I ordered the seafood crazy fries because the pictures depicts jumbo shrimp as well as the description for the meal, I paid 13.99-15 dollars if not mistaken and received very tiny baby shrimp. The hushpuppies had the potential for being good however the ones I received were overcooked and dry. When I inquired about another dish to try in place of the seafood fries I was told they didn't have the specific dish anymore, I inquired about another dish and was told they were out so I just gave up. read more

Superior seafood inside a mall location. Excellent sides with your grandma's mac & cheese, delicious collard greens, and great potato salad. The whiting was very good with a thin corn breading batter, as was the catfish. The fried shrimp, although only 5 in a basket, were large, perfectly cooked and well spiced. Everything we ate was excellent! Great service with a very friendly staff. Big indoor dining area. Unfortunately, sodas are only served in cans, no fountain drinks. Otherwise, five stars. The guy at the check out was super cool! He let me know what they had and that they weren't the previous business who occupied the space. I decided on getting the basket of shrimp. I was surprised that the shrimp were huge! Big plus there. Everything was a dud. I mean it's mall food so I shouldn't have expected much. The shrimp are crispy and buttery. The fries are just not hitting. They are just fries with Cajun seasoning that doesn't stick. For the name to be HushPuppies I expected them to be out of the world and they weren't. I mean if you want to separate yourself at least make them huge! Something has to draw people back but here's nothing here to do that. Ok...I was on the fence because the reviews are either really solid or really bad. Located right inside the entrance of Boulevard mall. I decided to take a look on my way out of this very underwhelming mall with no real expectations. The guy at the front was so friendly. I hope this is his establishment because it will grow with that genuine hood service. I think his name was either Kem or Ken. I just ordered a small Mac n cheese. It was indeed pretty small but I guess if served with fish and shrimp and other items it would be fine. HOWEVER...the flavor?!Crazy! It was seasoned so well and so hot and fresh and cheesy. It tasted almost like a dish that would be a pasta dish at a restaurant. Like...y'all gave me this tiny portion cuz you know I'm about to come and buy 7 more sides of this. So good! The size was 3-5 bites total...but my world is changed. I see things from a different point of view. I believe I can fly. I have exited the matrix. Life has just begun. Stupid good! We come to Las Vegas 4x a year and for over 20 years, hush puppies was our go to spot on every visit. Saturday we arrived after an absence of several years due to Covid and thought the place was closed because the parking lot was so empty, first clue all was not well. We went in anyway and saw the lovely remodel job and the absence of the salad bar, second clue. We sat down and looked at the menu, HORRORS no all you can eat fish, no fiddlers, no alligator. My husband said let's go. I should have listened . The food was o repriced and terrible. I order chicken big mistake, it was overcooked to burned. I send it back. My husband ordered clam chowder, that was milk, potatoes and bacon and flavorless at that. Even the hush puppies were not up to par and they were the best thing I ate. I was so hurt my favorite food place in Vegas gone the way of the Dodo bird. I ordered some of the hush puppies just to get a feel of the place. Omg was I glad I did. The hush puppies were freshly made and fried right there, not the kind you buy frozen.
