Such a cute little themed restaurant, I felt like I just stepped foot into Pop's Diner from Riverdale or something! The portions were pretty big, so I would definitely recommend ordering family style. Their menu was also very extensive, and had every possible breakfast food you could think of. We were the only ones there on a Friday morning, and the staff came to check on us frequently and helped us with recommendations.

This place is SO cute! I had ordered from here for office breakfasts previously and the catering was always delicious and the food here is always consistently good in the restaurant too. They have so many neat pancakes to try. And I have tried a lot of them, lol I think the only one I didnt love was the strawberry cheesecake. The traditional breakfast is very good too with plain pancakes. My only gripe is the Decaf coffee I think is instant. It comes out a very light color compared to the regular and refills come from the kitchen in a new mug not from the pot like the regular. The guy working is always friendly and service is good!

My party of 4 arrived here at shortly after 9am last Saturday, and the restaurant was partially busy already. The restaurant had bright colors with fun art decor on the wall that puts a smile on my face when looking at it. There is a small corner by the front entrance with a jukebox (unsure if its functional), pin ball machine and claw machine along with a stack of pancake and coffee cup structure. A good corner for photo op. There is also outdoor seating as well. We ordered the following: 1. Mediterranean Omelette 2. Eggs Benedict 3. Pancake Combo 4. Western Omelette The portions were large. The pancakes were yummy tasting moist and buttery. A decent American breakfast restaurant with LOTS of options for pancakes, crepes, waffles and french toasts. Honestly, I was very overwhelmed with the menu and wanted a bit of everything because who doesn't love breakfast thats like dessert? I really wanted to try the pumpkin pancakes but the it would have been too much and I wanted eggs as well. Service is good though I dont know what the server's name was as he did not tell us. He checked in on us often for coffee refills and he met our requests promptly.

Since I've only had delivery here (thus far), I can't vouch for an in-person dining experience. This review is strictly for the food. I was ELATED to see multiple vegan options on the menu. Extra bonus points just for including choices that cater to my silly-hippie-food needs. I ordered the vegan skillet, and apple juice. I had to laugh at the huge slices of unmelted vegan cheese, sloppily plopped across the top. Vegan or not, cheese should be integrated into dishes. Daiya shredded cheese (vegan) would have been a better choice, or really, anything besides full slabs. Perhaps even shred these squares? Aside from the awkward cheese situation, the skillet was tasty. Potatoes were perfectly cooked, and flavor delivered. No complaints about the apple juice, either. I'll definitely give I Heart Pancakes another try: it just needs to grate to be great.

It's in the Albertsons plaza, close to UCI. Had a hankering for some pancakes and decided on this place. Ordered a chicken fajita omelette, which came with a side of pancakes. Chicken was under seasoned and this seemed more like scrambled eggs with the stuff just thrown on top. Didn't really have an issue with that, just was OK. Salsa was runny, not chunky, and didn't add a lot of flavor. Pass on this omelette. Pancakes were fine - standard pancakes. They give you a tiny syrup mug on the side. The service was pretty bad. While everyone was polite, it was clear they were severely understaffed on a Sunday morning. It took time to catch someone's attention to actually place the order, and then waited a good 20 mins more to get food.

This is such a cute place for breakfast! They have a lot of fun and photogenic decor and plenty of tables. The staff is friendly and service was quite efficient. We ordered the crepe combo, nutella french toast, and a side of house potatoes. Crepe Combo- We got the swedish crepes with lingonberry butter and preserves. The crepes were soft and chewy and the butter and preserves were delicious! I don't get this flavor often so it was good to try. The side of bacon was meaty and crisp. The hashbrowns were beautifully done. Nutella French Toast- You get thick pieces of toast dipped in a custardy batter. I love how it was nicely browned on the outside but stayed soft inside. The nutella topping was generous and you get a variety of fruit to give a freshness that balances out the sweetness. House Potatoes- Probably one of the best house potatoes I've ever tried. It was crisp with a soft interior and so well-seasoned. You get so much flavor that ketchup didn't seem necessary. Very tasty! Great experience overall!

I ordered the apple pie pancake stack and I was thoroughly impressed, 10/10! The pancakes were so airy and light and there were refreshing apple pieces scattered throughout the pancakes. On top, there was apple pie filling. I'm not even a sweet breakfast person, much less pancakes, but this place definitely made me reconsider my tastes lol. My only issue was with the service as there were only 1 other group in the restaurant when my friend and I sat down and it took almost like 30 min for our pancakes to arrive. There was only one person working in the front so maybe that's why but I was a bit disappointed with that.

With so many different restaurants in the breakfast scene in Irvine, this one seems to have lost in the shuffle. If you're looking for quick, no hassle place to dine and semi on the go when you need breakfast, iHeart pancakes should be on your list. Located across the street from UCI, we stop by during breakfast hours on a weekend and it was moderately busy. Once you enter, there's a pinball machine, a claw machine and a jukebox, definitely setting the atmosphere for this place. We ordered Country fried steak, breakfast and a corn hash with eggs and hash brown. The order came out in 25 to 10 minutes and it was everything we needed, a quick bite to eat while on the go. The country fried steak runs crispy on the outside and tender in the middle. A hash brown was equally delicious, although the eggs (scramble) was a bit dry. I took a bite of the corn hash, as well, and it was hearty and a bit salty for my liking. Service was prompt and they were very helpful in every respect. Definitely a good place to start for a lazy Sunday or when you're looking for a quick bite. Did I mention that they open late as well? You don't ever see that in Irvine. Located in the Albertsons Plaza across the street from UCI as mentioned, so when it gets busy, parking could also be a challenge.

Ooh, a new local spot for gluten free pancakes! (Regular pancakes too) We came in around 4:30 pm on a weekday and service was quite leisurely, but I'm guessing their staffing levels were low at this odd hour. I'd like to try again at a more normal time! I also want to come back when I can try their selection of boozy milkshakes. So fun! The pancakes are super fluffy and delicious with a variety of toppings. Someone here is definitely a Swiftie because we were delighted to hear multiple TS tracks during our meal. Love it!

    Little Heart's Pancakes

I Heart Pancakes is described as a "casual daytime eatery serving breakfast favorites, sweet crepes & American comfort food." We came for breakfast, but I was surprised to discover their menu also offered lunch, dinner and late night options. Can you believe they're open from 7am-2am seven days a week??? My daughter ordered the Little Heart's Pancakes which included scrambled eggs and choice of one bacon or sausage. She was a bit under the weather, but she seemed to enjoy her meal and the hot chocolate she washed it down with. I went with my tried and true breakfast choice - Corned Beef and Eggs Combo which was served with 2 eggs any style, hash browns and choice of pancakes or toast. Pancakes were thick and fluffy and the rest of my entree was just as delicious. Prices are reasonable and service is both warm and attentive. Like their tagline says..."Come for the love, stay for the stacks."

Extensive menu with both breakfast and lunch options. We got the banana but walnuts which had a super cute heart on it, and the German crepe (not pictured). The German crepe came with lemon butter and an orange marmalade and it was one of the most interesting tasting crepes I've ever had! I didn't eat the sausage but my boyfriend said it was the best breakfast sausage he'd ever had. The interior is very cute, with heart-themed movie posters, big red hearts decorating every corner of this place. I would definitely come again!

If you truly heart pancakes like I do you neeeeed to check this place out!! Came here last night around 9 pm, I had been looking through Yelp, for a place that served pancakes and also dinner food, and was open late bc we had a movie at 10 pm, this place is open until 2 am! I ordered the strawberry cheesecake pancakes and my husband got the deluxe breakfast. These were honestly one of the best pancakes l've ever had, super fluffy and delicious. They have a lot to choose from but fruit toppings are $3 each if you add them on separately. I will say that for what does come with these specific pancakes, price was a bit steep $14 just strawberries & strawberry syrup) but the pancakes themselves were so good I don't even care. As for the spot itself it is decorated cute inside, it's in university center so there was a lot of younger people there also. There are tvs playing sports, and in general the vibes were good. Also our server was really great and attentive, and gave us recommendations. As well as another young lady that brought out the food. At the end when we were checking out our server gave us these cute pens! We will definitely be back and I'm glad I found this place.

The food here was excellent. Fresh and really flavorful without being overly heavy or bland. I got turkey bacon and sausage which had a clean taste. OJ was also nice. Service was attentive.

Had to opportunity to check this place out prior to our trek back to NorCal, immediately following AYCE shabu, and I'm glad I didn't pass up on the opportunity, given that my stomach has seemingly reached full capacity. As we entered, we were gifted the pleasure of a warm greeting by a staff member who then sat us down and gave us first-timers a brief overview of the menu, his recommendations, and a brief history lesson about the origin of Fluffy Fluffy. After some waiting, we were presented with three aesthetically pleasing plates of these highly hyped fluffy pancakes. I then grabbed a knife and fork to cut into the stack of pancakes and was astonished by how... for a lack of better word, fluffy they were. Upon first bite, I expected a rush of sugar to register after a few seconds of chewing. However, that sensation never came. The pancakes were just the right level of sweet. A few minutes later, the plates were completely cleared and I was back to suffering from again reaching full capacity and thought to myself, "when will I ever learn?". I finally had a chance to eat a very late breakfast on a weekday at their restaurant located at The Bluffs shopping center. The interior is about the smallest of any Aloha Stacks I've been to. While there are minimal tables indoors, there are many under a huge covered patio to the side plus a few more tables under umbrellas in front. It was nearly noon and I had no problem finding an indoor table after ordering at the counter. I ordered a plate of regular French toast with side containers of coconut syrup along with a serving of Portuguese sausage and an iced mocha latte. My food and drink were delivered to my table in a few minutes. By the way, all the staff here are so cheerful and helpful! My French toast was done perfectly - 3 pieces cut in half. Although it's not on the menu (I guess it's a secret item), I always ask for coconut syrup when I order French toast or pancakes. It comes very creamy in the containers but once spread, it semi-liquifies into a syrupy consistency and is DELICIOUS! Be sure to ask for it and give it a try. I am a huge fan of their Portuguese sausage. It balanced the sweetness of my French toast and has excellent flavor with a hint of spiciness. The iced mocha was good with a strong chocolate taste, more so than coffee. I've loved every meal I've had at different Aloha Stacks locations and this one is no exception.

Because our group was so large, I couldn't sample or photograph every dish, but here is my breakdown of the items ordered near my end of the table: 01. Arugula Salad (half) $8.00 - 3 Stars - Light and exceptionally simple, topped with red onions and parmesan cheese. Frankly, it was a bit too simple, the dressing was entirely unmemorable. 02. Prime Rib Dip $25.50 - 3 Stars - This arrived looking very promising. The fries were perfectly crisp, and the creamy horseradish packed a powerful punch (it will definitely clear out your sinuses). Unfortunately, the thinly sliced meat was slightly overcooked, dry, and a bit chewy. While the au jus was flavorful, I've definitely had better prime rib dips elsewhere. 03. Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich $20.50 - 2 Stars - This was the biggest disappointment of the lunch. It looked great initially, but hiding a layer of mashed potatoes underneath the chicken was a strange choice that made the bottom bun instantly soggy. The chicken itself lacked crunch, likely because it was completely doused in what tasted like standard Frank's RedHot sauce (tangy and vinegar-forward, but not actually spicy). No wonder there are barely any photos of this online; I wouldn't order it again. 04. Lobster Roll $32.00 - 3 Stars - Beautifully presented with large chunks of lobster and a side of sweet potato fries. However, at this price point, it felt overpriced for the portion size. The flavor was a bit bland and lacked a "wow" factor. While I appreciated the use of butter lettuce to keep the roll from getting soggy, the lobster meat didn't actually fill out the bread end-to-end. On the bright side, the butter sauce was quite good. 05. Creme Brulee $12 - 3 Stars - A very standard crème brûlée with a decent portion size. It was served completely chilled, which threw off a few of my colleagues. While it's traditionally served chilled, some places serve it closer to room temperature, so this really just comes down to personal preference. 06. Fresh Seasonal Cobbler $12.00 - 3 Stars - As a massive fan of cobblers, I was underwhelmed. The berries were cooked down so much that they lost their form entirely, taking on a jam-like consistency. The crust layer was incredibly thin and soggy, making the whole dessert feel mushy. Luckily, the vanilla ice cream helped cut through the intense sweetness, but overall it was just okay. LOCATION/PARKING - The restaurant sits right on the corner and shares a parking structure with Monaco, The Trough, and Izakaya Osen. Valet parking is available, and the restaurant validates for 90 minutes. CUSTOMER SERVICE - The service seems to depend heavily on who you get. While the staff was generally friendly, they weren't particularly attentive, and we constantly had to ask for refills. To be fair, assigning just one server to a party of 14 is a tough ask, this venue is likely better suited for smaller groups. VERDICT - Overall, the menu feels a bit overpriced for the quality of the food. If my team decides to host another lunch here, I wouldn't object to returning.
