This place is amazing. My daughter suffers from IBS and becomes severely dehydrated and can't keep food down. She becomes very weak, light headed and nauseous. I bring her to the Hydration room when she has a really bad flare up. The GI Cocktail helps rehydrate and helps with her nausea. It keeps her out of the ER and away from the other patients who are sick and contagious. This is a safe way to help her and get her what she needs. Not to mention no ER bill and waiting in the waiting room for hours on end. Everyone is so nice and the nurses are amazing. They take such great care of her and they really understand what she needs to help her recover from this disease. I highly recommend! read more

Today was my second trip to the hydration room. I got back from a 3 week European trip last Sunday and have had lingering malaise and a general feeling that Ive been fighting a bug. So I decided to treat myself to some hydration. The nurse was fantastic and helped me to pick which treatment would be the best for my recovery. The gal working the front desk was also lovely and very helpful. I felt safe and well cared for. I was even given a blanket when I mentioned the AC. I walked into this place with great expectations! I heard about it from a few friends, and was excited to try it out. Unfortunately, I didn't get to enjoy the benefits of their service. Their front desk person is lacking in their customer service skills. Even if the place is already booked, you could have taken the time to explain services, offered alternative treatments, or offered to schedule an appointment. I seriously would have jumped on that. I was even considering their frequent service option, but I don't know if I even want to try it now. I was basically pushed aside so they could help the person behind me. My mom and I came here for a treatment for an immunity booster. I didn't do it because I was nervous but my mom did. I wanted to watch the first time. The treatment itself went okay, she said it didn't hurt much and the time passed by smoothly. However, I just didn't like how rude the staff is here. When you are paying a good amount of money for something you would think there would be better customer service. The woman working the counter seemed like she didn't care much about us, being that she was on her phone while we were asking questions the entire time. This wasn't the worse part, the nurse has the WORST bed side manner. She was absolutely rude! I came at a fairly busy time, but that's still no excuse to not answer the questions we had prior and post treatment. We seemed more like a number not like a patient. Again, the treatment was good and my mom felt great after but this may not be the place to go for it. There are many other places to choose from. I've been going to the Hydration Room for the past few years and specifically the one in Newport on Westminster St. I'm an educator and was feeling incredibly run down and starting to feel sick so I went in for a wellness IV. The nurse, Danielle, was incredibly friendly, and did her job incredibly well by attending to me and listening to my needs. She also inserted the IV in my arm very quickly and I barely felt the poke of the needle so that was much appreciated because I haven't had that nice experience often. I came in last week to get an IV to cure a hangover after a night out and the nurse had to poke both of my arms before finally getting right. I was bruised on the arm that wasn't successful and was sore for a week couldn't even extend my arm it was too painful. I have received IV therapy from other locations and this is by far the best IV room and the best care I have received. I go to the Hydration Room to treat my extremely rare hearing loss condition. And while the treatment I receive is not a well-known treatment (and most traditional doctors would not explore it), it works. I went to the Hydration Room as it was closer to where I lived and they were not familiar with the treatment or my condition. BUT, they went ahead and did all the necessary research and were eager to ensure they were giving me proper care and treatment. After receiving their treatment, my hearing returned and I had more energy than I had ever had before. Also, the other day I came back from a trip and developed a head cold. I was extremely foggy and stuffed up. I did their cold/flu IV and within 30 minutes I was feeling better. Two hours later, it was as though I was never sick. It was simply AMAZING. Ok, this was about the coolest experience ever! I had been sick for 4 days and it hurt to even walk. I went in and got the cold/flu IV and though I'm still stuffed up (nurse reccomended Musinex which is helping now), my throat is no longer aching and I'm able to get on a plane to Hawaii without fear of bursting my ear drum! I have been competing at an elite level for several years now from Triathlon to Adventure Racing. My training regiments are pretty intense and taxing on my body. My workouts tend to be 1-2 hours and on some days include a workout in the morning and a workout in the evening. Hydration and Rest have to be the two most important things in my training and I tend to not rest enough and not hydrate as much as I should. I have visited the Hydration Room two times now and have noticed an immediate difference in how I feel in my workouts and my rest. On a regular basis I push myself pretty hard in my workouts and tend to struggle in my last set from fatigue. After my 1st visit to the Hydration Room, I not only powered through my last set in my workout, but I followed it up shortly after with a 1 hour session at Radiant Hot Yoga and still felt amazing. I have also slept through the night waking up feeling refreshed. I can attribute this success in my workouts directly to Hydration Room because I have changed nothing in my diet or training other than adding the Hydration Room to my regiment. Dr. Bales and her team are awesome! I travel for work overseas monthly or sometimes twice a month and whenever I do the "Jetlag" bag before or after (I often come straight from the airport to Hydration Room) I can get back on track and on schedule in a snap. The dry air and radiation you're exposed to on 10+hour flights can really make you feel run down, but if I get my treatment prior to boarding it really helps me feel the best I can after I land. There's a "feel good" component to it that really makes a difference. And when I get back? The treatment helps me get back to normal and get a good nights rest even if I'm adjusting from a far off time zone. Oh...and a pre or post-partying trip to hydration room is always a way to stay strong before, during and after the party Dr Bales and her team are also the nicest people you'll meet too! Absolutely LOVE this place! Discovered this gem on July 5th after seeing so many rave yelp reviews. I am SO glad I found it! I initially got the super B injection. It gave me sustained energy that whole day and I really felt a difference in my workout later that afternoon. But what amazed me was the amount of energy I had the day after. I coached 9 Crossfit classes sporadically throughout the day from 5AM to 9PM and I didn't need any caffeine!! So I'm hooked! I've gone at least once a week since then and my current favorite therapy is a combo of the Super B shot and the Stress relief injection. It's a perfect blend of mellow energy and I think my coworkers and boyfriend really appreciate it vs my normal anxious excited self. Also tried the Fitness Recovery IV yesterday- love! I ran the Gladiator Rock 'N Run on Saturday and felt pretty beat up from all the obstacles. An IV later, I feel great! No pain and tons of energy, worth every penny. This place is seriously amazing.
