I pretty much got the same thing each time we got, a peanut butter sundae with soft serve and it hit the spot every time. The service was quick and friendly, even with the long lines. There were plenty of tables to sit and enjoy your ice cream and the parking was plentiful if you needed to drive vs walk. The only issue - which isn't their fault - were the bugs. The Ice Cream Dugout was literally a dream Troy had back in 1997. That dream became a reality for the Locke;s on July 17th, 2003." They have a huge assortment of flavors and I couldn't make up my mind. I got a sugar cone with the standard chocolate flavor 2 scoops and a 3 scoop cup of Rum Raisin, Maine Tracks and Maine Survivor. Total cost for the large portions was exactly 8 bucks. Please note that this place is completely Pro-Boston Redsox to a point that their largest frappe is called "Yankees Suck!" which is super thick. Some of the items you may want to try straight from their menu: Apple Papelbon - A homemade cinnamon bun covered with hot apple topping, a generous scoop of vanilla ice cream with hot caramel, topped with whipped cream and garnished with cinnamon. Wally the Green Monster - Vanilla ice cream, choc. syrup, whip cream, green jimmies & M&M's. This stand alone establishment is magical. You place your order in the dugout window and then either eat it at an available picnic bench or eat in your car and just stand around and enjoy. They have a variety of flavors to your hearts content. Fresh home-made waffle cones and sugar cones.
