This isn't my favorite pho place but it'll do in a pinch (or when you've been in quarantine for months and are craving Vietnamese food). I ordered egg rolls and a combo vermicelli bowl (bun) to go and the order was ready really quickly. The food was all fresh and super hot (so hot the styrofoam to go container warped in places). The combo vermicelli bowl comes with egg rolls, pork, and shrimp and all were cooked well. The size of the portion seemed larger than I remembered and I ended up with a lot of leftover noodles and veg. My only complaint is that the container they used had sections in it, which made it difficult to mix the ingredients in the "bowl" well, but that was only a minor inconvenience. read more

I've tried a lot of pho places in Seattle and Bellevue, and I was pleasantly surprised by this place! I ordered the Eye Round Beef Pho and my friend ordered the Pork Vermicelli Bowl. Both were very delicious! The pho noodles were bouncy and seemed very fresh, and the meat was tender. The broth was nothing special. I think it could be more flavorful and a little less salty, but overall was still very delicious. The vermicelli bowl makes a delicious light lunch and tastes great with the fish sauce they give! We did have to ask for extra fish sauce because they didn't provide nearly enough. read more

I've dined in about 3-4 times and recently got takeout, and I have always been pleased with the service, quality, and freshness. The prices and portions are a good value, and they are fast. My go-to orders are typically the banh mi with pho broth on the side, phad see ew, bbq pork fried rice, or vermicelli bowl. I've been going to this pho place since I was a kid and I have to say that throughout the many years I've gone here, there has been nothing but great customer service and food! When you first walk in, the place is consistently clean and is very roomy, not cramped or suffocating. When seated, they aren't rushing you and give you the time to look through the menu before deciding. Every time I come here, there's never been a time where the pho tasted oily, greasy or "messy" and you can ACTUALLY enjoy the soup without tasting all the oil! You will be satisfied with what you order and the amount of noodles you get in your bowl is just right, alongside with a handful of meat. The spring rolls are an excellent appetizer when starting out and taste very fresh. In the end, you don't wait long after you ordered your food. Pho was just edible, lots of meat but the broth was not savory, you can tell a good broth by the taste, but also when you put it in the refrigerator it should solidify into jelly, to show it has a lot of collagen. This broth did not. Also Banh mi had one slice of meat and barely any pate. The only thing good about this place was the crab rangoon, which was surprisingly amazing. Wife and I ate lunch here. There was only one other person when we came in around 4:30. We both ordered Pho. She the beef and I the house special combo w/ tripe and tendon. Both were good, veggie plate fresh. I was particularly impressed with the size and quantity of tripe and tendon chunks. Service was quick and friendly. The men's bathroom was particularly clean, something not that usual. The path there was an interesting running of a gauntlet of boxes stored in the hallway. It was good that I'm not larger than I am. The only disappointment was in trying to order fresh salad rolls. Wife does not do shrimp, and trying to get a single order without shrimp in one roll was not a possibility "because the rolls are premade". We found this kind of strange, and I wondered how the premade rolls could be stored and how that would affect the texture of the delicate wrappers. This shall remain a mystery. read more

I was craving for some delicious Phô after work I found just the spot to satisfy my hunger... in the Factoria area that is. Once I sat down and gave my order, the serve brought back my Phô within less then 5 mins, it couldn't be more perfect. I know they have the broth already prepared in the back and they just added the veggie condiments to it. I ordered the Beef Brisket (small size) with a side of chamomile tea. The broth itself was so warm, flavorful and delicious. As for the texture of the thin beef brisket was really good. It was cooked well done and it had little areas of fat in it. However that made all the difference for having more flavor in the meal. I really liked I Love Pho before the "Stay at Home" directive for COVID, but have come to really appreciate them since. They are open during this crisis and unlike many other restaurants, the quality of their food has remained top notch. My wife, kids and I like different things, so it's nice to be able to order a few different things that accommodate everyone in my family. This is tough to do most other places, but we've found a way to make it work here. The items are also packaged nicely to stay hot and crisp for those things that need to stay that way, and cold for the others. The only downside here is that they use a lot of styrofoam in their packaging which I realize is cheaper than compostable packaging but also much more challenging to dispose of. We usually get the vermicelli dishes, the crispy chicken, as well as shrimp and crispy tofu appetizers. All are very high quality! read more

Service was very friendly, but very slow after ordering. Two of us ordered the Vermicelli bowls with grilled pork slices. The pork was definitely not fresh! More like 1-2 days old, dried out. The bean sprouts were not crunchy fresh, not very much. The worst part of this salad bowl, all the chopped lettuce was going bad with the rust colored edges.This is when I dump the lettuce at home. Came here last night because we wanted to find a place near home. I have my favorite spot in Queen Anne, but it's tough to get there from eastside. I needed a vegetarian meal so we found this place because they had vegetarian pho with veggie meatballs. When we entered, there was no one else in the restaurant (currently coronavirus has been circulating in the news). I was tempted by the yellow curry, but was so glad when the server told me the curry is sweet. If there's one thing I HATE, it's food with a sweet base. So I asked for the large pho with meatballs. The server told me the veggie meatballs were tofu based and rather hard. I had a bad meal at the vegan pho restaurant (blossom). Because their "meat" just tasted like dark brown hard sponge. So again, I appreciated his honesty and just asked for veggies. The veggies were pretty "American stir fry" standard : celery, carrots (omitted), broccoli, tofu and onion. I got half tofu, half veggie Broth 2/5 While I appreciate they have a vegetarian section, I'd say the broth was mediocre. It was very basic and didn't have the meld of spices and depth. Sriracha and hoisin on the side totally saved me. My friend got the beef pho and said the same about his broth. I think our standards for broth are just so much higher because of my regular place in the city. I wish I liked this place more because it's so close to us... but sadly have to give this place three stars I did love the servers honesty though! read more

My family has been coming to I Love Pho at least once a week for the last ten years. I have my favorites and have learned a lot about what I like from this place. My family's go-to pho is the classic letter G (it has meatball and beef). It's just simple, authentic, quick, and perfect. It's steady and classic. Also over the last ten years, the same people have been working here and its a true community staple. Other hits are the shrimp vermicelli bowl, all of the appetizers (shout out to the shrimp spring rolls with peanut sauce), wonton and egg noodle soup, and of course the BANH MI. For me, I don't like any of their curries or cooked noodle dishes like pad thai. I just doesn't taste what I expect it to taste like, so I never come here for a curry or cooked noodles. THAT'S OK. Come here for the soup noodle dishes fam. When ordering to-go, I found that my favorites are banh mi, shrimp spring rolls, shrimp vermicelli bowl (I ask for a side of peanut sauce too), and the wonton and egg noodle soup with bok choy. I saw a review about them skimping on the shrimp for the vermicelli bowl. I have had this dish at least 30 times here and I have always had 6-8 shrimp in the bowl, so maybe they had an off experience?? I love I love pho. It's possible it was an off day for this place but the entire experience was subpar and we will probably never be back. The restaurant has low lighting which makes the interior dark. We were seated quickly and just assumed we would order from the menus pasted on the walls. We ordered egg roll, beef pho and chow fun. The food came out quite slowly but possibly because they are short staffed. Everything was a disappointment in terms of flavor and presentation. The chow fun with the thicker cut noodles had no color even though it was supposed to be wok prepared and the taste was a little bland with an almost mushy texture. The egg rolls appeared to be left overs that were dumped in the deep fryer to be warmed up however was cold to the touch. The beef broth for the pho was on the sweeter side, and lukewarm with the noodles clumped together struggling to be cooked however the dish tasted fine and not terrible. The most obnoxious part of the experience was that in a room of empty tables the staff seats an obvious very sick man next to our table where he removes his masks and starts to cough, sneeze and sniff. That was super annoying as I think seating them on the other end of the restaurant would have been the courteous thing to do. This is my preferred Viet stop in Factoria. Always quick, consistent and loaded with work regulars, me included. Besides the Pho, what really shines is the Egg Noodle Soup (Mi Hoanh Thanh), which VERY little pho joints ever really do since it's not a known item, it's my go to whenever I get tired of the Pho.. and boy it HITS EVERYTIME, the fried shallots and homemade chili oil is a match made in heaven. To add, there is the many other dishes offered that are VERY traditional like the Shaking Beef (Bo Luc Lac) and Lemongrass pork vermicelli bowls (Bun Thịt Nướng), very wide selection and difficult to keep up with, but somehow they own it in that kitchen, especially in an area with very little to no Viet population. This once was one of our favorite restaurants. Their pho and all other dishes we tried were very good but recently the quality of their pho and other menu items is very disappointing. We had pho there a couple of days ago and even though the price is much higher these days, decided to order it. Bland. We were there on a Wednesday afternoon and got the tofu curry and the combo vermicelli bowl. Everything in the vermicelli bowl was bland, including the spring roll and the fish sauce. The curry was overly spicy but with chili spice powder that made us cough when we inhaled. Wasn't the typical curry flavor that we were expecting, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but this curry didn't taste good. The vegetables in the curry were also severely underdone. Always a great place to drop into for some very delicious Pho, Curry Chicken or my wife's favorite Coconut Fried Rice w/bbq pork. We recently dropped in when the ground was covered in snow and although the dinning room was closed the owner gladly took our order for takeout and we were delighted to enjoy dinner at home.
