arrived, we were told that wasn't allowed anymore we would have to pay on the phone. Then today my daughter was told she could not pay cash for a delivery order because of the address location. What! I dont think anyone (Howie included) would argue that HH pizza is even remotely gourmet. That said, I have never had a single order from this place to come out sub par. They are very close to my house and I use them all the time. They say "give us 15 minutes", but I usually call in my pick up order walking out of my house to my car and its hot and ready before I can finish paying. For the $5 lg pepp/chz its absolutely the best bang for your pizza buck out there. That little "hot-n-ready" guy with that little spear of his should hang his head in shame. And honestly these days, you cant go buy a bottom shelf frozen pizza for less than that, AND THEN YOU HAVE TO TAKE IT HOME AND COOK IT FOR 25 MINUTES. Go for the butter cheese crust, or if your feeling a little zesty I highly recommend the cajun crust.
