I've discovered the secret to receiving your food faster than anyone else: DIY Korean BBQ. The experience is fun, the food is very tasty, and you're not really waiting for your order to make its rounds through the kitchen...because you cook it all yourself! The only caveat is you definitely need to call and make a reservation. Don't expect to walk-in and be able to get the experience, it's often booked and tables are limited. It's slightly more expensive than ordering a single dish on the menu but you get a really good amount of food, in my opinion. This has changed i-Ho's for me completely. It's totally worth it.

Beef ribs.... Gal Bi Bob. It's worth the trouble to try to find this place.

Gal Bi Bob. Was fantastic.... For those who do not know this is Korean beef ribs. let the location scare you. You're not walk by this place by accident. This is a destination location... 5. Star all day long.

The people here are lovely. We came in mid-afternoon so it was in-between shifts for servers, so service took a while. We were not in a hurry. It was my husband's birthday, so we opted for the BBQ, and grilled the meat ourselves. We started with kimchi pancakes and those were quite good. I liked the cucumber salad and the sauce that came with. We had short ribs ( flanken style), pork belly, and bulgogi. The side dishes are great edamame, kimchi, rice, noodles, cucumber salad and sauces. A lot of food! The place is quaint, and parking is in the rear. It was a good experience.

This place was GREAT!! We came in on a Tuesday night before the rodeo. They were BUSY and we were starving but the food was worth the wait and delicious. There were about 3 servers getting drinks and meals out tag teaming the process. We got the Bin Dae Duk pancakes as an app. I got the teriyaki chicken, my daughter got the JaJang Myeon and my wife got the Ramen. We all enjoyed what we ordered and brought our leftovers back to our hotel which we enjoyed the next day. I'd come back here for sure!! Everyone was so nice even with as busy as it was.

Very tasty and cool vibe! The pancakes were delicious and THICK - 4 in total. Definitely more than an appetizer! Can't wait to go back and try other things!

This place is probably the closest you can get for Korean food, but probably hard for them to get those ingredients so there are few changes to the ingredients such as the noodles. The service is great. The beef was little bit on a brunt side and didn't have much meat, the favor was good just not what I'm used to for Korean food. I wouldn't call it an authentic Korean place, but it wasn't bad.

I know this place has lots of raving reviews and I was so looking forward to eating here. I ordered the bul-go-gi-Bob and it was just okay. I'm no stranger to Korean food, both from restaurants and friends, and this lacked the impressive flavors I've become accustomed to. Service was super friendly and the restaurant is simple and cute. The entryway is really cool, recommend stopping and looking at all the pictures and awards.

Our food was delicious! We did not know what to order and the server was very helpful in making a decision. I-ho had passed only 2 weeks before we visited and there were photos and flowers everywhere in her honor. It was very sweet and welcoming it seems as though she was a very highly respected member of the community. We enjoyed our visit here very much. I got the John special and we got the spicy seafood ramen. Both were delicious! Portions were quite large so the value was great. It was not too busy but they had a good crowd and there were lots of to go orders being picked up as well. The table next to us were doing the Korean BBQ which looks amazing! Next time we will have to do that it seems as though guests made reservations for this as there are only 2 BBQ tables.

Happy hour items

I've been to I-Hos a couple times and they never disappoint! This time my partner and I went for their infamous happy hour, which is on Fridays 3-5PM and only $12 a person. The amount of food you receive for the amount you pay is absurd (in a good way)! The cucumber salad was my favorite from everything offered, but runner ups were the Stir-fry chicken and the wontons. The service was speedy; the waitress made sure we were set on refills. Overall, an amazing place and an amazing experience, we will be back!

Tofu donut

Excellent authentic Korean food. Our server was entertaining and would definitely come back again. We had the LA galbi, the Duk-Bok-Gi and the tofu donut for dessert.

Doenjang-jjigae
Lynn N.

Their menu has enough variety so everyone can find something they like. The doenjang-jjigae, soybean paste stew was so flavorful and easily the best meal during our stay in Montana. It was packed with veggies and tofu and was well seasoned. The employees are friendly, even with how busy they were. There are tables of all sizes for groups or individuals. It's easy to walk to from the downtown area.

After a full week of Yellowstone and Glacier Park eats I was really craving asian food. I was walking thru Bozeman main street and came upon this quaint korean place located behind a home (the owners' home I found out later). I was delighted to walk in and see all these printed accolades and articles about them and their food and knew I found the right place for lunch ... and once I saw they serve their food in traditional korean stainless steel bowls and provide stainless steel chopsticks I became giddy and couldnt wait to get my order. The dishes were soooo good and fresh! My husband is korean and I have tasted very authentic korean dishes made by his Mom and I-Ho's dishes are just as good if not better!

Spacious couches and lounge areas mixed with bar seating and smaller high top tables makes this a great spot for groups big or small. Can't imagine any circumstance where a party wouldn't feel welcome here or appreciate the layout. Service was great - all the bartenders dress "on brand" and able to make suggestions while ensuring our drinks stayed as full as we wanted them too (but also totally good with us just being low key) Pro tip: They allegedly have the best grilled cheese and tomato soup in Bozeman, so guess I'll have to go back for that. One downside? They need to change their name! I can NEVER remember it and neither can my friends. Makes it less memorable in a spot that would otherwise be high on the list!

I hate to compare but it's crazy how different two places can be in the same hotel. The service here was abysmal. We came at the end of someone's set and it wasn't that crowded in the bar but almost every single table was dirty, with empty glasses on them. There seemed to be one bartender and another person helping. That person literally just stood there talking to people instead of cleaning up the tables. The bartender was pretty rude too and didn't seem to be into working here at all. The only clean table was by the door and it kept getting opened while the next band set up so we just moved to a table with dirty glassware on it. The drinks were pretty lackluster (especially compared to the awesome ones upstairs). I don't think it was that the menu was inferior to the other, I just think the bartender didn't care. Both my drinks were watered down and icy. Pretty sad for the price to be honest. It got pretty crowded for the second set being played so we decided to leave to let other people sit. I wasn't interested in having another icy sad drink.

We gave them another shot last night and waited 15 minutes to even get approached for a drink, and no one came over. The wait is not that long.. we came here as walk in's 2x on our 1week stay that started in Bozeman, went down to Yellowstone, then to Idaho for UTV riding and then to Jackson Hole WY to go see the Teton National Park. It was nice to walk around the local shops while we waited and then afterwards to work off those delicious carbs. Thin crust pizzas clean, fresh, not heavy and seasonal ingredients. The crust is soooo good. Chewy and some char. We had: Montana Burger Royale My teen son dreams about this. Yes its 27.00 and he said its the BEST burger he's ever had. I would have to agree (and we live in Austin TX where there's great cow) -the burger meat melted in your mouth -the egg dripping as you break the yolk was perfection. The bacon so juicy, the brioche bun (that was the winning touch) We shared: Hot Honey Pizza- so good 9/10 Spicy Burrata- also great. 8/10 Mac n cheese- that was the only miss. Way under seasoned and the white sauce seemed to get sucked up by the pasta so the dish was super dry. 3/10 Frites and Fondue- fries were great. Thick cut with finely shaved pecorino. Could have used a heaping more of the shaved cheese. -the fondue was ok, seemed still under seasoned or just not creamy enough? I'd swap that for some roasted garlic with the truffle oil. 6/10 Local brews and ciders were great! 9/10 Huckleberry Cheesecake 9/10 save room for this bad boy. We split it between 4 people. Not too sweet. Tart and delightful! The world cup was on the TV so it was a hopping place even as it rained during a late June evening. Parking garage nearby is free for 2hrs so thats cool! Main entrees were a bit disappointing: 8 oz Tenderloin Filet @ $54 was cooked a bit more than requested and it came with (2) baked potatoes which we've never seen before (+ $4 upcharge).
