If I could give this place zero stars I would! BuyCellFix is the worst placed to get your device repaired! All of the employees are very rude and treat you with disrespect. I had to come back in to get my iPad fixed after every time they gave it back to me because something was wrong with it. Every time they gave it back to me, the top inch of the screen around the camera was completely unresponsive. By the second time I got it fixed the screen was popping off and every time they fixed ot after that it did the same thing... Unresponsive and falling off, finally I was done with their B.S and purchased a new iPad because I had spend so much time and money on them already. The screen eventually fell off and I found that they where using packing tape instead of the proper glue to hold down the screen. After the first time o brought in my iPad, I gave them my passcode and they had went through and moved and even DELETED, my apps and files! NEVER BRING YOUR DEVISE HERE!!!!! read more

Horrible. Do NOT go here. No, I'm serious. Not only did their technician completely ruin my fiancée's brand new iPhone 6 ...she told him he should take it to a completely unaffiliated retailer (Cellular Medics who were phenomenal!) We sat as she huffed and puffed behind a curtain bending valuable pieces and losing necessary screws. She even had the audacity to ask him to pay for his new screen has he left their establishment with his phone in pieces. Seriously, do yourself a favor and go to Cell Medics. I just went in to sell a broken screen iPhone 5S and they offered $90 which is higher than the $60 that Gazelle.com would give but the lady went a step further and told me if I know how to work eBay I could get more money- up to $189 without even fixing the phone. I would not recommend going here. I needed my phone fixed, went in, was told it would take an hour. Came back an hour later, and my phone still wasn't ready. The guy told me he couldn't get the screen to work with my home button, and I was gonna have to come back tomorrow. I paid, (FULL PRICE) and then returned the next day only for it to take another 2 hours. To top it off, my screen doesn't read my fingers all the time. I have a hard time typing there's also a broken pixel. Take your phone somewhere else if you need it fixed. read more

DO NOT EVER GO HERE FOR IPHONE REPAIRS!!! The 1 star rating was only because this site does not allow 0 stars or negative stars, which is what this place truly deserves. I am new to Providence, and recently purchased a new iPhone 6. I cracked a portion of the screen, and foolishly took it to BuyCellFix in Northo Providence to have the screen replaced. I was told it would be no problem to replace and take about 15-20 minutes. Sounded good to me, as I have had screens replaced in the past on other iphones while I was living in Pennsylvania. WORST MISTAKE I EVER MADE. The woman working there was the very epitome of incompetence. They take your phone behind a curtain to work on it so you can't see what they are doing. Why on earth would anyone do that? After spending 2.5 hours there, I was handed back my phone in literally 2 pieces. She had lost screws, bent brackets, and stripped another screw. She was unable to put my phone back together, rendering the device virtually useless. I am on the road for work everyday and use my phone constantly for calls, emails, and GPS. Not having a functioning phone is not an option. So, after 2.5 hours, wasting my time, breaking my phone, she had the gaul to ask me HOW I'D BE PAYING FOR THE SCREEN SHE DIDN'T REPLACE NOR FIX!! Absolutely unreal. She then suggested I take my phone to Cellular-Medic since she knows they do good work. (They fixed her mistakes and made my phone good as new, and didn't charge me a penny. If you have any sense in your head whatsoever you will go to them for iphone service and NOT this racket chop shop!!) Also, while I was waiting, 2 other customers came in to pick up their phones they had dropped off earlier, but for the same reason I was there; needed their screens replaced. She came out from behind the curtain with their phones only to show them that yes, she had indeed replaced the screen, but now the phone was no longer functioning. They only turned on to reveal the apple logo, but didn't get any further than that. Both phones had been functioning completely normal prior to her working on them. What she does is put the screen on, and smash all the inner components down instead of properly putting them back in. They were irate, as I would be too later. Her only response was that she couldn't offer an explanation as to what was wrong with them, and suggested coming back Monday when the shop owner would be in. Worst experience I've ever had and I wish I could give them negative stars to negate the obviously owner-inflated star rating reflected on this site. Horrible place. read more
