Called on Saturday, 5/23/26, to schedule an appointment to view a 2024 Lincoln Nautilus on Monday, 5/25/26. I even called ahead on the day of the appointment to let them know I was running late. When we arrived, the vehicle was not on-site. We then waited approximately 36 minutes for it to be brought over so we could look at it. When it finally arrived, it had an "As Is" sticker on it, and we were informed that the battery was dead. The staff had to jump-start the vehicle, but we were told we could not test drive it because of the battery issue. Once inside, we found that the A/C vents would not blow air through the dash. Considering this was a scheduled appointment and the dealership had two full days to prepare the vehicle, it was clear that little to no effort had been made to ensure it was ready for a prospective buyer. What was most disappointing was the complete lack of concern from the staff. We were prepared to purchase a $49,000 vehicle that day if it met our expectations. Instead, we were shown a vehicle in poor condition, unable to test drive it, and no one seemed interested in earning our business. Even though the dealership had two other Nautilus vehicles in inventory, no one offered to show us an alternative. We left feeling that our time was not valued and that the dealership simply did not care whether they earned our business or not. A very disappointing experience. read more

I purchased a used 2023 Ford F150 Lightning from Huntley Ford and strongly recommend that anyone considering purchasing a vehicle here carefully compare the advertised price with every number in the final paperwork. The exact vehicle I purchased was advertised for $43,881. I have the advertisement showing the vehicle, mileage, dealership, and price. My Retail Installment Contract, which {{I}} don't have evidence of signing, however, lists a Cash Price of $55,844.06. That is $11,963.06 more than the advertised price. The contract also separately lists a $3,000 service contract, $416 in license/title/registration fees, a $377.63 documentary fee, and a $35 optional ERT fee. I contacted Huntley Ford and requested an explanation and documentation showing how the advertised $43,881 price became a $55,844.06 cash price. I have not received a satisfactory response or an itemized explanation. I have retained the advertisement and my complete purchase and financing documents and am now submitting the matter to the appropriate consumer protection and regulatory organizations. I am sharing my experience so other buyers know to focus on the actual selling price in the paperwork, not just the monthly payment, and to compare it directly against the advertised price before signing. read more

Complete scumbag dealer. Want to get a price over the phone on a car, wont do it, I must be there in person. When I go there in person they try and add $4k in extras on the price that are not negotiable (this is illegal according to the FTC). The price online that says "all dealer fees included" is a lie and They are not to be trusted. Go spend more money somewhere else, these people are not interested in building any relationship at all and just want to scam each person who walks in the door. Their extra fees were $500 for VIN Etching, $500 for nitrogen in tires (which wasn't done) and then $3,000 for servicing the vehicle to get ready for sale. I want to share our recent experience with Huntley Ford so that others can make an informed decision before doing business with this dealership. My son, who serves in the military, visited Huntley Ford two days before deploying overseas. He initially went in to take advantage of an employee pricing promotion and potentially trade in his vehicle. While he did not find a new vehicle that interested him, he did find a used Ford F-150 that he really liked. Before leaving, my son explained to the salesperson that he was deploying and asked whether there would be any issue if I completed the purchase on his behalf while he was overseas. He was specifically told that it would not be a problem as long as I had a valid Power of Attorney. This was reassuring because my son has deployed multiple times, and we have successfully used Power of Attorney documents to purchase vehicles from other dealerships without any issues. On the day he deployed, my son asked me to purchase the truck for him because he wanted it waiting in our driveway when he returned home in approximately six months. I went to the dealership and negotiated the transaction, including the trade-in value and warranty. During the process, I noticed the dealership attempted to add thousands of dollars in additional charges to the advertised online price of the truck, including what were described as shipping, inspection, and setup fees. After some discussion, I was able to have those charges removed. At that time, I did not have the Power of Attorney paperwork or my son's title with me. I was instructed to go home, email the Power of Attorney documents, and complete the credit application online. I did exactly as requested immediately after leaving the dealership. After hearing nothing back for some time, I called for an update. The finance manager informed me that they would not accept the Power of Attorney, despite it being a properly executed and notarized legal document that we have successfully used numerous times over the years. The dealership had also personally met my son before his deployment. During this conversation, the finance manager's attitude changed significantly. He informed me that the deal was canceled and stated that he would notify all parties involved. The conversation was disappointing, and I felt I was being spoken down to rather than treated with respect. Wanting to discuss the situation, I visited the dealership and requested to speak with the General Manager. I was told he was unavailable. I returned the following day and again was told he could not speak with me. I also left messages requesting return phone calls that were never returned. Eventually, I spoke with an individual I was told was second in command, whom I believe was James Nash. To his credit, he listened to my concerns. However, no effort was made to find a solution, explore alternatives, or make calls to see whether the transaction could still be completed. The conversation ended without any meaningful attempt to help. What disappointed me most was not that a problem arose, but how it was handled. Our family was simply trying to assist a deployed service member. In the past, other dealerships have gone above and beyond to work with military families and accommodate Power of Attorney transactions. Unfortunately, that was not our experience at Huntley Ford. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this dealership. I visited Huntley Ford to purchase a used vehicle that was advertised at $34,997. During the sales process, the out-the-door price increased to approximately $54,000 after numerous added fees, which I found unreasonable and misleading. The added charges included: * $4,000 for "transport/service" * $1,000 for VIN etching, which I did not request * Approximately $9,000 for extended warranty coverage, Aglaze, and a multi-card program, all of which were added to the sale price without my consent or prior discussion I have never experienced a dealership that includes extended warranties and protection plans in the initial price without first consulting the buyer. While these items were later explained and I was told they could be removed, it felt like a tactic designed to see whether a customer would notice the added costs. This raised serious concerns about transparency and felt similar to a bait-and-switch practice. After I questioned the charges, some add-ons were removed and the price was reduced to $40,000. However, this amount still seemed inflated. I ultimately decided to walk away from the deal. I later spoke with a friend who works at another dealership in the same county. Based on local tax, title, and standard fees, a $35,000 vehicle should total approximately $38,000 out the door, not $40,000 or more. This indicated that Huntley Ford was still including roughly $2,000 in unexplained fees, which they refused to remove. The following day, the advertised price of the same vehicle was increased to $36,997, nearly identical to the amount they would not remove during negotiations. Overall, I believe Huntley Ford failed to honor the advertised price and lacked transparency regarding fees. I am submitting this complaint for you to be aware of these pricing practices and to caution future consumers to carefully review all charges before proceeding. read more

Lessons learned the hard way- Get the final numbers in writing Don't accept verbal on anything important like warranty information For used cars get a third party inspection The warranty starts from the original date of service regardless of what they tell you- anything other than that is probably a lie And last but not least- if the salesperson says he's the most honest salesman- get up and walk out the door immediately. The way this dealership sells cars is by posting a 'great' price, then making you come in person to work out a deal. Only when you waste your time driving there, they will expect you to pay a couple thousand more at least, while also selling you the other warranty and protection garbage that they act like you need. They basically kicked me out when I asked for a price close to the one THEY POSTED, seeming to get childishly insulted or something. Suddenly they didn't want to work out a deal until the vehicle was there, because it was in transit at the time. Except I was specifically there to do just that because THEY TOLD ME to come in. They already knew the situation and were fully willing to work out a deal, that's why they posted it online to begin with! But when I ask for a number they thought was right posting online, apparently they can't work on it anymore? They were also being weird by asking for my credit or debit card, saying they 'need to know if i'm a real buyer'. Very suspicious and very concerning that they think it's okay to ask for that when I have not purchased anything yet, especially when I wouldn't even have been using a card to buy it. After I left, at least 2 other salesman called me to make a deal despite the fact that the vehicle still wasn't there, so Jordan Fridley for sure lied to me about the reason he couldn't work a deal out with me. One of those salesman couldn't even be bothered to say my name correctly or pay any attention to what I was saying because they were mid-conversation with someone else. Didn't apologize for butchering my name or anything, had absolutely 0 respect for the customer they were trying to sell to. My advice is to, at the very least, not go in person to the dealership. It is unreasonable to expect people to come in person when everything can be discussed over the phone, at least when the car isn't even actually there yet. Aweful experience. Looked at a car Thursday night. Agreed on price. Started paperwork. Went to finalize and buy on Monday, they raised the car by $1k and said it's the markets fault. Car value went up that much in 3 days. When they heard wasn't going to finance with them, they were really rude. Asked to speak to a manager and they literally said no. I called and spoke to two separate "sales" staff and a finance contact who said I would need to fly in (mind you over 1,000 miles) and sit down to do the deal. i'm in the process of purchasing a new car a Ford F150 I had already gone to Carmax and found one that was about $50,000. After trade-in and everything a final price of 40,000 only add-on was taxes and license there was about $2500.. I continue to look for another and I found one at the Huntley Ford in Huntley Illinois. The was listed for sale for 40,000 but had more miles on it than the one I was looking at Carmax. As I drove to dealership, I asked Siri for directions to the Huntley Ford dealership. It gave me directions,But it also said that the dealership had a 1.5 rating on yelp .right off the bat that raised red flags. I arrived at the dealership and right off the bat before I could even walk in the front door. Someone approached me and introduced himself. That was fine, but I don't necessarily like that ,then I walked in and all the sales people are standing at that front desk. Which I really didn't like because its like they were about to swarm me. A test drove the car, but the first thing I noticed was the car had more miles on it than was advertised. It was a couple of thousand more and just told me that somebody might've been driving it. I decided to proceed with the car purchase. the appraisel on my car was about $5000 less than Carmax was gonna give me. wWhile I was waiting for the appraisal I got back on the Internet to check reviews. The red flags that people were putting out on yelp reviews ,became my nightmare., When I did get the final numbers. The final balance came out to 40,000 something with my trade in. I started looking at the breakdown of cost and they had taxes and license and then they had another $3000 for service /something and I don't know what it was. Then they had $995 for something that was basically air in your tires. I couldn't believe it. basically had $8000 in up charges minus let's say 2500 actual taxes and license. I wasn't happy with the final price at that point so I negotiated a bit to get them to take all that crap off. It wasn't until I really started getting pissed that they dropped the price down to 33 800. This was after me making a scene. The final straw was they would not let me pay with a check and I was gonna have to finance it .They recommended financing it and then paying it off and I had four months that I had to hang onto the loan. But at this I didn't trust anything they did and I didn't feel like I had the time to read an agreement that who knew what was in it .I couldn't trust anything they were doing there. I questioned everything so I walked out the door. Read the reviews on yelp they were spot on not a good operation. There was an older couple in there, and I could imagine that they were getting taken to the cleaners. I'm going back to Carmax for $6000 more. Unless you like BAIT & SWITCH tactics & FALSE ADVERTISEMENT: they lure you in with a "great price" and when you agreed to pay the price advertised, they come back with an out-the-door price $15,500 more!! A $46,444 vehicle is now over $62,000. How can that be possible, you might ask? Made up FEES! Tax, title, license (as expected-but was not adjusted to my state tax rate), document fee, and an approximately $5,000 " accessory package" that they " always add", an approximately $4,000 "transport/service" fee, an approximately $1,000 Vin etching/nitrogen tire fee, etc. these FEES are NOT NORMAL. Their business practices should be illegal! It looks like the financing practices are also shady noted for things like not accepting cash, refusing to let people use their financial institutions preapproved offers, forcing you to finance through them so that they get a commission kickback. Keep in mind this is not special financing which would be normal for new vehicles.. not used vehicles. The rates are awful for people with good credit, 2-3% points higher than other banks! I can only imagine that the people actually buying cars here are the ones that have no clue how this process should work. Take all the other low reviews into consideration and GO ELSEWHERE! TITLE: DISAPPOINTMENT OF A 16 YEAR OLD On Friday, March 6 at approximately 4:30 p.m., my wife, son, and I entered Huntley Ford. As we walked in, we passed five salespeople who were looking at their phones and did not acknowledge or greet us. I commented to my son in the vestibule that those individuals had just lost the opportunity for two vehicle sales. Shortly after, a salesperson named Joseph Basile approached us and introduced himself. Nice guy. We informed him that we wanted to view a 2020 Ford Edge Titanium advertised online for $13,222 for my son, and that my wife was also interested in potentially looking at a Lincoln Nautilus or Cadillac SUV. After test driving the Ford Edge, we began discussing price. We were initially presented with an out-the-door price of $17,800 including taxes and additional coverage. I declined and offered $14,500 via cashier's check. After speaking with his manager, Joseph returned with a counteroffer of $15,400. I then countered with $15,000. Joseph again consulted with his manager and returned agreeing to that amount at 7:30pm. We shook hands and I initialed the offer. That evening Joseph messaged me asking that we arrive the next morning between 8:45 and 9:00 a.m., before the dealership opened. We arrived at 8:50 a.m. on Saturday, March 7. We were given the keys to take the vehicle for another test drive so our technician could briefly inspect it and so we could stop at the bank for the cashier's check. At 9:34 a.m. I messaged Joseph that we were headed to the bank, to which he responded with a thumbs-up emoji. We then returned to the dealership with the check in hand. Joseph stated he would begin preparing the paperwork while my wife took another test drive of the Nautilus. Again, he asked us to finance and make two payments then pay it off. After walking back and forth between his desk and the manager's office several times, Joseph eventually informed us that the Ford Edge had "just been sold." Given that we had the vehicle both the previous evening and that same morning, and that we had already agreed to terms and initialed the offer, this explanation seemed highly questionable. We were then offered a 2017 Ford Explorer with approximately 20,000 additional miles for the same price. This strongly resembled what is commonly known as a "bait and switch," a matter I intend to discuss with legal counsel and report to the FTC at ReportFraud.ftc.gov. We left the dealership extremely disappointed, particularly my son, who believed he had just purchased his first vehicle. Ironically, I still had the keys to the Edge in my pocket when we walked out. I later noticed a woman examining the same vehicle with another salesperson, which further suggested the car had not actually been sold at that time. It appears the dealership may have preferred a financed buyer rather than a cash purchase and therefore pulled the vehicle from under us despite our written agreement and cashier's check. As a result of this experience, Huntley Ford has now lost my personal service business of the past two years, the service business of three coworkers, and parts business from a local small business owner who will now take his work to Bull Valley Ford. The person who handed me papers (of course without clear communication on what the papers were or how binding they were) did not allow me to take a photograph of the finances. On a $14,500 used car, the total came out to a little over $24,000. How did they get these numbers? They lied and tacked on stuff to steal all of your money. I didn't notice any of the negative reviews until they asked me to post one. Which started getting me worried as I was filling out paperwork. Probably looking to even out all of these bad reviews. We visited Huntley Ford on a weekend evening to look at a vehicle and, unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. From the start, we were greeted by a salesperson who came across more like a scripted call center representative than someone genuinely interested in helping us. The interaction lacked personality, respect, and any sense of customer service--it felt robotic and impersonal. After test driving the vehicle and deciding we were interested, we sat down to discuss numbers. We made it very clear that we were prepared to purchase the vehicle outright with a cash offer of over $30,000. Financing was not something we were interested in. Despite repeating this multiple times, we were told that cash offers were not accepted and that they only work through financing. When they finally did agree to consider cash, they raised the vehicle price by several thousand dollars. A couple of days later, the car's price was lowered online. When we called back to ask if they would now accept a cash offer, we were met with the same robotic responses--essentially refusing to answer and instead telling us to "come in and discuss." I explained multiple times that I had two small children and was not able to come back in just to find out if they'd even honor a cash purchase. My calls were transferred several times, and I never truly felt that I spoke with a manager. Instead, I was dismissed, talked down to, and told that if I wanted the car badly enough, I should bring my young children in and go through the process all over again. This approach felt extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. The dealership was unwilling to have an honest conversation over the phone, and it became clear that their primary concern was steering customers into financing, where they benefit from kickbacks. Let's begin: 12/29/2023 the vehicle I was interested in was a 2021 Genesis Gv80. When I arrived I was handled by sales Rep Mike. As we are discussing the vehicle... the Dealership neglected to state in their Website that vehicle was a buyback... huge Red Flag. Nevertheless I was assured by Mike that the Issues were fixed. So we go look at the car and drive it. I was not shown any features in the vehicle and it was extremely dirty with severe curb rashes on all 4 Rims. I asked Mike is this issue going to be fixed if I purchase the vehicle he said yes, then were proceed to discuss the numbers. I am very aware of Shady Dealership tactics when I comes to adding imaginary fees to Jack up the price of the vehicle. I express this to Mike and he assured me that he and the Dealership do not try to scam people. Still feeling uneasy about the vehicle having a branded title, I told Mike that im considering shopping elsewhere due to the fact they hid the true condition of the vehicle and I did not want to pay for expensive repairs out of pocket once the manufacturer's original warranty expires. Mike tells me that they offer an fantastic extended warranty package that will cover the vehicle bumper to bumper up to 100000 miles. Upon hearing that information, it persuaded my decision to purchase the vehicle. I expressed my thanks then we shook hands and he asked me to wait in the lobby and wait for the Finance Manager. While going over the paperwork to finalize the deal I noticed that the vehicle final sale price was different from what myself and Mike agreed on. Mike added additional packages without my knowledge that we did not dicuss... which made the vehicle approximately 12 thousand more. I pointed this issue to the Finance Manager. The Finance Manager gets Mike from his desk so he can explain these additional charges. Mike entered the Finance Manager's office very upset. He had the nerve to be mad at that fact that I caught him trying to scam me out more money with all these bogus add-ons to the vehicle. Mike thought I was an Idiot and tried to Lie to me about why these charges were added... not knowing that I am very aware of what i should be paying and what I am not supposed to pay. I asked Mike to speak with a Sales Manger so we can adjust the numbers.. Mike stated that he will not change the final sale price and stated he is the Manager and there was no one else I can talk to. Then Mike storms out the office. After that event the Finance Manager and I begin to talk. I stated that I am going to walk away from the deal because I did not appreciate how the Sales Rep tried to con me. Understanding my frustration the Finance Manager said he will talk to the General Manager and work out the numbers for me. The Finance Manager returns and says General Manager adjusted to the numbers to your liking. However the Finance Manager stated in order to finalized the deal and allow me to purchase the vehicle I will have to purchase one of higher tier Extented Warranty packages. I thought that was odd, but I just wanted to get the deal over with because it was very exhausting. At first glance the vehicle appeared to normal until I noticed the Rims were still severely Scuffed... I went back into the Dealership and expressed my displeasure of the vehicle detail to the Finance Manager. I ask why are the Rims are still Scuffed when Mike told me they were going to be fixed before I leave.. he said he doesn't know why Mike told me that because certain vehicle details have to setup an appointment. This was very upsetting and frustrating. My experience with Huntly Ford was horrible I was severely mistreated, I would never go back there. Update May 22, 2026. This Dealership purposely sold me a extended warranty that they knew I could not use once the manufacturer's original warranty expires just to get the sale. Now im stuck a vehicle that's hard for me to trade in and high repair cost. This Dealership are full of people that will scam you... I would be aware working with this dealership! This was by far one of the worst experiences, trying to get information about vehicles for sale on their lot. I'm a customer from St. Louis Missouri that was requesting information from them that they would have to request from the manufacturer on their behalf, due to them selling a branded title. Would not consider helping me unless I came up to the dealer. Totally crazy I'm willing to drive 400 miles to buy a car, but they won't give me the information beforehand. Ask several times to speak to Paul (Thinking this is a real person because I have an email correspondence from a guy named Paul )when I was speaking with Bella, only for her to refuse to give me to Paul saying He was busy. So I asked to have him call me back and she refused. I asked to speak to a manager or be transferred to somebody else because I didn't wanna work with her anymore. She refused so I hung up and called back and I got Candace and Candace explained to me that Paul is an AI bot. Literally just wanted to work with one person to request information so I could purchase a vehicle. What a clusterfuck. If you're looking to get scammed, this is absolutely the dealership for you. My husband and I contacted this dealership in advance because we live over an hour away and wanted the out-the-door price on a vehicle they've had sitting on their lot since August. They flat-out refused to provide numbers and insisted we come in person. That should have been our first red flag--but we decided to give them a chance. We made an appointment and drove all the way there, only to be immediately treated with clear disinterest and judgment the moment we said which car we were there to see. The salesperson barely spoke to us, gave us a cold shoulder, and reluctantly brought the car out. The photos online must be heavily edited because in person the vehicle had chipping chrome and visible rust on the driver-side door. The test drive was painfully awkward--silent, uncomfortable, and unprofessional. Things only got worse once we returned to the office. Once again, we asked for the out-the-door price and were met with the usual deflection: "How do you plan to finance?" We asked multiple times for the price and still could not get a straight answer. Eventually, we were told that the advertised price is ONLY valid if you finance through them. If you don't, they quietly add an additional 7% to the online price--something they conveniently don't disclose upfront. At this point, it was obvious the salesperson was unhappy that we weren't financing through them and began questioning how we'd be paying and who we were approved with. After we named a well-known, reputable lender, he went to "talk to his manager" and came back saying they don't work with outside financing at all because it's "a pain." Excuse me--what? We clarified by asking if they would refuse a full check for the vehicle (essentially a cash purchase). His response? They would only accept it if it came directly from our personal bank account. I've never heard of a dealership--especially one sitting on a car for five months--turning away a ready-to-buy customer over this. Red flag after red flag: * Refusal to provide out-the-door pricing (even in person) * Hidden price increases if you don't finance with them * Discrimination and judgment based on age and financing choice * Refusal to work with outside lenders * Unprofessional, uncomfortable sales experience This dealership is not interested in selling cars--they are only interested in squeezing maximum profit through their financing tactics. We will be reaching out to Ford Corporate regarding this interaction, and I strongly advise anyone considering purchasing a vehicle here to take your business elsewhere. Undoubtedly, this is the worst calling-to-purchase a car experience that I had. I called on November 23rd, 2024 at 1:00 PM P.S.T. from California to purchase a 2021 Lincoln Navigator, which I saw on the Auto Navigator app (Capital One car loan app). The first time I called, I spoke to a male employee who said he works to schedule appointments for sales reps. He boorishly tried every way possible to discourage me from flying in from California to buy the SUV. He said their dealership can't take any deposits and even if I fly in from California on the same day (give them my travel plans), they can sell this car before me. Disliking and not interested in a super interested/finance-approved buyer from California was the focal point of Huntley Ford's "appointment taker employee's" message to me. He also didn't want to transfer me to any sales rep or schedule an appointment at any time of the day. He said they were all slammed with work. He simply didn't want to help me and further mentioned that these are the rules set by the owners. SHOCKING CONVERSATION WITH "THE MANAGER:" Matters became worse when I immediately called the second time to speak to a manager. I spoke to a lady who was pleasantly more discourteous. She did not want to transfer me to speak to a manager. After I was persistent in speaking to a manager, she transferred me. The rudest moment of this call was when the manager sounded like a high school bully, and I believe he said "California hunh" right when he answered the line. I thought I was connected to a wrong number. However, he then said what do you want in a demeaning and rude tone. In a state of shock, I asked are you really the manager at Huntley Ford. He said yes. He shouted at me a few more times before I disconnected the phone. I hope Ford and Capital One re-evaluate their relationship with Huntley Ford. Absolutely HORRIBLE experience at this stealership. Run away as fast as you can. My wife called to set up an appointment for a used vehicle and test drive it. We are about 2 hours away from this place, mind you, and she told that to the lady as well. She confirmed it was available and said they'd clean it up and have it ready for us. Told her we would be on the way then. When we arrived and sat down with a salesman, he told us to hang tight while he disappeared for about 20 min to grab the keys. Finally he came back to tell us that the car's battery died after some test drive the day and the car wouldn't be drivable now. LAUGHABLE. I immediately wanted to leave, as I explained that we just drove from 2 hours away and at any point if they truly went to get the vehicle ready for us prior, they simply could've called us and let us know. Nonetheless, being the greaseball these salespeople are, he convinced us to take a look at the vehicle and see if we could work something out. He drives us to some off-site lot (never did that before) where they have a bunch of inventory and there it is. I kid you not, it looks like this vehicle hadn't been touched since the day they got it. This car has been on their lot for over 150 days. It had dust and dirt all over it. It's a a disgusting mess inside. Clearly wasn't test driven recently and clearly wasn't prepared for us. It was made crystal clear that this car was never test driven. The battery was dead because it sat untouched all this time. At this point I'm checked out and ready to leave, but we go back to his desk and he draws up some numbers. He wanted to charge over $10,000 in added fees to this freaking car. After all of that, this disaster of an experience, he had the nerve to try to throw that on us. Offering 0 compensation to make any sort of a deal on this car that just wasted our entire day. And also don't even bother getting pre-approved, they refuse to accept it and will say you have to finance through them period. Their rates were estimated 2% over ours we brought in. Completely unprofessional all around and wouldn't even trust these people to sell me a pack of gum. I'm dumbfounded by the fact this place is still in business. Straight up predators. read more

I've asked this dealership multiple times to stop calling me, and the calls have continued anyway. At this point it feels more like harassment than customer service. On top of that, they are advertising vehicles that have branded titles, which is something buyers absolutely need to look out for. While that information may be disclosed somewhere in the fine print, it's not always obvious up front, and many consumers won't realize what that actually means until it's too late. Between the persistent unwanted calls and the inventory practices, this is not a dealership I would recommend. Shady. Tactics are scammy.... Even though they advertise an "ePrice available", they will not provide a clear pricing despite asking repeatedly. They will not even answer questions on price elements repeatedly, even when asked directly. For e.g. "is there a delivery or prep fee added?". The answer is always "come in and we'll discuss it with you". I explained that I live a couple of hours away and need a out the door price before making the trek again (already saw the car on one visit), and they just repeat "when will you come in?" over and over again, just ignoring your question and wearing you down with repetition. It's clear they've been coached and they're playing pricing games, which is why they will not put down a price in writing, which any other dealer will do. This is also evident in the reviews. All the 1 star reviews say the exact same thing - for used cars- low prices advertised, then pricing games, random fees, pressured sales tactics, etc. All the 5 star reviews (on google) say the same words - (mostly) new cars - "professional sales person", "answered all questions", "stress free" etc. ... it's just the same message slightly reworded... (coached, and are they all real?) The response is always to "call them". Why not just send out a price? Other dealers will do it. Buyer beware. I wish Ford would revisit their relationship with them, and Nissan with their sister location in Skokie. read more

I have reached out to Huntley Ford numerous times--no less than 10 conversations--with their call center and sales team regarding the purchase of a 2024 BMW. I live approximately seven hours from the dealership, yet their only response seems to be, "What time can you stop by and see the vehicle?" When I ask for the total price including all dealer fees, I receive the same scripted response every time: "It's the cost of the vehicle including all standard and applicable fees." I've repeatedly asked for a breakdown of those fees or even a simple emailed quote with the total cost so we can agree on a price before I make the long trip--but it's like speaking a foreign language. My last interaction was with Kelly, who could not deviate from the script regardless of what I asked--even for a simple yes or no answer. It's astonishing that a major dealership can operate with such a complete lack of customer service. Ford should be embarrassed to have their name associated with this store. I strongly recommend that anyone considering doing business with Huntley Ford stay far away. read more

They refuse to provide an OTD number upfront, and won't disclose their fees - which even their good reviews say are outrageous. Tried 3 times to work with them over the phone, they are the one and only dealer I've spoken with who refuse to work a deal remotely - That won't work for someone like me who would have to travel in.
