My wife and I got their 2 BBQ Sandwich specials, and it was okay, but not worth the money we spent. We wanted slaw on our sandwiches, and they charged us for two sides and put very little slaw on our sandwiches. They had the BBQ sauce all over the bun, and wrapper, which was everywhere. The Crinkle Fries were mushy, I wanted the Fried Green Tomatoes, but they did not have any. For almost $40, It should have been the best samich around, but it wasn't even close. read more

Very pleasant surprise! Really there are only a few things that bring this down a star. As far as friendly staff and amazing quality of smoky bbq it's going to be hard to beat the offerings they have. We had an order of the open face pork bbq sandwich with a baked potato (fully loaded) on the side. The pork came out piled high, and relatively fat free. Great flavor with or without adding bbq. Same with the potato, a very generous portion of pork heaped high on top. So, here is where part of the minus a star comes from. Both dishes were pork, because they were out of rib tips, and when we tried to order nachos, which were on the menu, we were told they were a special events only dish. We would have liked to have tried something else, but I guess we can do that next time. The only other addition to the downgrade is the fact that the restrooms were not kept supplied and after asking, nobody went out to take care of that for us. But, even so, they had great food and we would return to hopefully be able to try the rib tips next time. read more

09/16/2024 Save your money, NOT good BBQ. Wife had pulled pork sandwich and fries, her comment " I've had better " I ordered a rib plate with beans and coleslaw, I've never had coleslaw so thin that it could have been sucked thorough a straw... the beans were good but a small serving. The ribs.... 4 of them were the the worst I've ever had the displeasure of tasting. I m a Kansas City BBQ Certified Judge, we judge on Appearance, Taste, and Tenderness.... these ribs failed on all three categories. They looked like the closest they were exposed to smoke was about 30 miles away and really appeared like they were cooked in an oven with no rub on them whatsoever., which then brings me to the taste.... There was none. A bottle of sauce was on the table so I decided to see if that would help, but it was like red water and ran off faster than I could put it on. Lastly Tenderness ranged from mush to tough. Sorry it was just not a good experience... will not go back. I will say the dining room was clean and bright, but at 11:30 lunchtime we were the only diners, that should have told me something read more

I've been here twice over the past year and have enjoyed it both times! Earlier today I went in with my grandfather and I got a 4-piece rib bone plate with fried okra and fried pickles, with Texas toast and a Hi-C Fruit Punch/Mello Yello mixed soda to go with it. We were the only two people dining beside a couple of others, and our food arrived about 15 minutes after placing it. Everything was fresh and flavorful, and the ribs were superb, tender, and tasty. I drizzled a little bit of their sauce from a squeeze bottle on the ribs and it was tangy and a little bit sweet. I recommend putting plenty of that sauce on the ribs to maximize its overall flavor. The fried okra and fried pickles were a little heavy on the batter but were tolerable. Our waitress had a good attitude, and I'll likely be back in the future. read more

So people had told us for a while that we needed to try what is now called rib bones restaurant. So on our way back into town we stopped by and placed an order to go. Chicken is dry, barbecue sauce taste like ketchup the nastiest bar-b-q I have ever had.
