The Hyatt Regency Boston (downtown) was the final destination of many days vacationing through Maine and then back to Massachusetts. We are so glad we made the decision to splurge for a nice place downtown! Phillip Johnson and his team were in close communication with us before and during our stay - and treated us to the gift of a pair of Boston Cream Pies with fruit, champagne, and flute glasses waiting for us, as I'd noted we were there for our 25th wedding anniversary. So appreciated! We were given four tokens for chowder in the restaurant on check-in, too, but were "seafooded out" after Lobster Festival, et. al. otherwise would have enjoyed them, and it was an appreciated gesture. The fitness center had many options and was very clean. Best of all was our room. It was just the two of us, so if we had kids sleeping on the fold-out bed in the adjoining room, the glass farm doors that others mentioned in their negative reviews would have been an issue, but no problems for a couple staying in only the one room. Great views from the 20th floor, another appreciated upgrade! The proximity to so many things - start of the Freedom Trail, Chinatown, theaters in the (go figure) Theater District - make it a convenient place for guests wanting to tour the area. Thanks for the awesome experience in your city!

For my first time staying in Boston, I wanted a hotel that was very walkable to shops, restaurants, and had easy access to the metro line. The decision was easy: the Hyatt Regency Boston. Located in the heart of the theater district, it's within walking distance to Boston Common, Newbury Street, and multiple subway lines. Upon arrival, I was pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a king corner suite, which offered a fantastic view of the city. The suite was spacious and comfortable, making my stay even more enjoyable. One of the unique features of this hotel is its convenient access points. Depending on which way you exit, you can go down to the second floor and walk through Macy's to reach Summer Street. This made it incredibly easy for me to explore the city. As I would go to Caffe Nerro daily for coffee. I loved the location as it allowed me to walk to the wharf downtown or take a quick subway ride to the North End or the Prudential Center. The Hyatt Regency Boston made my first trip to the city wonderful, and I would definitely stay here again for future visits.

Really good location. Few mins walk to Chinatown where we eat every evening. Half an hour walk to South end, it was pretty easy walk to my dad's place. Buffet breakfast was okay, I expected it to be a bit better & more selection like other Regency. To me, it is just like continental breakfast at Hyatt Place but slightly bigger. Room is in good shape, still see scratches here and there but nothing big that needs much concern. As always, i don't spend a lot of time in the room as i spend time with my elderly dad & help get some stuffs done until late evening. Able to redeem some points for next family visit in May, look forward to coming back. Hotel is quite expensive in summer & fall, points redemption is my to go when I can find an availability that works with my schedule & flight cost.

    Misty morning in Boston.

Great location for a quick trip from Boston to Maine. Rooms were quiet and comfortable. Nice city views. So centrally located. Easy to walk to the Boston Common, the Quincy Market, and Faneuil Hall. Follow the Freedom Trail to the Old North Church, Copp's Hill Burying Ground and the Massachusetts State House. Grab breakfast at the hotel or walk to our favorite, Tatte Bakery & Cafe. Parking is pricy, but it is Boston. There is also a $30 destination fee which is waived for globalists. The fee includes a daily cup of chowder and a $10 coupon to the restaurant as well as some other discounts and perks. Perfect for a couple of days in Boston.

Prime location for downtown Boston. Walking distance to Chinatown, Boston Common, and Freedom Trail. Easy access to public transit and a nearby grocery store was clutch for grabbing snacks and drinks. Room size is decent and staff was very informative on check in. Free clam chowder was a surprise bonus. Pool still closed due to COVID. I'd say the only thing I found annoying during my stay is that there are two elevators you need to take. One to get to the lobby and another to get to the rooms. Overall rooms are clean and maintained, however feel a bit dated and dark at the same time. Hotel attracts a number of flight attendants/pilots and conference goers. All in all location is what's best about this hotel. Right in the middle of all the action and plenty of options for food and attractions. 'Til next time, cheers!

I chose this location for a recent work trip because of it's central location. It's a short walk to Boston Common and Chinatown. It's also a straight shot to Hynes Convention Center, walkable at 1.5 miles, and easy on the T (subway system) if it's not walking weather. The thing I love about Boston is how everything is connected, and if there's weather outside, it's pretty easy to stay indoors using connecting tunnels and bridges. You can get to the red and orange line (Downtown Crossing) from the hotel without ever going outside (go through the back elevators to Macy's, then down one floor to the subway entrance). Staff here are great. Everyone at the front desk and restaurant were very pleasant and personable. The housekeeping staff were super chatty with each other, making it kind of loud at times, and kind of standoffish at first (didn't really acknowledge me when I would say hi passing by), but they were very nice to me when I approached them asking for more towels. Rooms were neat and in good repair. They had a table and couch instead of a desk, which was good for getting some light work done in the hotel.

What runners came back to after the race - staff all congratulating us. So lovely

Perfect base to run the Boston Marathon - close to the Expo and finish, special decorations around the hotel, plus pasta dinner the night before if you don't want to walk to the North End. Staff could not have been nicer and more supportive. Wonderful celebratory reception when stumbled back post race - staff clapping/cheering, plus restorative hot drinks & bananas. Thank you so much to everyone at the hotel for making my 6th Boston as special as the spectacular weather we had.

I stayed here for work and the room was spacious and felt clean. They offer you free clam chowder every night you stay but I didn't get a chance to try it out. The only thing I didn't like about the hotel is how you have to take two elevators to get to your room. But on the other hand, I can see how it's a level of safety too. The walls are a little thin so I did hear the person next to me. The staff here are super nice especially Anthony and Ocho who sit at the street level front desk. They gave me food recommendations and greeted me whenever I would come back.

I was very unsure which area to stay in, but I'm so happy I chose CCB because the location is absolutely perfect. Back Bay is very nice and safe. You even have a wonderful park just outside the doorstep to walk around, and the lovely Boston Commons only two blocks away. Check-in/out was one of the most seamless experiences I've had with hotels/airbnbs. I didn't have to check in with anyone, and I received the door code a few days before. They have a lovely dining room for guests with homemade cookies, fruit, coffee and tea. Unfortunately I didn't take advantage of the breakfast, but I'm sure it's great too. CCB is really the perfect mix of a hotel and bed/breakfast. I was unsure about doing the solo room with a shared bathroom, but other than having to wait for the other guest to finish his shower so I could take an urgent bio break, it was no issue at all and I would hands down do it again. I'm pretty sure the other floors have a bathroom if you absolutely need it though. For the location, price, comfort, and amenities, College Club of Boston is a no brainer. I got the please to quickly meet the GM on my way out, and she is super sweet. I even left my airpods in the room, and without hesitation they are shipping them back to me. 5 starts forsure.
