The customer service was exceptional. Jeremy went over and beyond …read more I was adding more cabinets to my kitchen and looked everywhere for matching knobs . I must have visited over 10 different hardware stores . No one had them . Then I found Rok . They have the greatest selection of hardware and they had the exact same knobs I needed . I was very happy. This will be my store to go to for my future remodels .

We were referred to ROK by our contractor for kitchen and bathroom cabinets. We visited the…read moreshowroom and worked with a consultant to build a layout for both spaces. ROK then required someone from their shop come out and measure to ensure the design would fit and some changes were made. We then proceeded to place an order for the cabinets. Up to this point everything was fine. We had been given the impression that the cabinets would come as modular components that our contractor then would install. We were quite surprised then to receive unassembled cabinets in flat boxes (think ikea). This despite the website (see photo) advertising free delivery and assembly. When we asked the customer service representative Courtney she informed us assembly was not standard but that it was available for an additional fee. Additionally, when our contractor went to pick up the order it was brought out on a pallet and dropped at his truck and when he asked for loading assistance he was refused. We have been trying to reach someone at the business for the last 5 days to try and reach an accommodation . We have left messages for Courtney and Sean but they will not return our calls. Overall a bad experience and I can' even review the cabinets yet.

Someone came out and handed them tickets and then once the tickets were handed out they were told they could leave and come back. Of course the boys left and then returned at 10:30. They had numbers on the tickets and when getting in line to purchase the needohs people were allowed to go in and make Needoh purchases that didn't have a ticket. Which was confusing and on top of that the order of the tickets were not being honored. It was very disappointing. Did they get Needohs yes, but was this event also unorganized and not well thought out 100%. I get that things happen and in cases like this people will be disappointed. It's also okay for Ace Hardware to admit, yeah we messed up. A side note, the Needohs were up priced, they were about $12.99 and the quality of the Needohs were not that great. A lot of inconsistencies and then looking into it more they aren't on the retailer list. All of these things can just be small mistakes and that is all fine but the event itself just seemed unorganized. Not the best experience. I heard they did sell out on overpriced Needohs, good for Ace Hardware.

Great In-Store Service, Terrible Customer Support Hotline…read more I ordered two medicine cabinets from Lowe's because they were in stock (even though they were slightly more expensive than Home Depot). Shipping was supposed to take 5 days, but when the delivery came, I only received one cabinet--the second box was a random piece of luggage I didn't order. Calling customer service made things worse. Abigale was unhelpful, gave contradictory answers about a discount, and hung up on us after we asked to speak with a manager. When I called back, Tina (a manager) still couldn't resolve the issue. Also, be aware: debit card refunds can take 3-10 days, and they won't guarantee any discounts over the phone. On the positive side, the in-store experience completely turned things around. At my local Anaheim Lowe's, Kayah in returns was great and made me feel valued. She brought in the store manager, Edward, who handled everything professionally and gave me a discount for the inconvenience. Bottom line: Store employees like Kayah and Edward are excellent. The customer service hotline is extremely frustrating--skip the phone and go straight to the store.

RUDE STAFF!!! SALVIA IS HER NAME!…read more This is the reason why Lowe's has poor reviews because their fucking staff is so fucking rude. I was standing in the self checkout line when there was one self checkout line with their lights turned on, which means it's working. I asked the staff is that checkout stand working she said yes, but it's not available so we waited a few minutes more. No one was there and I said how come it's not available she said someone is going to come back because they forgot an item. So if that customer is not ready to check out, cancel their whole transaction so that another customer who is ready could use the self checkout stand. That is so fucking selfish of them. Time is money and my time is very valuable too. This is so uncalled for an unnecessary. If the customer is not ready, cancel their transaction when they are ready to pay then start. The girl who was helping her name is SALVIA. Bad, poor customer service. I think she shouldn't be working at Lowe's if she does not like to deal with customers go find another job. You don't have to make a customer look stupid by saying oh just stay in line which I already was. You don't have to state the obvious. Stupid girl.

As for the store itself, it's your usual Home Depot set up. Nothing special about, as they all the same. But this location gets 5 stars for being so welcoming. Literally the worst customer service experience I've had…read more I went in to return a few items. I didn't have my card with me, but I did have my receipt. I requested cash back for the return, and the cashier told me they couldn't do it because they didn't have cash in the register and would have to get it from the back. I asked if they could get it, and instead I was told to go to a different store. I asked to speak with a manager, and as the manager was coming over, the cashier suddenly started processing my cash refund. I didn't come in upset, but that situation was frustrating because they lied, instead of simply trying to help. When I spoke with the manager, Jason, he was being dismissive instead of trying to understand the situation. He kept repeating, "Well, you have your money, right?" rather than addressing the service. I asked for a business card or contact information for someone above the store level, and I was told they didn't have anything available. One that's unprofessional. Two I don't know if that was true. My issue wasn't the return itself. I got my money back. My issue was the lack of professionalism and the way the situation was handled. Good customer service means communicating honestly and treating customers with respect. I understand retail can be stressful, but being rude or dismissive only makes a simple situation worse. They were being rude and egging me on of course I'm gonna be upset.

I experienced the Gen Z stare for the first time here…read more I was there with my mom trying to find shower grout cleaner. I needed some help, so we called over a young male employee. This guy was struggling to get a single word out, and when he didn't understand my question, he went to get help. When he left, he didn't say, "Let me find someone who can help you." He just walked away, leaving my mom and me standing there. I got kind of embarrassed because this guy had just blown us off, but my mom (an angel) reminded me to cut him some slack because this was probably his first job. He came back a minute later with an even younger guy and left without another word. The new guy he brought said, "Hey, this is my first day. I don't know anything about this," and just walked 10 feet away and started chatting with another coworker. I'm 30 years old. I remember a time when you could walk into Home Depot and there would actually be competent people there to help you. This is just another example of the declining standards in this country.
