I'd truly like to give Jeremiah 5 stars but unfortunately, I cannot. On November 25th I contacted Jeremiah via text to come take a look at my husband's car. He had nice reviews on the NextDoor App. An appointment was made for Wednesday 11/27. It was actually nice to meet him. He checked my husband's car, told us what the problem was, gave us suggestions for repairing it because it was rather simple and we paid the diagnostic fee. He even took a look at my car, read the engine codes and told me what parts were needed for my car. I asked him to do the repairs for my car and he said he would send an estimate - never received. My hubby's car malfunctioned again after Jeremiah's initial diagnosis. We called him again, he came out made suggestions, collected the diagnostic fee again and left. We had to take my hubby's car to another mechanic to diagnose the issue because the check engine light came on again. In the meantime, I purchased the 3 parts (actually 4- a thermostat, MAP sensor, engine oil level sensor, & EGR valve) Jeremiah suggested for my car. We paid almost $500 for these parts. He even suggested the brands and was nice enough to text me a couple times with more information about buying the parts. I asked him a second time via text for the estimate- no response. I waited a week - no response. I sent my final text asking for an estimate to get my car repaired on 12/27...NO RESPONSE. How can business owners NOT respond to clients? To answer my own question- very easily it seems. It's certainly rude and more so counterintuitive. Simply respond to the client and decline to do the job for what ever the reason. He left us hanging but he did collect the there $45 diagnostic fees. How sad! :-((( read more
