Love going to this place. Go at least once a week or once every two weeks. I've had their fried fish, grilled fish, hamburger steak, fried pork chop, grilled pork chop and a bunch of their different sides. The employees are amazing and make sure you are well taken care of. read more

I have been eating at Hungry Hut for a very long time. I can remember eating there in Elementary school and I am 43 years old now! It's the BEST!! Nice, clean establishment! This was my second visit here. The cashier was friendly and attentive, which is always appreciated, of course. I ordered the Monday special, a meatloaf, with fried okra and fried pickles as my sides, a piece of Texas toast, and sweet tea to drink. The tea wasn't exactly as sweet as I prefer but the flavor makes up for it. The waitress brought us our drinks, and eventually our plates. Our food came quickly, and it was hot and fresh. Everything was absolutely delicious. The meatloaf was so flavorful and had just the right amount of sauce on it. I've never had fried pickles before, but I was really surprised at how good they were! They offered me a cup of ranch dressing to dip it in, and that made it even better. They were nice and crispy, like the okra, just how I like it. The Texas toast was also how it should be, and it wasn't overly burnt. I will absolutely be coming here more in the future. I definitely recommend trying this place out. It seems like its always the local places that do it best. read more

And the food is amazing I love their burgers the best in Gadsden but what really keeps me coming back is the peanut butter pie. It's the best I've ever had I can't leave there without getting some.
