I am so happy to have found this place by my home. I wasn't always a big fan of bubble tea, but this place really changed the game for me. The first time I walked in, I instantly knew I wanted the coconut cream tea. I ordered that with black tea, mango poppers, and egg pudding. I AM HOOKED. It's terrible that I feel the need to go like every other day. I'm so obsessed with this one drink, i'm afraid to try any other flavor! My husband usually gets the boba cream tea with green tea and he loves that as well! To make the experience even better, I really appreciate how kind their employees are. The employees here are so very friendly. It's a small space but between the patio and booths, there's plenty of seating. They have a bookshelf with a few fun games if you're looking for a place to hangout and kill time with friends. The sandwiches (bahn mi) are so good!! I do love me some bubble tea. Columbus (OH) doesn't have the plethora of bubble tea joints around, compared to Houston. Seeing IHB's great reviews on my Yelp search, I couldn't not stop by. Natalie and Jamie working behind the counter were happy to explain the difference between tapioca bubbles, juice bursts, and jelly custard. I narrowed it down to a Taro/Green Tea/Milk ("Cream"?) with extra, extra, extra tapioca bubbles. This one had a slightly weird aftertaste, so not as good as the last taro bubble tea I had a few weeks ago in Columbus. Had coconut hints, but an off taste. I absolutely love coconut, so I'm not sure what was the culprit for sure. read more

Today was our first time here and we ordered 3 drinks (2 were the same). The Thai tea was good- sweet, bold, and medium-brewed tea strength. My almond cream tea tasted powdery and really light. I did not taste any green tea but only this overwhelming powdery almond flavor, it was decent but not satisfying. We got all the beverages less sweet and with less ice. For the price, quantity, and good customer service, it's worth a second trip to try some of the other beverages here. We ordered a mango drink we saw on the paper menu taped on the counter and ended up getting a different mango tea than I was expecting. I told the girl I wanted the creamy one and she said that's not what I ordered and listed about 4 different options I wasn't given when I first ordered. She was super nice and asked management if I could exchange it but they said no and even showed me the sign that says no returns or exchanges. She politely asked me to try it to see if I liked it before buying another one. I tried it, didn't like and purchase the one I actually wanted. The cashier was super nice and polite, but management should be a little more understanding. If you order from here make sure you tell them EXACTLY what you want before paying, some of us are not that familiar with all the different variations on flavors, and if you only give us two options we're going to assume those are the only ones. read more

I come here whenever i am in the area. This is a great small boba place with some awesome staff. They will try and do their best with any requests you have which is what really sold me. So I gave this place a second chance and was once again disappointed. Worse than the first time. I ordered three different drinks, and yes one was matcha green tea (I don't want to give up on this as this is my favorite drink), one was a peppermint tea and another one I can't recall the name. Two out of three drinks were super bitter. The two hot drinks were not even hot. I poured it on my hands and did not hurt me at all. Made me wonder what the cup sleeves were for. Not wanting to waste my money, I brought it home and warm it up adding 2 packets of stevia. Still did not get rid of its bitterness. By the 3rd packet I gave up and poured it down the sink. Are all I heart bobas the same?? I've been to one location and thought it was pretty decent but recently been to this one and the one on 529 and it was just terrible. I didn't want to be rude so I never wrote a review but the drink and food here today was just gross as well as the service. First off, the banh mi is way smaller than it use to be, I had my old pics to look at for comparison and it is definitely thinner too. Secondly, I asked for it to be toasted but it wasn't and was cold, barely any flavors and no mayo or pate? Third, the drinks were too sugary and when I asked for it to be fixed they said no they already made it lol ok really. I got a milk tea, avocado smoothie which have no avocado taste, artichoke nuoc mac and a cantaloupe cream tea and all were too sweet (I only asked for the cantaloupe to be fixed though, ONE drink but apparently they can't). I asked what they use for the drink and they said they don't use tea even though it's in the name but a type of cream to make it lol you mean cantaloupe powder? **Edit** I've tried all drinks listed above at this location except for the artichoke nuoc mac which was at their 529 location. Yummy boba, cute location and loved the decor and cool ceiling. Didnt have to wait too long on the drinks, and the service was good. The only thing I didn't like was that there was trash and empty cups left on all but the table we sat at. I noticed a father and son looking around and ending up sitting on some chairs in the middle of the place that didn't have a table, though to be fair they did end up taking their drinks to go. All the staff here are so friendly! Every time I visited I Heart Boba, I would try a different smoothie and all of them tasted good so far. I can't say the same for the milk teas as I haven't tasted any of them yet. My personal favorite is the red bean smoothie because no other boba shops seem to make it taste as good and natural as it is here. Maybe in the future I will try a milk tea and will update my review, but for now I would recommend it! read more
