A young single mother, raising a son with muscular dystrophy, reportedly spent $10,000 on a vehicle that became inoperable within just two weeks. When she returned seeking assistance, she was allegedly told she would need to pay an additional $4,000 for another vehicle rather than receiving meaningful support or accountability. This story, now circulating on TikTok, raises serious questions about ethical business practices and the treatment of vulnerable consumers. Businesses that serve the public have a responsibility to operate with transparency, fairness, and integrity--especially when dealing with families already facing significant challenges. Rather than responding with hostility, the community should focus on lawful and constructive action: documenting complaints, reporting concerns to consumer protection agencies, organizing peaceful demonstrations if appropriate, and encouraging public awareness so others can make informed decisions. Accountability is essential in maintaining trust within any community.

There was a coolant issue that I thought was going to be a nightmare. I can't express to you the customer service that I received!! it started with dwayne Evans, who is one of the nicest people I've ever had to deal with. He basically made sure my car was taken care of Gave me a car to use and then handed me off to joe the service manager who was absolutely amazing luckily for me it was just a small issue that was fixed immediately They took care of me and my vehicle I was going through a horrific time and they took care of me like I was part of their own family I've purchased a lot of cars in my time and dealt with a lot of people, but I have to say this was the most caring experience I've ever had. They couldn't have done more so a big shout out to Nissan clearwater who made my life so much more manageable ! going forward I will only deal with them and only purchase my cars from them. Thank you so much for everything you did I absolutely love you guys.!!!! xo

We got in touch with a sales associate to setup an appointment and it was smooth sailing from the minute we walked in the door. We sort of knew what we wanted and did a quick test drive. When we returned we went over the financials as well as a quote for our trade in. It was a no brainer. Our sales associate along with the general sales manager went through every rebate that Ford was offering to get us the best possible price and they came through. When we met with the finance manager he was very easy to work with and explained everything in a simple manner. He wasn't pushy, didn't try to sell us additional warranties and whatnot. He made sure to tell us about everything that Walker Ford offers and we did, in fact, order the tire warranty, which has already paid for itself. Our sales associate, Amy Potter was terrific. The General Sales Manager, Ivey Thigpen was a pleasure to work with along with everyone we talked to in the building. There is no doubt in my mind that our next vehicle will be purchased at Walker Ford.

Upon arriving, service rep Don informed me they didn't have the part in stock to do the needed work. Said I should have called to schedule, not scheduled through the (official) Ford app so they could have told me if if they had the part or not. I told him people do a lot through apps, and the app didn't say there would be a problem with my appointment or I should call instead. I said the receptionist called to confirm my appointment on 9/1, she could have checked with a service rep or technician to see if the part was on hand and told me to postpone my visit. I dove a half an hour and wasted my time to come to an appointment for them to tell me they didn't have the safety recall part on-hand. I said he should tell his manager the system is flawed. He said he wished it was different, and his manager wasn't there. He then said they won't have the part until 9/21 - if the part even comes in. He said call to find out and schedule an appointment. I said he should call me, so he hesitantly agreed (I felt like I was inconveniencing him) and told me he would reschedule me to Saturday, 9/26 (although I received no confirmation text yet). I told him I never had this problem with Honda and this left a bad taste in my mouth having my first Ford vehicle. I chose Walker's because of the good reviews. I left very disappointed. Got a text message this morning (9/6) saying "sorry" you missed your appointment and I should reschedule. Salt in the wound...
