I had a really positive experience at the Home Depot in Fullerton, and a big part of that was thanks to Bobbie. Like some of the reviews mention about employees going above and beyond, she truly stood out with her customer service. She was proactive, knowledgeable, and genuinely willing to help instead of just pointing me down an aisle. The store itself feels like an improvement from the older location--clean, organized, and well stocked. It can be a little tricky getting in depending on how you enter the parking lot, but once inside, the experience was smooth. Bobbie made sure I found exactly what I needed and took the time to answer my questions without rushing me. First time stopping in at this location. The service was good overall, but the selection was a bit rough as they were out of some of the items that we needed. Plus, we didn't catch it until we got back to the site, but one of the items was a return where someone had put a used item in the new box, so we then had to return and explain the situation and get a replacement one. The value was that of every Home Depot, the prices are pretty much set save the discount areas - those are always worth a check when at a different location. :) read more

I recently went to the plumbing department and they had a great selection in the materials a needed. Especially the associate dedicated to plumbing. Kudos to Mr B. this individual will go above and beyond to help you find anything you need. He's knowledgeable, has a great sense of humor and knows his department like the back of his hand. We rented a dolly, and they guaranteed me it was an appliance dolly, but it wasn't helpful when moving our fridge. We tried to return it, but the lead, Ivan, was kind of rude to us, and it made this experience even worse. He said he is a lead, but honestly, that doesn't make sense because he has bad customer service. If you can't deal with people, you shouldn't work in a place like this. It's Thursday 9:27 PM 17 April I just came from Home Depot placentia I've been loyal at Home Depot placentia california as pro extra member since 2015. The main point of this communication is that I really had a bad experience today on your branch one of your employee which is assigned to aisle 8 electrical wiring is very unprofessional lazy empty head and rude. I been waiting for him for 30 mins according to one of the staff he went on break. So i just patiently waiting for him. When he arrived he was holding this toothpick trying to remove dirt on his mouth. For me that is disrespect and rude, but i just ignore that behavior because i need help on wiring. And my back hurts because originally i also grabbed stuff for my front yard heavy stuff such soil and garden decor stones. Going back this home depo staff with rude behavior told me he was not assign in electrical so he said he didnt know about electrical. He came just cut the wire. Bad experience today. I waited about 30mins in my truck for my curbside pickup, had to go inside, because I called and no one bothered to answer the phone... Mind you, there was NO ONE other than me... My order was for a single SKU, not complicated. Not only that, but the guy who loaded, not only just tossed the bags in the back but took the liberty of taking my tarp that I deliberately put down in the bed to put the salts bags on top of, and pushed it to the side I put it there to protect my brand new truck bed, but I didn't catch it until I drove down the road and it nearly flew out the back, this is the true meaning of jealousy... horrible. read more

In late March, I went to the Home Depot Millworks department for information on a new security screen door to replace the current one at my residence. I spoke to one of the employees in the Millworks department, and they told me to go look at the different models on the floor. I found one that looked like the current one outside my front door. The style was Arcada Marx, and the associate told me that someone would need to come over to my residence and take measurements of the current security screen door. They also said that the cost would be $40.00 and that money would go towards the assembly of the new purchased door. I agreed and paid the fee and the following day someone called me to schedule an appointment for the measurement on April 3rd. On April 10th, the employee who helped me got back with the correct measurements of my current screen door, and called me. They said that the style of Arcada Max wouldn't work due to the door is two to three inches larger than my current door frame. The Employee did e-mail me about seven different styles, and my wife and I pick out one of those and I let the associate know which one we both liked. Two days later, I received an e-mail from Home Depot with a quote attached in a PDF file. I called the employee and asked them if the security screen door locked from the outside and inside of the door since the photos looked like the door only locked from the inside. They told me that the one I selected only locked from the inside. I told them about my current door and e-mailed him photos of the door which locks from both the outside and inside and they were going look into my request. On April 25th, I e-mailed the employee and asked them what the status was with finding a security screen door that locks from both the inside and outside. The following day, the employee e-mailed me and apologized for the silence since they were out for three days and that they were unable to find a replacement for the existing door system. In addition, they sent an email to the installer with a request to review some doors that are close to the call-out size, and if he might be able to make a modification. They were hoping to have that information that afternoon. As soon as they had an answer, I would too. I waited for a week and didn't hear from anyone at Home Depot, so I decided to go to Lowe's. The employee at Lowe's helped me with finding a security screen door that locked from both the outside and inside and they suggested that someone from Lowe's come out to measure my current door which I agreed. The measurements were the same as the Home Depot ones and I went to back to Lowe's to purchase my new door. After talking with the employee again, they were puzzled why Home Depot couldn't even find a door which locked from the outside and inside, and I told them that "Home Depot lost a huge sale." I'm extremely disappointed since I always shop at the Home Depot. I choose to since I worked at the Depot during my college years, and I still have my stock I purchased when I was an employee. read more

"Aron" Watched the customer in front of us purchase his items, reached down and picked them up off of the counter and bagged them himself. No communication from the cashier... We pushed our cart to the cashier, no interaction at all , he scanned my item while it was still in the cart. We paid by credit card, and were handed the receipt. This review is for the Flooring Dept and Carpet Pros- We had a consult for carpet for our house done & we had four bedrooms and a living room that we ended up getting quoted for. We decided on the top tier carpet which was so dang soft and plush. It was also rated stain resistant and great for pets. We have two golden doodles and although they don't shed, they are indoor dogs and spend the majority of their time in our living room. We had a good experience with the consult but the installation was not very professional. Whoever carpet pros contracted out to do the job were unprofessional. The installation was amazing but they were smoking outside of my house. My father in law was extremely hospitable to the installers and offered water and soda to them. During their "lunch break" in front of my house my father in law saw two of men smoking which made him uncomfortable. Please have to common decency to leave the premises if you decide to smoke. Even going down the street would have made much more sense. I just wanted to voice my concern as this would have been a spectacular experience if they had just had a tiny bit of common sense. read more

You'll have to undo the charges with Home Depot because it is "not their problem". Lines were slow because of customer self-checkout bungling. The loss of efficiency, increased potential for inventory loss, and the need for so many employees to assist at so few open consoles make the use of self-checkout consoles absurd. read more

If you know exactly what you need then this place is fine, exactly like any other. But I never go here if there's even a shadow of a suggestion that I'm going to need anyone to help me since I know that will lead to doom (even worse, spending more time than I need to be there). 11/11/2020 But and bolts became nuts and bolt with a few washers What I don't understand is when I am looking for a nut and bolt to fix my pruning shears, one package has three locking washers, two nuts, and one bolt. This is almost like going to the supermarket buying a pack of hot dogs and hot dog buns. The numbers don't match. The other thing that bothers me is the guy that is in charge is the aisle walking by not even asking is I need any help looking for something. Manager who does not care and an offensive Treager sample employee. They have a free Treager tent with hotdogs to sample the three different Bar-B-Q sauces. I stop by ask what they sampling use the tooth pick and pick up a one inch piece of hot dog and taste a sauce. Before I even have a second sample the girl tells me "just so you know you can only have two samples". I said excuse me and she repeated it a second time. I'm rarely here, but it's full of everything you could ever need or want for your home or gardening project. I'm usually here for basic things: paint, nails and screws, cool light bulbs.
