Came to this bakery because a friend recommended it, overall was super disappointed. As we entered there were 2 homeless men asking for money right at the door. I wanted a slice of cheesecake the way the mexican bakeries make it and was very unimpressed. The top of my cheese cake was full of eggshells. When I called to let them know, she didn't offer to refund or apologize she simply said okay I'll let the bakers know. Also, in my opinion pretty pricey for what you get. We got about four pieces of breads and a half gallon of milk and it was over $15.

The bread is nice and moist and flavorful. Definitely recommend if you want some good authentic Mexican bread.

    I just left.

I came on the 4th of July in to grab something to eat and the lady was making food so I waited For my order to be taken after about 10 minutes of waiting I just left that lady does not want to be working just close down if your employees don't want to work. I work in the kitchen setting she has the grill way low so the orders take longer a flour tortilla doesnt take that long to heat up. In between orders she is just looking around instead of taking my order. Clearly wasting time to go home. Just close for the holiday!

The cake we decided on, was so beautiful definitely recommend !!

Good quality and selection of pan dulce (sweet bread). They have a small restaurant inside with a couple tables. Fast service.

Looks like a traditional Chinese bakery with their decor and set up and heard the front counter lady say their food is more based on the south side of China. Their steam pork buns will always be a favorite. I was lucky enough to walk in when they brought out a fresh new batch so it was still nice and warm when I got home. Dough is sweet and fluffy with their bbq pork filling. For 3.00 a bun, it was quite smaller than I remember. The ratio of the dough and filling was also not as portioned. Some bites you just get the dough. First time having their steam chicken buns and was surprised to see that it was sliced chicken with veggies and a slice boiled egg. This was not it for me. It was like eating a stir fry in a bun. Though this bun was bigger and more portioned than the steam pork buns. This was also my first time trying their Shumai dumplings. The flavor was there. A nice umami flavor. But I was missing the bouncy texture of the meat. And for 4 for 7.00 they were pretty small (compared to the dim sum places). Looking forward to trying other others on their menu now that the menu and signs are easier to see/read.

The restaurant was extremely busy, so I do recommend making reservations ahead of time. The service could have been a little better, but considering how packed it was, it felt more overwhelmed than rude. One thing to know ahead of time: Diet Cokes come in cans, not fountain drinks, so there are no refills. The biggest disappointment for us was the limited menu selection that day. There were mostly sandwiches and not a lot of variety. I ordered the quiche, which ended up needing extra sauces on the side because it felt a little plain on its own. My husband ordered the French toast, and that was actually very good. Ambiance was alright - a little cramped but the live music gave it a touch of class. Overall, I'd still recommend trying this place, just maybe not on a major holiday when the menu is limited and the restaurant is packed. I'd be willing to give it another shot on a normal weekend because I have a feeling the regular menu probably offers a much better experience.
