Ceviche mixto botana
Victor A.

Went on a Friday afternoon, was pretty dead which was great for me! Food was overall good, the ceviche mixto botana had a really good flavor, nothing tasted off! The shrimp empanadas were good, soft and tasty. The drink was citrusy, slightly sweet with a nice little sting of alcohol! Service was awesome I sat down, got my food and check quickly! Ambiance was nice it had some tasteful music playing!

Omg this place is amazing the food is so delicious always the best service I go here every time I'm in Vegas multiple times lol

Came here once again & had another amazing experience. We had a mixed ceviche platter to share, not only was it incredibly delicious, but it was also well served & at the perfect point in terms of flavor. Our Micheladas, as always, served in an ice cold glass by a kind server. This might be my favorite Mexican seafood restaurant in town.

Shrimp Tacos and Gobernardor Taco

Vegas Mexican food? Let's do it, coming from California I had to give it a shot. Got me 2 shrimp tacos and a Gobernador, along with rice and beans. The shrimp tacos had good flavors to them, overall nothing stood out that crazy but they weren't bad, especially with the green salsa. The Gobernador taco had too much cheese to be honest. It didn't really need all those bell peppers either, wasn't a big fan, the cheese overpowered everything. The beans were decent and the rice was pretty mediocre, not sure why they gave the white rice. I forgot to mention I tried the shrimp ceviche and it was solid. Good flavoring and juices, paired nice with the crackers given. Gobernador: 5.6 Shrimp Tacos: 7.2 Rice: 6.2 Beans: 7.0 Shrimp Ceviche: 7.9

Mocajete meal

Coming from San Diego only 1 mile from the Mexican border I didn't expect much from this place. WOW i was wrong. The aqua chile was better then any i have ever had from San Diego or Tijuana beaten only by one i ate in Mazatlan Mexico. The molcajete plate was also amazing. I just coming here hands down. Next time i come back to Vegas i will be back. To put it simple this place isn't good for Vegas. It Good for anywhere !

Best mariscos spot in Vegas Off the strip. Great prices, delicious food, clean environment. Service is excellent; friendly and fast. Come back every time we're in Vegas.

Molcajete familiar so good. This is our go to when we come to Vegas and it never disappoints!!!

Clean, Great food, great service never leave here disappointed. Love this place. Friendly staff always

Best Mariscos in Vegas!!! From Palms Casino it's only a 12 minute drive. The Mariscos are Always super fresh and what I love the most is that the recipes, presentation, and flavor is consistently the same. Their customer service is the absolute best, it's always clean and the best music always playing! Come here, don't go anywhere else, If you're looking for the BEST MARISCOS you've ever had! Must try the Shrimp Empanadas and Camarones Al Ajillo.

My friend & I are from So Cal. I grew up in Boyle Heights, LA & have eaten Lots of Mexican food. This place is AWESOME! I had the Lobster in garlic & butter. My friend had the shrimp in a chipotle sauce. SO good, both of them. I kept stealing his sauce. House made beans, house made rice, hand made tortillas, & GOOD house made salsa with at least 6 different bottled chile sauces on the table. And the Tres Marias margarita sampler was da bomb!!! All the sides complimented the main dishes beautifully. And service was warm & friendly even as we practiced our broken Spanish with the server. Loved the decor & ambiance. You know you are in a Mexican place that loves their roots. When in Vegas we will definitely be coming back for more!

Best mariscos I've ever tried in Vegas! Spicy as hell I felt I was back in Mexico! Definitely I'll be going back everytime I'm in Vegas!

We really wanted to like this place, but our ceviche was EXTREMELY SOUR way way to much lime juice.. all you can taste is lime? And it was warm so it really threw us off. We didn't order anything else after trying the ceviche. Place is clean and our server was nice but we won't be returning unfortunately.

Chipotle camarones

Highly recommend this restaurant the food is deliciously amazing and very authentic. The flavors and portion sizes are well worth the price . Tortillas are homemade. We came back for the second time before heading back to California. Recommend the horchata and Jamaica . FYI if you check in via Yelp you get a free small Jamaica . Chips and salsa are good also chips aren't stale . After my first post of this place it got 2,500 more views only 1 day of posting hopefully this post will give thousands more to this hidden gem !!!!!

Aguachiles were so good and flavorful ! :) honestly the best I've had in a while ! Def recommend this spot and it's not too far from the Las Vegas strip ! Staff was great

No lie, this specific location is probably the biggest cash cow on the strip racking in millions of dollars. I love their highly popular Al pastor meat; its crisp edges and tender texture makes it the best. It has just enough sweetness from the pineapple but not too sweet. The creamy green/white sauce poured on top is EVERYTHING! It tastes perfect. I have to have 6 tacos ($4) each every time. Pair these tacos with a plate of grilled onions and jalapeños too! The business comes in waves but notice the early afternoons are the lightest with a quick wait time. If you come at night/late night, the wait time standing can be about 25 mins even. Tacos El Gordo is THE ONE!!

I had the mahi mahi tacos and they were too much for me, in part because they came with three sides, all delicious. My husband had the carne asada quesadilla and enough left over for lunch tomorrow. I tried the lime margarita, also excellent, and we couldn't leave without trying the churros for dessert. The ambience is lovely, with gorgeous decor, comfortable booths, and an excellent Hispanic music playlist. This is our new favorite Mexican restaurant. Big shoutout to our server, Brandy, who knew just when to replace the lemonade, and suggested the excellent street corn. We will be back very soon!

I really like the interior decor which is like a very contemporary and upscale Mexican. They have a variety of table and booth seating and a large bar. Our server, Hunter, was very friendly and attentive. He always ended every interaction with "have fun!" I tried the "el corazon" sangria which was delicious! It had a wonderful, warm flavor with a light hint of cinnamon yet it was still cold and refreshing! A cool tip - each drink comes with a little card with a symbol on it and the drink ingredients. Save this card! At each table is a game board of sorts that offers various prizes as you match the cards on the game board sort of like bingo. We really enjoyed the complimentary chips and salsa, and we tried the traditional guacamole with vegetables as well. The guacamole was wonderfully cool and creamy and flavorful. For my entree, I tried the chicken fajitas which is served on a steaming platter with various accompaniments. This was also very delicious, and the chicken was quite flavorful and juicy. A small side note - it was served with a cous cous of sort, but I think I would've preferred a simple Spanish rice. The chicken portion size also seemed a bit smaller than when we get fajitas at Chili's. I would recommend you get double meat if you want to share. We decided to try the chocolate flan and the fried ice cream sundae for dessert. I preferred the flavor of the flan and the unique textures of the flan which had the jiggly caramel flan part on top of a more cake like chocolate part below. I honestly think the fried ice cream was not too good. It did not taste freshly fried, and the coating was very dry and brittle and hard to eat. I prefer the places that serve the fried ice cream warm with a very bubbly crust that is both crunchy outside and a bit soft inside. This was not that. Overall, though, we really enjoyed the dining experience here! We will probably return and try their weekday "Fajitas and Ritas" special! I recommend Hola!

It was honestly some of the blandest Mexican food I've had, and nothing we ordered really stood out. It also felt a bit like a tourist trap. A simple frozen margarita was around $20, and the menu seemed pretty limited. I've since heard they're mostly known for their giant tortas, so maybe that's what they're best at. The service was fine, but the overall ambiance felt a little off. There was also a noticeable smell throughout the restaurant that made it seem like there might be plumbing issues. Sadly, the nostalgia wasn't enough to make up for the food, and I don't see myself coming back.
