I thought this would be a good way to kickstart 2022. Went in today not really knowing what to get but definitely wanted a B12 shot. The process was pretty simple. I told the receptionist I only knew I wanted a B12 shot for energy and outside of that wanted to consult with someone. She showed me to a room after filling out the consent forms and the nurse came in. She was really nice and thorough and advised me to get the energy boost therapy with B12 (they just put it in the IV so no additional poking necessary) with taurine (boost for potential weight loss). The IV process was about a half hour so I'd say I was in there for no more than 45 minutes. The entire experience was great and if I feel a benefit from it I'll definitely start going more often! Today I definitely felt more alert and energized. Had little coffee so I know the IV made a difference. read more

My first time getting hydration therapy and I'd say it was a huge success. Everyone was super friendly and I was most worried about them finding a vein given I'm fully sleeved with tattoos on both arms. No problems at all! That was already a huge win!! I have been a client here for several months and have the monthly membership. The office is clean, open, and comfortable. I always make an appointment so I have never had a long wait. They have a large selection of IV therapies and injections. The staff is always friendly and efficient. I didn't give 5 stars for two reasons. This location is a franchise which they did not disclose when I signed up for membership, which means for my monthly free treatment I have to visit this location. This is inconvenient but not necessarily a deal breaker. Reason 2 is that I scheduled an appointment in advance and when I arrived the office was closed with a note that they did not have enough staff. I can understand staff shortages but I find it unprofessional that they at a minimum did not contact people with appointments to warn them. It cost me 45 minutes in unnecessary driving and inconvenience. It was on this day that I learned this office is not part of corporate so even though I was able to get into the HB office I had to pay. For convenience alone I will probably cancel my membership and re-enroll at corporate where I will have more choices in locations to visit. read more

WARNING !!!!! First time trying the Hydration Room in Seal Beach. Front desk help "Shasta B" was very rude and unpleasant from start to finish. When I arrived she did not welcome me. I introduced myself as a new client. She asked for my name and handed me a iPad to fill out my information. Once I completed my information. Sierra the "NURSE" took me into a room to place my IVC ( Intravenous Catheter ) she examined both my medial cubital veins, to see which looked best. Opting to try and place a 20g in my right arm, the catheter wouldn't feed. so she said she would apply a BP cuff ( Blood Pressure ) on my left and use a smaller catheter (22g)! Well there are 2 RED FLAGS here. 1) If you need to place a BP Cuff on a healthy patient in order to find a vein, then you definitely are inexperienced and need more training / education. 2) If you need to use a 22g on a medial cubical vein on a healthy adult ( which, also isn't advisable when administering BOLUS IV FLUIDS.) IN ADDITION to using a SLAM BAG. Also known as a pressure infusion bag to produce rapid administration of fluids IV. Long story short: The Hydration Room left me with many concerns about the operation and performance I experienced. NOTE *** When I donate blood at the Red Cross they use a 16g CATHETER. with no issues!!!! I don't hydrate enough ever so I try to go at least once a month to get a little boost. Everyone is always so friendly and professional. They have so many different vitamins you can add to your hydration bag and are very informative, kind and helpful. Last time I added vitamin C for $55 because I was starting to feel a bit under the weather since the kids are back in school and bringing germs home and sure enough I didn't get sick! This place is a lifesaver and though it can get a bit expensive it's absolutely worth it if you need hydration, energy and don't have time to get sick! It was my first time ever trying an IV. I made the appointment online - there were lots of time slots available. Staff was really friendly and informative. The facility is very modern and clean. I observed the nurse wiping down the chairs after each use. The actual IV only took about 30 minutes or so. They have two TVs to keep you entertained. The entire process was painless and comfortable. So I was in Brazil for 2 weeks and since my return my stomach has been out of sorts. I went to my favorite Indian Restaurant yesterday for lunch ( Bad Idea) and basically pushed it over the edge! I have driven by this place on my way to work so I decided to try it and I'm soooo glad I did! Shim was the receptionist and she got me checked in quickly and Kathy my nurse recommended the Happy Tummy infusion. I was going to write this review a year ago but didn't have time. I used to go to this location often but my last experience was horrible. They were training someone and that lady couldn't find my vein and poked me several times in different places. When she was struggling and poking me, the nurse who was training her just stood there did nothing. When I complained, the other nurse finally took over angrily and found my vein, hooked my IV, but no one apologized. Clearly she was upset that I interrupted her flirting with another athlete male customer. I'm sure there are others who experienced this on that day. With the price they charge, why can't they hire a nurse who's capable of finding veins and professional! I get IV hydration regularly and never had this happen to me before. Great spot to get your vitamin fix in. I tried them out a few times before I committed to a monthly plan. You can go to their happy hour M-F from 9am-11am and get a solid discount. Once I tried them out a few times, I signed up for the three month plan so I can get discounted prices and go any time if day. I go 2 times a month and get the vitamin infusion IV. I love it. I instantly feel very balanced after. The atmosphere and ambience is great as well. Chill/Relax music station on with very comfortable lounge chairs. Great customer service as well. This is the 2nd 5 star review for Hydration Room. I previously had the Immunity IV treatment for a flu I couldn't shake off and the infusion helped me get back to normal in less than 2 days. The 2nd visit was the Stress IV treatment. The calming effects started within 3 hours of the infusion and continue 3 days after. I'm even more surprised at the effectiveness this time since I was stressed but otherwise healthy. All areas of the HR are very clean and staff sanitize the patient IV room after each customer. Staff are friendly, professional, and informative. I referred 3 people to HR and they all had the same experience. Lilly is always so nice and pleasant. Funny if you are ever worried about the 'stick" hurting, don't. With Lilly for sure, she is a master. Never ever feel her insert the needle. I normally love the Hydration Room and frequent the CDM location. Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience at the Seal Beach location last week. The nurse was not attentive and was distracted by the owners who showed up requesting treatments. I had to request the receptionist to interrupt their "meeting" since my IV was had been out for a while and was starting to burn my arm. Other customers in the store had similar frustrations and noted they would not return to this location. read more

I was first introduced to this by my mother who told me this type of therapy would be beneficial to my health and so far it's been working great! Although i'm one who gets anxious with needles, especially IVs since it's in my arm for longer than a normal shot, my experience here was comfortable and reassuring. The nurses here are very good at what they do to make the process fast and easy, especially Miss Lily who has been a great help when it came to doing this therapy the first couple times. Now, I frequently come for an injection when I feel that my immune system needs that boost, you know with COVID and all.
