So I felt the need to edit my original review and give you all a little background on what Bountiful Baskets is. "Bountiful Baskets Food Co-op is a participatory experience. Participants all save a substantial amount of money on healthy food. In exchange there are no employees to guide participants through the experience." Each week, you're able to contribute to bountiful baskets to receive the veggies/fruit/etc that's available. They get the produce from local farmers around the US and also Mexico I believe, everything is inspected for quality and freshness before it is passed on to the participants. There are various pick-up locations around the DFW, the one here in Coppell was the closest one to my house, you can check the website for more information on pickup sites and also to sign up for the newsletter/mail group to receive contribution reminders each week if you'd like. The only way you can receive the produce on Saturday is if you make your contribution online by Tuesday. The website is www.bountifulbaskets.org. Also, you have the choice of volunteering as well as there aren't any employees, everything is volunteer driven. This is one way the Co-op is able to save funding. For $18 I got romaine lettuce, fava beans, tomatoes, mushrooms, eggplant, zucchini, squash, mangoes, apricots, bananas and a honey dew melon. SCORE! This will definitely not be my last time using bountiful baskets for my veggie needs, I love it because it gave me items that 1) I have a hard time picking out myself at the grocery store and 2) I wouldn't have originally purchased so now I can get a little creative when cooking dinner! Plus they have a great website and blog with different recipes and things to do with your veggies - I'm a vegetarian at heart...I just can't seem to give up chicken...or beef....or fish...or.... LOL!

Their thin and crispy crust is the perfect foundation to support and not outweigh those heaping helpIngs of meats and/or veggies. At too many other places a thin crust equals thin toppings, so I'm glad they buck that trend here. Prices are considerably higher than bigger chains like Pizza Hut or Domino's. At just under $26 for a large pizza you can tell that they're proud of their product! But, it also may prevent the more budget conscious consumer (like myself) from ordering more often. This location is strictly carry out or delivery. There is no area to dine in.
