Since I'm new to the area, I decided to check it out to see what Rachetside has to offer. The artist lot is pretty small. The vendors at the lot weren't that interesting when I visited. I do appreciate the opportunity to tour several local museums for free though. I enjoyed the metropolitan museum of art and the RAM. Both are very small but offer a few interesting exhibits. Walking around the life arts center was deff the highlight of the night. It was such a cool historic art space for local artists. They also have live music on the balcony, how nice. Actually there was live music in downtown through out the event and quite a few local businesses including bars and restaurants participate in and offer discounts and specials for the art walk. Overall, it is well organized and got a good vibe. I'd say it's worth doing at least once. It was deff nice to see downtown Rachetside getting artistic and lively for a change!!

One example is that she got to walk her horse--Mama Rose--back to the red "barn" all by herself once she had completed her session! She's 6! From the moment we entered the facility we were NEVER greeted, felt very unwelcomed. The trainers looked at us like they didnt even want us there if i am being very honest.... however, the non-refundable lessons were already purchased for my son and he insisted to have and complete them....which he did...as young boy, who spends most of his time introverted, he was immediately drawned to his horse"Josie" and insisted to continue with more lessons. So ofcourse threw jitted teeth I called back to schedule 1 months worth of lessons that they have advertised in their bathroom at the facility for $170 for the month...mind you the lady at the office also told us its $160 for 4 lessons....after 2 weeks of waiting to hear back from the facility to schedule more lessons, they finally decided on the 3rd week that they are able to book him for the following week...not the case as they actually were going out on vacation and decided to let me know week of his supposed lesson... Following week (end of july) they get back to me to schedule but asked if we can delay again to begin first week of August. Which I obliged.....Also they mentioned the price for lessons were $190 now!!!!!! Again I obliged and provided payment. Each delay has crushed my sons heart , mind you, as he just wants to have another lesson..... now today early morning I receive a text to let me know they had scheduling errors on their end and will provide lessons starting 2nd week of August....when I shared that these delays hurt my son and if they are able to provide ANY favor of good faith or compensation for their scheduling errors, they said I can go find another facility.....

They said a parent is threatening to sue them because my son allegedly trapped their child under a chair. The owner never found any video footage of this supposed incident, and my son does not have a history of this type of behavior. I didn't want to push for my son to stay in this summer program though if there is such a lack of adult supervision that they would even be unsure of the children's whereabouts during the hours in their care. The children are in a small space throughout the day during the summer program, and if there is no adult witness that can say with surety that an event did or did not occur, they are not actively supervising these children effectively

The entry to the venue are between JCPenney and Macys parking lot area. When you enter the doors, you walk down the set of stairs to enter the play area. Prices are listed and easy to follow for everything they offer. They have a worker there to assist with payment for whatever you decide. Arcade game cards are purchased at a kiosk. Mini golf prices are reasonable per person. Escape rooms are for 6th & up based on information I was provided when I last went Saturday since my kids wanted to do it and we needed to know what ages were allowed for their rooms. (Our kids are 2nd & 4th grade so we weren't able to do it) There are 27 holes for the mini golf. Each course is short but fun for small kids and themed differently. Only downsize is that if there's a huge group ahead of you, it takes a while to wait there for them to finish before you can head onto that course. So that's the only negative of each course when it's busy even though we went as slow as possible and played the same course multiple times while waiting for the group ahead of us to finish. There's only so much you can do while waiting before another group comes up behind yours. The arcade is small but they have some fun games. The kids had fun playing them. Pricing is a bit high & credits needed to play the games are kind of high as well compared to other arcade places but the games allow tickets to be won so it was worth it for us since kids had fun.
