Stopped here on a cold day to grab some ramen. They offer a few choices on their menu. I ordered the shoyu which had chicken, bamboo shoots, noodles and a light broth. The broth was ok but lacked flavor so I added soy sauce and chili flakes which helped. My husband tried the braised beef ramen, the broth had a little more flavor profile. It was sweet in taste and had more additions such as bok choy, corn, and pickled radish. The restaurant is cozy and plenty seating. It was easy to find and offers ample parking at a connected lot. Service was fast so I appreciate that and we had a nice filling dinner here. About $20-25 per person for a meal. read more

I was recommended this place for ages and I finally got a chance to try it and I must say I regret not coming here sooner! We came here on a Saturday around noon, and it didn't seem very crowded but there were a lot of people coming in and out for takeout. I seems like their boba tea is very popular. I'll try it next time. The ambience of the store is a bit bland inside and out. Not sure why but I feels a bit suffocating. But still interesting in way since it's pan Asian. They're combined Taiwanese, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean. Service here was very good. They're very prompt and they give you some bonchon as an appetizer. It tastes like it was made in house because it's not very fermented, which is good for people who aren't used to to standard kimchi. They also have chicken mu kimchi, which is the refreshing radish one. They were also very prompt with refilling drinks and at the end they gave up some honey jasmine tea, which was amazing. I ordered the Angus with the bone ramen. The broth is very reminiscent of the soups I had at the street carts back in Taiwan, but they're much sweeter (I think to suit a more western palate). I don't know terrific food, excellent service, and a casual vibe. I had the Tonkotsu traditional ramen, and some dumplings. The ramen was well prepared, and those dumplings are amazing. When I go back, I could just eat dumplings as an entree! In addition to the standard iced tea that I had, they also serve boba tea, and sake. There are plenty of non-ramen dishes available as well. Came here because the angus beef shank pictures on yelp drew me in! I was not disappointed - the beef is truly fall-off-the-bone. The meat was not exceedingly fatty either so it's certainly substantial. I would guess you're getting a half lb of meat excluding the bone. The broth was a little sweet for me but I came to enjoy it - other than that all aspects of the meal were fantastic. We were in the neighborhood and decided to give this place a try for lunch. We are so glad we did. It is in a shopping center on A1A in Ponte Vedra. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. The inside is very nicely decorated with plenty of bamboo and artwork. They also have a tv playing videos and pictures of all of the dishes, which was nice. In addition to that, they have sample bowls on display of all of the entrees. The music was also nice. The menu offers appetizers, ramen, noodles, poke bowls, salads, and dumplings. Huge and tender beef Short ribs and good enough for 2! Tonkatsu Ramen - Definitely try this! The broth is amazing and the pork is melt in your mouth! Miso Ramen - Same Pork broth but with veggies. and shredded pork. Very tasty! Slowly Beefy (no broth) - Slow cooked ground beef on top of noodles and also includes fried egg. A tad spicy and I liked it! Chicken Wings - Crispy with an hint of ginger flavor! Cooked to perfection! The sauce that came with it was good! Classic Dumplings- Pork and Chives, lots of meat inside. Delicious! Did I mention they serve boba too? Yep and they taste great! According to the owner, they are opening a second location! I'm glad that despite the pandemic, their business is doing well. Wanted to find a new spot to try in PVB since we planned to be at Micklers Beach in the afternoon. I Noodle popped up as an option which happened to be only 2.5-ish miles north of the beach - perfect! We arrived and were promptly seated indoors. Outdoor options are available as well as counter seating. We opted for two poke lunch combos, a spring rolls appetizer and a trio of boba teas (taro, strawberry and mango). There's also a ramen lunch combo available for the same price. The spring rolls definitely lived up to the name: SMALL plate. It was two super tiny spring rolls cut diagonally in half. Think of a wonton size spring roll (then cut in half). I guess I expected something slightly bigger for my five bucks. Anyway, our poke lunch bowls were both very good & loaded with tons of goodies. However, we prefer larger pieces of tuna and salmon pieces. The fish in both bowls were chopped up very small compared to another poke place we visited recently. Regardless, it was a lunch combo portion so perhaps that's why the pieces were a bit smaller. The combo was nicely priced at $10.99 which includes 2 classic dumpling pieces and a side salad. Choice of base - white rice, brown rice or salad. Classic Dumpling are made with Pork, Organic Chinese chives & mixed w. soy sauce. We only saw one team member the entire visit who seemed to be efficiently handling all tables and takeout orders while someone else was working behind the scenes in the kitchen. On a whim, we were looking for a dumpling spot and I Noodle Ramen & Dumpling was the first to pop up, we drove from Sandalwood so we were pretty dedicated to the dumpling hunt. Unfortunately, dumplings weren't a hit for me. We ordered the pork dumplings with chives and it tasted like beef to us. It threw me off a bit and I can't say I enjoyed as much as I would've liked to. They are nicely filled thought with a thin wrapper. $9 for 9 pieces. Dipping sauce is a sweetish soy with tang from vinegar I'm assuming. Entrees, we ordered gyudon and the angus beef noodle soup. Gyudon came packed with bonito sensations that hit me in the face. For $15, this was pretty pricey as there wasn't a ton of beef. Flavor was pretty good and loved the rice soaked in sauce. Slightlyyy too much bonito for me. Husband ordered the angus beef noodle soup. He loved it. The soup has a five spice hit and was nice and clear. Noodles were cooked al dente and had a very nice chew. You get two massive pieces of beef... shank? I believe. I'd say it is worth the $22 tag. He really liked it and said this is how he wants all his beef noodle soups to be like. Restaurant was nice and pretty quiet on a Thursday nice. They have a ton of different foods and there were a few take outs while we were there. Nice spacious seating. There's only one server (owner?) and he checked in with us a lot and was attentive. We were the only table present so that could also be why but he was very friendly. Happy I asked for chili oil to add something to it and that was a bit better. 6 min egg with the jelly yolk was very good. Prices are also VERY expensive for the product.... After one sip of the broth you can immediately tell that the chef takes their time on cooking as there is a depth of flavor like no other. When I was a little kid, like maybe 2 or 3 years old, I was, well, I'll be the first to admit it, really darn cute. No, really. Why? Because all I could say at that point in my life was, "me boy!" Apparently some nice lady saw me wandering around and tried to ask me my name. I looked at her, a big smile on my face, pointed to my chest and said, "Me Boy!" Not too helpful to the confused lady or to my frantic mom running around screaming for her child. But, eventually my mom found me and I ultimately learned a few more words. Like my name. I always think of that story when I see I, Noodle. A cute and simple little restaurant. Just like 3 year old me. My lovely wife and I have been here a couple of times now, and have had a good meal each time. The dumpling appetizers are very tasty, and the homemade pickled oshinko (vegetables) have a great vinegary tartness and crunch. Definitely worth trying both. The pork buns are good, but I liked the dumplings better. The wife got a poke bowl the last time we were there and really enjoyed it. The fish was fresh and the rice was tender. Me? I like me some tonkotsu ramen. And they do a pretty good one here. Is it the best ramen broth I've ever had? No, but it is a very good. And the pork is tender and tasty. The other veggies in the ramen are all crunchy goodness. I also love the fact that they ask if you want a soft or hard boiled egg in your soup. I'm not a huge fan of runny soft eggs. I'll eat them but I much prefer hard boiled. It's not a huge restaurant, but we have never had a problem getting a table on a weekend for lunch. I'm not sure if they are much busier during the week. Whether you're a cute little boy with a limited vocabulary, an old guy looking for a tasty lunch while running around looking for water and canned spam before a hurricane, or simply someone who likes a good bowl of ramen you need to get to I Noodle! Heading in to try the ramen and dumplings, I was impressed by the amount of foot traffic that this small shop had. When I entered I realized that I knew this place from visits to the former sandwich shop which used to occupy this space. The current owners made a few aesthetic changes to add a little Japanese flair but overall, the space seemed quite similar to the prior restaurant. We ordered pretty quickly and our food came out without much delay. During the brief wait, we munched on the complimentary pickled vegetables. The classic dumplings hit the table first and they were really good - full of pork and veggies. Next up was the fried chicken, which came straight out of the oil. It was hot, juicy, and crispy. The only thing that would've made it better was a sauce drizzled on top. Now, for the main course, we both ordered the tonkotsu ramen. We got hearty bowls of well cooked noodles, a soft boiled egg, veggies, pork belly, and ample broth. The stars of the show here were the pork belly and the egg. That pork was so tender and the brûléed egg was well done. The primary issue here was the broth, which had salt but not much other seasoning. I did enjoy the honey jasmine tea to cool my tongue from that sizzling chicken and hot broth. We enjoyed our efficient dinner here but I'm not sure I'll be back. With the growing ramen scene in the Jacksonville area, places have to really stand out to differentiate themselves and I'm not sure that this place did. But, hopefully it will do well given the scarcity of ramen in Ponte Vedra. read more

Another great ramen place? What country is this? When I saw the shio ramen, I had to order it first. The broth was actually pretty good. Not the best I've had or anything, but it was light without being bland. Additionally, it's got a decent amount of scallions and wood ear. I enjoyed it. However, there were two main things that bothered me. One was that the pork was pulled pork instead of pork belly. Even though I often hanker for a light broth, I still want the strongest umami in my meat, so this was a bit disappointing. The second issue was that the egg was hard boiled rather than a 6 minute egg (soft boiled), as advertised on their menu, etc. When I ordered the tonkotsu broth on my second visit, I was a bit surprised to find a relatively proper ajitsuke tamago in my bowl. Apparently, when they first opened, a few customers complained about the soft-boiled eggs, so they switched to hard boiled. But, naturally, people that understand how ramen eggs are supposed to be served (like me) immediately complained. So now they ask you if you want a hard or soft boiled egg. *tsk* Filthy casuals messing with my food. Anyways, the tonkotsu was surprisingly light. I liked this one too, but for the American customer base, they should probably make the broth more intense. Also important, the tonkotsu ramen does have big and fat pork belly to satisfy my craving. Yay. They earn the dumpling part of their name too. These are some of the best dumplings I've had in town so far, probably on par with the ones at SEASONS. They're made in-house, like any ideal dumpling, and are fried just a tad. They're tasty, juicy and springy. I even like the bed of spinach. Finally, the chicken wings are also fantastic. For wings, I'm partial to a crispy but thinner breading with a creative dry rub, so this hits me right on the bullseye. Combined with their sauce, it's got a bit of mustard flavor, which I also like. This isn't even the only ramen joint with great fried chicken. Off the top of my head, I think I like this more than the wings at Domu or Modu, but about on par with Hangar Bay. read more

We also got the chicken wings as an appetizer. The wings were fresh and hot but not as crispy as they look. The dumplings were ok, the dough was a little on the chewy side but I typically like thicker dumpling shells anyways. The tonkotsu ramen fell short for me. The broth was not as bold and flavorful as I'm used to, it was lack-luster. The egg was cooked perfectly but I found the pork belly to be quite salty. I also did not like that the add ons for the ramen (such as corn) were $2 a piece, that can easily rack up and won't necessarily make up for a mediocre bowl of ramen.
