2.5 stars I came here for a friend's birthday. I've only been here once before, two years ago, so this is just based on this experience. We came on a Tuesday night so that's why it could've been off, but there was definite weirdness here-- mostly at the hands of our server. We weren't sure if she was new or not, but some things she did: - took a long time for our drinks (one cocktail, two waters) - brought the cocktail out first, forgot the straw; took five more minutes for the water (its's water!) - food came out lukewarm (my friend said her tacos were cold) - when we asked for hot sauce, said we might be charged for it (!!!???) and then given a tiny, almost empty bottle of Tabasco (though not charged) - the most weird: the birthday girl asked for chocolate lava cake for dessert with a candle in it. The server even came back to ask if she wanted raspberry sauce and whipped cream on the LAVA CAKE. She then brought out the sea salt caramel cheesecake with a candle, no mention of the lava cake. My friend was charged for the lava cake. We said we'd come here again because the cocktails look good and the food was decent, but this made us weary. The decor, however, is really cute. read more

Absolute worst. The food was as expected, your standard bar food. Being a server myself, I understand what it means to be weeded and overwhelmed. Therefore I am almost always understanding. But our server was MIA the whole time. Received my food and had to wait 5 minutes for silverware. He also forgot to ring in something I ordered so that was another 10 minutes. This place used to be good but not anymore. Its clear they don't want return business. Maybe the owners have made their investment back and aren't worried about quality. Smaller wings, less flavor & no carrot sticks which is standard practice. They also used to have great promotions which seemed to have disappeared. I am giving this place a 2 star rating because of their lack of customer service. I have had about as many good meals there as I have had bad ones, so it's a hit or miss with that as well, but my experience with them tonight sealed the deal as far as I'm concerned. I ordered an appetizer and a sandwich and was told 45-55 min for the delivery time, which I was ok with, but my food didn't arrive until an hour and a half later, the delivery driver barely spoke English and got lost in the complex and had to call because he couldn't remember the address, and it was almost impossible to communicate with him. I placed an order to go. We entry to pick up the food only to find we were missing 2 orders of French fries. We ordered the beer battered fish and chips, and when we opened the box the only thing in it was a large piece of fish and nothing else. We were also missing a side of garlic parm fries. $45 worth of food and NO sides. When I called to inform them we were missing food, the said they can get it ready for me to come pick up, smh. I live all the way in pleasant valley, so of course I did not go back. You would think someone would have offered to deliver the missing items. Never again will I waist my money! I specifically ask if they had a certain ingredient, I was told no yet my order was full of it! My food came in the door and straight in the garbage! Great wings, had the jumbo sampler all flavored were great. My wife had crab cake sliders, also very good. Service all around excellent. The only downside is the 2 for 1 drinks are a scam. I would rather pay $4 a beer and be able to try different ones vice $7 for two of the same. read more

Ok let's start with our server Ryan. Super sweet knowledgeable attentive. We started with drinks the blueberry lemonade was ok the pineapple mojito was better. We had firecracker shrimp it should have been called crack shrimp it was so good you want more more more. Then preceded onto main dish I had the pull pork slider with a mango BBQ sauce it was pretty good. Lynn had the chicken pecan salads that was very good an once again Ryan was so great. This is unfortunate that I did not have a good meal at Hurricane Grill & Wings. I had the sirloin steak with garlic broccoli and french fries with a house salad. I ordered the steak medium and it came out well done the broccoli was overdressed and soggy french fries were not fresh dressing was good for salad but croutons were stale. Service was good and hopefully my next experience will be better. read more

All in all not bad. Warm beach decor made a cold MLK day a little brighter. I kept it basic with a small order of extra hot wings make sure to ask for extra crispy because these are extra large. Chili was a little bland but ingredients seemed high quality. I ate at the bar and had a nice conversation with the bartender. 2 dollar Miller lite bottles all day every day ain't bad either. read more

This is a great place to come if you want to watch the game and drink with the guys while you stuff your face with $2 tacos; unfortunately for me, I don't want sports and I came here with my family for a nice meal. The $2 tacos are fantastic and they have a great selection to choose from; The Asian inspired tacos were my favorite! The restaurant is pretty dark inside and sports are playing on EVERY screen...bleh! Boring! Badm communication! We went on for Sunday funday and it become terrible. They had $5 margherita and we wanted an upgrade in the tequila. . Well the $5 dollar drink turned into $ 15 and never did they say that lol, and how would I assume it won't be 3 times the amount?? Anyway, I asked for the manager and she's did nothing to adjust the price, nothing! I'm fact says it is what it is, I explained to her that the waiter never spoke about a $10 upcharge, and she'd said he should have said something. He came over apologize for that, but she still did nothing!!! Can't make this up.... Pulled pork was dry as hell, said that too nothing done with that either and I didn't eat it. Safe to say I'll never come here again, being in the industry I can tell you they were dead wrong on both accounts and something should have been done to compensate this debate, and clearly she could care less.... Been here twice in 2 weeks. The first time was great. My chicken sandwich was good & my husband had the wings. The grilled avocado was just warm avocado, nothing special. We saw that Monday's was all you can eat wings so we went back the following Monday. We sat in an area that only had one other table. The waiter was friendly. My husband ordered the all you can eat wings & I ordered a burger. Our food came out & my husband ate his 10 wings in 2 minutes. He flagged down the waiter to order 10 more. At this point, the waiter informed us that the way it works is the first order you get 10 wings then 5 at a time after that. My husband is 6'3 285. 5 wings will be gone in seconds. So he said ok, I guess. The waiter said he'll put in another order right after the 5 came up. We waited about 10-15 mins for 5 wings. I finished my burger before he got his other wings. The waiter said ok your other wings should be out soon. At this point my husband was upset & wanted to leave right away. I paid the bill & our waiter didn't ask if anything was wrong when clearly their was. Another employee asked & apologized for the service. We will probably never go again. read more

Staff is always friendly, and always there for you without being overbearing. This place reminds me of eating near the docks & canal in my hometown! The atmosphere is laid back, nice place for family (with kids) dinner. Eating outside is pleasant when weather permits, tiki torches and all. Not bad for a corporate chain restaurant. The food is consistent and served quickly. The wait staff is attentive. There seems to be a lot of turnover of bar staff. They may have corporate training but don't seem to know real bar etiquette. Melanie is the best manager. Good place to watch a game. Prices are reasonable. read more

Service was so slow and portions were tiny. Not like it used to be at all- used to love this place. We had to track down someone just to get refills on waters and it took 10 minutes for our server to come pick up the credit card after we asked for the bill. Ordered a grey goose on the rocks, I got a glass full of ice to the top and half filled with vodka, then the bill came and there was an extra charge of 75 cents for the ICE ! The loaded chili nachos were cold and the chili had no taste. When I asked the manager about the extra ICE charge he said that it was because they gave me more vodka cause it was on the rocks. I'm a huge fan of the cheesy mixed drinks. The coconut mojito, I've tried to replicate it with absolutely zero success. It's the middle of winter and I still head over for a coconut mojito. Super friendly staff, great seating all year-round. It can get a bit busy and hectic but it's manageable. I have had a few noshes here and it's never been disappointing. I was there for over 3 hours and could only get 1 beer. They need to improve their bar service. It was very slow. They had a big crowd. When they have a good live band they need to put on some extra servers for the floor for those standing and listening to music. The good: the IPA beer was good. I just received a delivery order that I placed at 7:15pm tonight. When the food finally did arrive it is beyond disgusting. The takeout box was open inside of the plastic bag and somehow the wings are soaking wet?! the wax paper thats inside of the wings box is so soggy that its falling apart. The onion rings are ice cold and the fries are cold and soggy. The only reason I'm willing to give 2 stars is because I've eaten there a few times before and it wasn't terrible. Went to Hurrican 4 times. The first two times at the bar was pretty positive. The bar staff was friendly, had decent drinks and the food came out fast/was good quality. A couple years after opening I went here with a family member for new years as well as a random trip. The quality is lower in recent times versus when it was new. The menu didn't seem like it knew what it wanted to be (its a grill/wing place, but has chili/beach bowls/seafood etc). The seats were also uncomfortable, they were like crates and felt "creeky." so I didn't want to move while eating. When I went to this location the first couple times with friends, we thought it would have a "college bar feel" but were surprised that it was more family oriented. This is a matter of preference (we wanted more of a college fun feel when we went the first couple of times). Wish Hurrican would go back to the original food, it was tasty. read more

I ate these wings via pickup, so I can't rate the restaurant experience since there was none. I ordered Honey BBQ. The flavor was decent, but the sauce was lacking. There was a little sauce at the bottom of the container; nevertheless it was watery. Within 20 minutes of finishing, I was sick in the bathroom. It was absolutely from the food here (rather than food from a different source) because I hadn't eaten in hours. I have a fast metabolism. Not sure what it was that made me sick, but I would guess that it was improper handling of the food by the cooks (i.e. inadequate hand washing, cross contamination b/n cooked and raw, etc.). Bit of a late review as I had eaten here a week ago, but I figured I'd air my thoughts. I've been several times over the years and I feel like the service got worse the more I came. Drinks were received rather slowly and the food came even slower. When you have to wait 30-45 minutes for all you can eat wings, you know you have a problem. It's an even bigger problem when you have 8 people desperate for some food. The perfect storm was more like a lite drizzle basic fried things you can make at home better the shrimp had no sauce the "boneless wings" I would call popcorn chicken then no fried pickles and no garlic Parmesan fries but instead some of the saddest fall full mozzarella sticks I have had the misfortune to encounter not to mention the fact that we only received two of the four items and one of the three sauces that's about a 30% accuracy in preparation .
