It's long .....first off very confusing the way they log and track ,parts,time,warranty, received…read moremonies. I sent very specific info my truck year,engine,and I guess assumed the new engine would be the same style vortec because the vortec years all have their own parts . I have 1996 k1500 with vortec 5.7 and a 4l60 transmission ( early 4l60 are 700 r4 with extra servo and not all the electronics) kinda figured a shop doing several thousand units a year would know . The shipped me a 4l60 e LS transmission and said all transmission need custom fitted ...not what I ordered ,,,then they kept shipping cost said they are not responsible,,,I did not order wrong transmission.i have all communication back and forth . They try to delete all info but I screen shot everything as to give date and time .Now as for the craftsmanship ,,engine looks good but ..big but with the non vortec block and a early 1995 date code the alternator and AC are reversed for the vortec so again lots of changing ,adding,, modifying,,to make work . I have the warranty but Jim voided immediately after he took off the flex plate of the balanced blue printed engine I paid for ,so I purchased a sfi stamped jegs replacement. I am researching the entire engine piece by piece as the ace efi has an issue that ace efi is working on ,,,( relatively new company ACE not best idea using their parts until they get all their problems worked out ,,but these cause they were and still are cheaper than the big companies. The cam is a cheaper model sm 1011 under 200 bucks which is not suited for comp control ,their specs but hot rod company uses anyway ,,,heads are house brand ,,not sure if valves springs upgrade as per sm website But for most part they use the cheapest they can ,,,several other yelp comments the same and as for operation under another name West Coast Performance as per the Washington state attorney general office complaints and also better business bureau ,,,so please do research get everything in writing copy and screen shot everything ask questions parts ,numbers,serial number,, everything I will guarantee I will never be a repeat customer and there is several better options ,,skip white performance had some tough builds ,,,Jim butler performance,,,GM performance ..all offer better package for same or better price as hot rod company ...I also am planning on small claims court . I went back and found the correct ones and stood in line again. Once I got up to the counter with Raj, (very welcoming person) my experience was so much better! I paid for the wipers and he went out to my truck and installed them for me. I tried to give him a tip, but he refused! So many places put the tip jar out and you're expected to tip. This was one service I really thought deserved a tip for going above and beyond! I tried several times to give him the money, which was barely enough to cover a coffee at Starbucks, but he just wouldn't have it. Truely a genuinely kind person who enjoys working with people! This is actually something that seems to be the norm among Advance Auto Parts. I came in for a new set of wiper blades and in less than five minutes I was rolling out of the parking lot and very happy. While in the shop, the employees walked me through their selection and my wiper size requirements. I solicited recommendations, which they candidly provided. Not only that, but it turns out they had a sale on the particular set I chose - icing on the cake.

PDI tech passed off damage to side skirts as a "feature". Mixed experience. Trailer is great and we got it with minimum fuss. We had pre-approval from my Credit Union for the purchase. Over the phone, salesperson CeCe asked my wife and I to fill out the BlueDog financing application because "We need it to work with your bank". I told her explicitly on no fewer than 3 occasions "We already have financing. Please do nothing that will result in a credit pull. My wife and I are trying hard to protect our rating." I also wrote it on the application. Each time she assured me that she wouldn't. Of course, as we were already halfway to Spokane (5 hour drive) my wife looked and Surprise! At least 2 credit pulls from Spokane. When we arrived and complained, CeCe tried to explain to us that we didn't actually have a pre-approval (despite having email to the contrary). She pretty much evaded and deflected any questions we asked about anything. When we got into the finance office, Kurt (finance guy) was aghast when we told him. He looked at the app and saw the "please no pull" note, and admitted to not seeing it. CeCe had not ever conveyed our request to him. He gave us a parts credit to try to ease things. So Kurt a) owned the problem and b) tried to make it up while CeCe just pretended it didn't exist. Don't deal with CeCe. When we drove over to Post Falls to pick up the trailer, our PDI tech was nice enough, but when I pointed out a weird bulge in the aluminum wheel skirt, he gave us some line about it being "to give extra room in the event of a tire blowout". Which sounded like BS at the time, but we had been on the move for about 8 hours at that point, and I just wanted to get out of there. When we finally got to our campsite, I took a closer look and it was totally due to damage. Comparing the two sides of the trailer makes it really obvious. Also, there's sawdust inside many of the cabinets. I mean, how hard is it to clean that up?
