    First time stopping in at this location. The service was good overall, but the selection was a bit rough as they were out of some of the items that we needed. Plus, we didn't catch it until we got back to the site, but one of the items was a return where someone had put a used item in the new box, so we then had to return and explain the situation and get a replacement one. The value was that of every Home Depot, the prices are pretty much set save the discount areas - those are always worth a check when at a different location. :)

    I didn't have time type out a review this past week but I just wanted to get on here to say my experience was great and taller younger dude named Bryan helped me and my dad out in the cement the other week and I'm giving five stars for all the help he gave us and his experience in the department. If you have any questions or are unsure of who I'm talking about please reply and we can figure it out because I want this guy to gain full responsibility for this review he really went above and beyond ! I had him write his name on one of the packs so I wouldn't forget but it's kinda hard to tell.

    Went to Home Depot to buy some places. 1 older gentleman and Kenna were super friendly and helpful! They had good knowledge of plants as well which made buying my 1st plant easier.

    Bad experience today. I waited about 30mins in my truck for my curbside pickup, had to go inside, because I called and no one bothered to answer the phone... Mind you, there was NO ONE other than me... My order was for a single SKU, not complicated. Not only that, but the guy who loaded, not only just tossed the bags in the back but took the liberty of taking my tarp that I deliberately put down in the bed to put the salts bags on top of, and pushed it to the side I put it there to protect my brand new truck bed, but I didn't catch it until I drove down the road and it nearly flew out the back, this is the true meaning of jealousy... horrible.

    I would say the service is lacking, BUT there is NO service. One cashier. "Aron" Watched the customer in front of us purchase his items, reached down and picked them up off of the counter and bagged them himself. No communication from the cashier... We pushed our cart to the cashier, no interaction at all , he scanned my item while it was still in the cart. We paid by credit card, and were handed the receipt. My wife said thank you and the cashier said yep. OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!! I wonder, was the cashier upset that he had to wait on customers instead of us using self checkout ??? The answer is the more of us that use self checkout, soon there won't be any need for horrible customer service cashiers.....

I asked the Ace guy about suggestions and he said, "There are no choices, and you just have to accept the problem." I asked the Manager and she said, "That there is nothing to fix the problem" I asked her if she had a toolbox and she said "No" and a screw wouldn't solve the problem and she got offended when I questioned her further and she asked me to leave. I don't appreciate being disrespected by a manager who is sensitive when challenged and the staff at Ace who didn't want to help me. No one was kind to me at all. Is this how you treat a minority Veteran who serves your country and instead is treated like dirt. The women don't know anything about toolboxes and aren't interested in helping me at all. They show no interest in looking for a solution and claimed that there was none! I wouldn't go to this Ace hardware store where you can't express your opinion, and you have to walk on eggshells! This is a hostile environment where expressing yourself is not welcome. I don't think freedom of speech is welcome as well at this store.

Abigale was unhelpful, gave contradictory answers about a discount, and hung up on us after we asked to speak with a manager. When I called back, Tina (a manager) still couldn't resolve the issue. Also, be aware: debit card refunds can take 3-10 days, and they won't guarantee any discounts over the phone. On the positive side, the in-store experience completely turned things around. At my local Anaheim Lowe's, Kayah in returns was great and made me feel valued. She brought in the store manager, Edward, who handled everything professionally and gave me a discount for the inconvenience. Bottom line: Store employees like Kayah and Edward are excellent. The customer service hotline is extremely frustrating--skip the phone and go straight to the store.

Once the sun gets too strong or the cold rolls in, they'll be coming inside with me. I love browsing their plant area -- good variety, good prices, and the peace of mind of that 1-year guarantee makes it totally worth it. So I put it back and found her one that had rubber gasket inside. So be careful when you buy an item from here. Because some thief probably took what they want and closed packaging . Store employee was helpful and offered me 20% off the tool with missing 17mm. But I decided against it and went to La Mirada location, I did however buy stubby tools and a bunch of HF bags.

You are entitled to complete your transactions with privacy and without being misled into applying for credit. Do not allow them to interact with the screen unless they explain their intended actions and you provide consent. To management, I respectfully request that you cease promoting this particular practice. It is unethical. Please discontinue this behavior. Note also that Home Depot often utilizes an automated response system for addressing issues on Yelp across numerous stores. The reply is nearly identical on all low-rating posts and requests the user to allocate additional time and visit a disguised URL. This does not constitute customer service nor is it appropriate in this context. However, neither is attempting to manipulate customers into applying for credit!
