First time at this location, been to the Newport location once before with good results. Long story short, drank a wee bit too much the night prior, and woke up the next morning...told myself "nope, not going to feel this way today...I'm getting an IV!" Went for their "deluxe" Hangover detox...two liters of fluids, mixed with pain med, antioxidants, vitamins, stress relievers. Once you are all hooked up, you relax in their comfy lounges and hangout for 30-40 min. You will begin to feel almost instantly better. While it does not fix exhaustion from a night prior, it pretty much completely eliminates all physical symptoms of a hangover. I came by this place to gain information after I was referred by my friend Togo here for a "jet lag cure." I get really tired and sick feeling when I travel and I have a flight coming up so I wanted information. The lady at the desk was nice but she didn't have much knowledge of the information. She referred me to the nurse. When she came out she was the rudest nurse or employee for that matter that I have encountered. I simply asked about the regimen asking how long prior to leaving for my trip to come and how long after, and she simply couldn't give me a good answer. Instead In a rude tone she said "I don't know like two days before or something" I then asked what was in the package that she was going to administer in me and she said "I can't tell you that information" I asked why and she said "because you could be a competitor trying to get the formula." Uhmmmm okay... so not only was she rude but she is accusing me of poaching their business??? I then said, I don't feel comfortable letting you put something in me because I have had bad reactions to over the counter medicines and vitamins before and I just want to make sure that doesn't happen again. Her response to this was "I've never met anyone who was allergic to these vitamins before and if you have a bad reaction I can give you a shot that will help you breathe" uhmmmm okay... that sounds pretty scary to me. My last question to her was does it hurt? She responded giggling saying "you are a grown man I've had kids do this and I'm sure you are tougher than them." I then proceeded to say I understand I just don't like shots much and she said laughing "yeah whatever." As I left I then asked if I could possibly talk to the doctor in private about my medical concerns so I can feel better about going through with the hydration and she said "he doesn't come here. You can email him but it will likely be me or another nurse answering his emails anyways because he doesn't have time to do that." For me, this statement was the last straw. I simply can not feel comfortable going through with this without being able to at least seek proper medical guidance. I can't consult my physician because he will not know what's in the package and the only doctor who knows what's in it who can give that guidance to me is the owner and apparently he won't answer my email anyways! So... this was a no go for me! I still may look into it elsewhere but I'm not gonna lie this was a scary experience after talking to the nurse and realizing how much this business is not taken seriously by the medical staff. Went here in order to get their Jet-lag IV treatment. I made an appointment online but when I arrived I had to wait 10 minutes due to them being short on staff that day. The nurse was very friendly and attentive. I started feeling better almost immediately after the IV started. It's a little pricey but in some circumstances it's worth it. There are many times when having a cold is a time to realize that your body needs a break and rest. There are other times when life is just too busy to take the needed break, if you don't want to douse yourself with over the counter meds leaving you feeling wired, drowsy...but would rather support your body in the healing process...the hydration room is key. Thanks for a very easy and pleasant first experience with IV nutrient hydration today. I drove by the Corona del Mar location and called to see if they had any openings that same afternoon. Luckily, they were able to work me in as the last appointment. Nurse Tessa was very patient and informative. IV placement was quick and painless. I got the Wellness drip & it took about 40 minutes. Toward the end, arm was getting sore and itchy. The nurse gave me a warm pack to place on my arm and it felt better right away. After, I felt alert and like my vision was very crisp and colors were brighter. Not sure if it was the effect of the vitamins in my system, but it was noticeable enough to report. Great experience today at The Hydration Room. After a busy weekend of soccer games, the "Fitness Recovery" IV worked like a charm. My brother was feeling very sick this morning and after he received the "Cold + Flu Remedy" IV, he said he doesn't feel under the weather anymore and has a lot more energy. I had the NAD+ IV on Friday to help with my Lyme issues while in town from Texas. Brian was really helpful and attentive. The injection was totally painless. That particular IV took about 3 hours which went by quickly in their serene office. I had some nausea during the IV which Brian promptly managed. The NAV+ is pricey but well worth it. It significantly helped my cognitive Lyme symptoms and I am still feeling the benefits of it today. I will definitely return the next time I am in town. read more

I love this place. They have the best infusions for a quick pick me up or after a hard work out. Their memberships are reasonable if you plan on coming once a month, and are relatively easy to cancel. My only complaint would be that I don't think it is safe to have the IV bags hanging from the ceiling. The poor nurses have to stand up on a step ladder with needles in their hand trying to infuse the bags. It's very dangerous! I get that they don't want a medical atmosphere, but there are plenty of trendy coat racks that can serve as IV poles without putting the nurses in danger. read more
