I work down the street but never tried this place. Called in to place my order, when I got there the cashier told me one of my order was from an old menu. She should have called me back and make me aware. Food was already made with whatever was on the new menu. I just settle for it. Food was great but needs to work on customer service.

I've been to Huong Lan many times and it's always been consistently good. Their pho is one of my favorites in town and I enjoy their ban mi sandwiches along with their variety of vermicelli bowls. The wait is never long and the staff has always been friendly here. Highly recommend this place along with the other locations in town!

We had gotten the order for pickup so can't really speak to the inside. Food took a bit longer than suggested but still not very long for the pickup. I had gotten the vegetarian, compatriot had gotten the chicken. Good amount of ingredients for both and the broth worked well. I definitely liked that they had chili oil. I'd say the only thing would be more veggies. The meat substitutes were good but some balance between the two would work best. Good for the area, would definitely swing back by again.

Got some Vietnamese sandwiches from this place. The bread was hard and falling apart. This was not the first time and it's not only from this restaurant, but all the Huong Lan I've been to in Fresno. Never buy sandwiches from Huong Lan. I can't even enjoy my sandwich.

[Review #644] 2021 Yelp 100 Challenge (65/100) Cuisine: Vietnamese. Price: Moderate prices & portions in this area (but pricier than L.A. & SGV Vietnamese shops). Restrooms: Yes, but not sure where. Parking: Small open private lot. Atmosphere/Service: Casual; polite, friendly service. COVID-19 Protocol: Mask required for unvaccinated staff & guests, hand sanitizer by register, indoor dining (a bit too close for my comfort). I stopped by my aunt's for dinner before heading home, & tired of eating Chinese for the holiday weekend & not wanting to trouble them to cook dinner, my cousin suggested Vietnamese takeout at Huong Lan 11. Huong Lan 11 is sister to Huong Lan Sandwiches [refer to Review #180], which I did enjoy the Bún Thịt Nướng Chả Giò (Vermicelli Noodle with Grilled Pork & Egg Rolls) except for the overtly artificial & overly sweet Honeydew with Pearl (boba). I can still remember it after 3 years. :-X I called in & ordered RICE PORK CHOP (Cơm Sườn Nướng) for my aunt, SPECIAL COMBO NOODLE SOUP (Phở Đặc Biệt) with EGG NOODLES for my cousin, & a couple of SPECIAL #1 & #2 (Bánh Mì Đặc Biệt) for me & my hubby. It was a quick 10-min. ETA, & I arrived just a couple of minutes before my order was ready. The server/cashier was friendly & organized... everything was neatly packed with utensils & napkins. =) I ran into a traveler coming from Yosemite, inquiring if they were serving phở, & I tipped them off that Huong Lan 11 serves one of the best in the area before leaving. The noodles & rice were quite hefty, & the sandwiches also had weight to them. I love my phở & bánh mì, but the prices here... not so much. It's on par with the area, however living in S. CA, I can get them wayyy cheaper. My aunt & cousin were hangry since it's past their usual dinner time so I wasn't able to snap pics before they dug in... they don't believe in the "camera eats first" since it's always been first come first serve in their house. If you snooze, you lose... LOL ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ The pork chop was almost the size of the takeout container so it's pretty chunk of meat. There was a decent amount of noodles & protein for the Special Combo; I liked that they separated the noodles from the soup to prevent sogginess & you get more broth. My Bánh Mì Đặc Biệt was pretty filled with the cured meats & pickled veggies; it was a proportionate 1:1 bread:filling ratio, though it had a tad too much Mayo for my liking & could use a few more jalapeños. The toasted bread was crispy & fluffy, & you could tell it was fresh! =) This location makes a better bánh mì than its sis over by Fwy 41, which gave me a skimpier sandwich. These sandwiches are normally ranged in high $2s - mid-$3s in SGV are now in the low $4s with occasional deals that can drop down to the $3s (it's distant sister in San Jose runs in the $5s) hence my slight dissatisfaction. :-( Still it was a satisfying sandwich, though I was still stuffed from a lunch. Oh, 1 more thing... if you dine in with a bành mì, there's a 50¢ surcharge. :-X The dining room was mostly empty near 7 PM, but it might be due to the Independence Day holiday weekend & folks rather have BBQ than Vietnamese food, or patrons are ordering takeout. A near-empty dining room is usually a bad sign, but I'm familiar with them from my days living in San Jose (& the shop off Tully Rd. is always jam packed) so no worries here because I know their sandwiches & Vietnamese noodles/rice dishes are on point, can't say the same for their boba drinks (I suggest going to a dedicated boba shop instead). I'm not a local but if I'm in the area & craving Vietnamese food, Huong Lan 11 will definitely satisfy any hunger pangs. Recommended: Special #1 & #2 (there's a 50¢ surcharge for bành mì dine-in), Special Combo Noodle Soup, Rice Pork Chop.

This place is amazing! Super welcoming and amazing food and prices. They were even able to accommodate my mom's seafood allergy. Definitely will be coming here again and recommending to others!!

First time at this location came in for dinner around 7pm. Friendly staff was greeted as we entered. Was told to take a menu and to take a seat anywhere we wanted. Mask was optional. We ordered our usual; large special combo noodle soup, spring rolls, combo fried rice and Thai tea with boba. The food came out hot and fast less than 10mins after we ordered. The food was good and large portioned. The boba on the Thai tea was okay it wasn't as soft as it should have been it if was fresh. They got alittle busy as crowds started to come in and they never refilled our waters. The restrooms were clean. Overall we had a fairly good experience I like how all of the huong lan locations stay really consistent to the flavors in their dishes.

First off the business is very clean, Sat down immediately looked over the menu and they came to take our order . They give you water, Pho was amazing great flavor, the bbq pork meat was very thin and I loved that. The large #28 my husband order was HUGE he didn't even finish it all. Egg rolls were great. Spring rolls were very fresh. I have no complaints. They also have a variety of sauces on your table LOVED THAT. Will definitely be returning. And highly recommend. Food came out very quickly to.

Finally getting to my long overdue review of Huong Lan. This is their newest location (the other location I've been to is on Shaw and Fresno near Fashion Fair Mall) and closer to me. The inside is pretty clean and you usually pick where you would like to sit when you walk in unless you're getting takeout or have a large party. Unlike the other location they have to go containers out and a condiment bar you can help yourself too (bean sprouts, jalapenos, cilantro, peanuts, etc) for your pho/ food. The workers are nice and friendly. This place can and does get busy with the combination of sit down and take out orders. Often times they're short handed which can lead to added wait times for service. I've had occasions where it took a long time to get water refills. All of the tables are numbered on the napkin holders so when you get up to go pay at the front you give them your table number. If you put more than one table together that somehow seems to confuse them because on one occasion we had two table numbers, but they charged us for a different order. If we're taking up two table numbers there shouldn't be a reason someone else has that number. Despite the little hiccups here and there I genuinely enjoy this place. The parking lot is small and kind of cramped. My go to's are the #69 Vermicelli Bowl (with chicken) and the Seafood noodle soup. Their spring rolls and shrimp friend rice are pretty good as well. My boyfriend always orders the beef stew noodle soup. It looks good, but I don't eat red meat. They also have a bunch of iced or blended drinks you can order with boba or jellies.

Do they have hot foods to go like the location in Sacramento? From the pictures, it looks more restaurant dining in.

It's all hot food to go style! They do not serve you at the table, but you can dine in or on the patio :)

Is there a new number for this location? I called and I got a automated response stating, " you have reached a non-working number[...]"

I'm not quite sure, I just moved to Fresno and saw that it was down the street from where I live n did a walk in.

But since we were dinning in I decided to try their Steak and Eggs with the bread. It was sooooooo good. The warm bread was crunchy on the outside and nice and soft in the inside. The eggs and meat came out on a sizzling try. There were two sunny side up eggs, thick cut of sweet/salty/tender marinated beef, small mushrooms, and pate on top. Paired with the bread this was a very comforting and delicious dish. The Nam Nuong rolls were good. Good portion of fillings and great crunchiness of the eggrolls wrappers and thick cut of the nam Nuong pork. I was only disappointed in the sauce. It was good but lacking depth of flavors. I think my expectation was it go be like the ones at Brodard's. And it wasn't. Located in the back corner, it can be a little hard to find parking if it gets busy but there is also the side parking lot. There was a wait list but we waited in line at the to go counter to ask to be seated. We were given our water and ordered. Once the food was dropped off we weren't checked up on again but this didn't bother us and you pay at the counter afterwards. The place had a lot of seatings with some seatings outside. There were tv playing Vietnamese food channels that was cool. I didn't get anything from their huge options of drinks and Che this time though. Looking forward to doing so next time. If you haven't tried this place, I would highly recommend their Vietnamese sandwiches with extra pate and butter.

You'll then have to wait to be seated at the register. I think this set-up is kind of awkward but hey, at least they have cute sidewalk seating. There are plenty of tables and long benches to sit at and the restaurant itself feels clean and well-lit! The staff are super helpful also. Tried the House Special Beef Pho and it was pretty tasty! You do have the option to order your dish with regular thin noodles, flat noodles, or egg noodles. The broth is basil-y and the flavor has great depth. They have a self-serve station for condiments where you can grab some chili oil, jalapeños, bean sprouts, and lime. My favorite thing about this restaurant is that I don't feel too bloated after eating here (compared to other pho restaurants). Been enjoying this restaurant and eating here at least once a week!

My memory is shot. I don't want to be handing out 5 stars so easily but I think they deserve it. The restaurant is very clean, and I love the little Asian lanterns they have, all different, above each table. Plenty of seating. When we got there (a little after 5), there was only one other table occupied... by the time we left (6:30), every table was nearly taken. Our waitress, as well as the other on the floor, were both very welcoming and friendly. They handled the service remarkably as a team. The fact that they were a packed house and still were very attentive with us, checking how we're doing, checking on our water refills... these are the little things I appreciate most (and, of course, good food). I got the Pho with the Fatty Brisket, my friend got just the Steak Pho. They have a bar against the wall with all garnishes you may need to grab what you'd like. This is pretty smart... It saves them from waste. Instead of giving people items they may not use-- they would just grab what they'd like themselves. My friend grabbed her goodies, I prefer mine as is. To me, if your broth is good and doesn't require me to flavor it... I'll eat it just like that (unless I feel like adding spice). I've only ever been to a few other Pho places where I had to season up the broth myself...definite no no for them. All my friends who have gone out to eat Pho with me know I eat it just how I get it. Pho from my Mama is a different story though... I put the works (not because it's not flavorful) but, it's just different. Moving on... They also have a Teazona in their establishment. I've tried a few different drinks in the past but came to regularly deciding on the Tiramisu Milk Tea (no flan for me, light boba). Make sure to shake it well. You can also let them know your preference on the level of sweetness. We both got this tonight and it nearly tipped me over on the full scale. Couldn't finish it. Everything was really good though. Pho was the perfect choice for this weird, gloomy weather we've been having. The price is a bit up there but that seems to be the norm everywhere nowadays. But-- for the portion, the quality, and the service? Worth it.

I couldn't help myself and active point picked up my bowl and just started sipping the broth. My wife ordered the same thing as I, minus the meatballs and she too, could not get over how much flavor the broth had, almost like they had been slow cooking this for the past three days straight. The spring rolls were 100% handmade and the filling inside was delicious. We did bring our kids with us and we're definitely nervous because they are very picky eaters. They do offer a kids menu, but there isn't much to it. It's basically rice broth and your choice of meat.
