I've been to other Jubilee locations so thought I'd stop by when I was in Georgetown the other day. It's a small shop with basically just the counter inside, but with more than enough ice cream flavor options to keep anyone happy. I tried the passionfruit guava sorbet which was delicious, my only complaint being that it was a very small scoop for almost $8. Maybe it's because it was a cone instead of a cup, but I was surprised by how small it was when it was handed to me.
Ice cream in the middle of Georgetown is always nice! Excellent service and super friendly staff. The decor is nice inside but really no space to eat. Very nice and clean. Must eat outside and walking around. So Georgetown is kind of your real decor. Got the salted caramel in a sugar cone. The cone is good but not above standard. The ice-cream has great churn if you like airy and fluffy ice-cream. A bit sweet for my taste. The flavor can be a bit more intense but probably ok for some. May be just a 3 star if you are looking for ice cream, but a 4 overall.
This place is soo delicious. The $3 single scoop sign (for Georgetown students) caught my eye, so a friend I gave it a try. The mango sticky rice flavor is to die for, and they had a good selection of unique spring flavors. I'd definitely pay the $6.50 for a scoop again when I'm back in Gtown. The lady working the counter was super friendly as well, and the shop is clean and modern. I'd definitely recommend checking Jubilee out!
The staff here is really nice, and it's a very cute location, but every single time I go to Ice Cream Jubilee in DC (here or in Navy Yard) I get served freezer burnt ice cream. Their flavors can be interesting (especially the seasonal ones like red bean, which I really enjoy), but it's so hard to get over the iciness and unpleasant texture. I like that they're a local spot and creative, but I wish the quality was there alongside the concept. Great portions, great service, great variety of flavors; just not very well-made ice cream.
Jubilee has very good banana pudding ice cream! If you enjoy banana flavor, then definitely get this ice cream when in Georgetown! Overall the shop was tiny but cute inside. Service was good for one person working there during a rush.
This was the last food spot we visited before heading to the airport. We were allowed 2-3 samples and I asked if I could do two flavors and they said no, so I went with the Marionberry. After halfway through my scoop, it started getting too sweet. I saw other family members getting different flavors, so it was strange that I could only get one.

The cashier seemed a little bit flustered on what was happening. The ice cream wasn't anything crazy it was basic and great on a very hot day. It's super conveniently located in Georgetown so it is a great place to stop by while you're shopping or after. There isn't any seating so make sure you eat quick because it melts fast!

Quality is not terrible and inedible.
The concept of the banana, soft, serve nondairy ice cream is just genius! You get all of the texture you might expect, along with excellent flavor companions like chocolate and peanut butter that go perfectly with banana in a very refreshing and somewhat healthier package. However, as others have commented, the pricing for these ice cream cones seems exorbitant! If you look at the size of the swirl and compare it to the seven dollar price tag, it somehow does not seem commensurate. the service was very friendly and the storefront is small and cute. For those who are seeking a nice nondairy treat, I would definitely recommend this shop! However, I hope that the owners and management takes some of the feedback, and either adjust the pricing or the portions to bring them into better alignment.
Came here around noon on a Sunday right when it opened. Parking can be a bit tough around this area but we managed to find street parking a few blocks down in the residential area. This spot is located on a busy strip of businesses in Georgetown so lots of foot traffic especially on the weekend. Luckily we didn't have to wait too long because we were probably the first customers of the day. I decided to get one of the seasonal flavors - the blueberry crisp. Super delicious flavor of vanilla/blueberry with hints of cinnamon! The texture was just right too, not having to worry about eating it super fast in the heat was convenient. I would definitely come back to try more of the seasonal flavors.
I was very excited to try Ice Cream Jubilee after the warm weather finally started to hit. I'm a big ice cream fan, and some of these flavors really rocked! I especially liked the s'mores. The service was a little strange--maybe this was their first busy weekend of the year, but the cashier taking our order seemed exasperated. We were happy to wait and didn't want to cause any problems of course! The food was good but not quite what I had wanted. I ordered the five flavor flight and was instead served only four flavors that were already preselected. I was a little bummed, but since the cashier seemed so exasperated, I didn't want to add to his workload or make him angry. For the price, I don't think I would necessarily come back because of the experience.

The flavors at jubilee are amazing, and it took me so long to decide which one I finally wanted to get. They're also very kind and will let you test flavors if you like, which was helpful in my case. It's a small store but very cute and nice to visit with friends. My only complaint was that it was a bit expensive for an ice cream... but it is also DC. read more

I visited last week and got the Toasted S'mores seasonal flavor. The ice cream was icy tasting, like it had freezer burn. It also didn't capture the flavor of s'mores -- there was too much graham cracker and not enough chocolate. In theory, I give Ice Cream Jubilee credit for getting a lot of graham cracker in the ice cream -- which is where a lot of s'mores ice creams struggle -- but they didn't balance out the flavors correctly. This is obvious from the photo -- you can see barely any chocolate -- and is also obvious from tasting, so this flavor shouldn't have made it past quality control. For the prices they charge, both mistakes are inexcusable. I've also had Ice Cream Jubilee a few other times at both the 14th St and Navy Yard locations. It is fine but overpriced and overhyped. read more

Truly worthy of being a D.C. favorite! Ice Cream Jubilee offers a wide variety of delicious flavors, spanning expertly crafted classics and a series of fun, creative new varieties. There are a few consistent favorites that are always on the menu, as well as a seasonal menu that rotates in and out, meaning that I know that I'll be able to find something I love every time I visit, but I also have a lot of opportunities to try something fun and new. I also appreciate that they offer multiple vegan options, unlike most ice cream shops that will just have one very generic sorbet. They also clearly label which flavors are vegan, gluten-free, nut-free, as well as a series of other key dietary restrictions, which I really appreciated, since I've often found that I have to ask the staff and just generally hold up the line or feel like a burden to figure out that information. I tried out their seasonal strawberry hibiscus and it was absolutely incredible -- so light and refreshing, with the taste of summer exploding across my tastebuds. It also wasn't overwhelmingly sweet in the way sorbets sometimes can be. All around amazing shop, and I cannot wait to visit again to try out the next new seasonal flavors! read more
I stopped by here as part of a Yelp event. Not knowing what to expect, I was happily surprised by what I found. The shop is small but well-lit and clean. The employee working was very polite, helpful and kind. There were a surprising amount of ice cream options. They had both classic flavors as well as other diverse flavors. They also had a few non-dairy options. I opted for the Strawberry Hibiscus Sorbet and it was spectacular. If you are looking for a non-big chain ice cream shop to check out, Ice Cream Jubilee is not a bad option. read more
Vegan Friendly: Sadly No Exterior and Interior (3/5): So the exterior is ok because there is construction going on but it has a small cute patio outside to sit and chill. The interior is very clean, and minimal but done well! But the only thing that sucks is that the bathroom was not working so I can't give a high rating but I appreciate the place overall. Food Breakdown: - Cookie Cream & Dough (5/5): Man oh man I would say I am an Ice Connoisseur. So I am very picky about it and I was pretty sure these would be some basic stuff. But man oh man was I wrong. Idk if it was the heat or what but I was sooooooo tempted to get a second serving. It wasn't too sweet, the right portion, the flavor was solid. If you are in the area you have to go and specific recommend getting this flavor. Portion Size: It was honestly the right size not too much but not too little Service/Food Delivery: The service was amazing. Super nice and very helpful. The only thing is that they only allow 2 samples per person. This to me is really stingy and wack. But I can understand why they do but this was honestly the biggest turn off. WOW. Incredible ice cream flavors all around. They had so many wild flavors that all sounded delicious! We were able to sample a few and then order a giant 2-scoop cup at a very reasonable price. I got the passionfruit and guava sorbet as well as the cookies & cookie dough ice cream. The passionfruit and guava sorbet was incredible. Tart, sweet, fruity, and silky smooth as a sorbet. It was incredible, and those two fruits pair really well! It was so refreshing on a hot day. The cookies & cookie dough was surprisingly better than I thought it would be. I expected a decent and familiar ice cream, but this was another level. The pieces of Oreo's were big and chunk and a little soft to allow for a more pleasant and homogeneous bite. The cookie dough was also chunk and such a high quality cookie dough. Overall this is an incredible ice cream spot if you're looking for a non-chain location that serves high quality and unique ice cream. read more

Delicious, unique, thick ice cream with a twist! Tried the Apple butter oatmeal cookie pie and it was delicious. Love that the register and pickup area is separate to help with traffic. Would love to try other flavors of ice cream and the waffle cone next time due to the other reviews. The freezer has a lot of ice creams for you to take home tubs as well read more

Wonderful assortment of ice cream with a constant rotation of new flavors, and ole reliable flavors as well. They got cones, cups, sundaes, sold by the pint, and usually something going on. We went during the 4th of July and got a Freedom Sundae! The blueberry waffle icecream + passionfruit guava sorbet + bold vanilla was a masterful combination. The blueberry waffle had amazing textures from the waffle; the sorbet had a nice tangy refreshing flavor, all backed by the solid vanilla flavor that cleansed the palette. Line is usually long, but moves quickly. It is a locally owned, woman owned, and AAPI owned business that supports the community in so many ways. Always looking for a reason to come back! read more

Always satisfied! Love the ice cream and service here. The flavors are unique but very delicious. My favorite flavor is the banana bourbon caramel! It's soooooo amazing. I highly recommend trying it if you haven't already. I ordered two scoops of ice cream: the banana bourbon caramel and the cookies and cookie dough. When I say I devoured it, mannnn I left nothing in that cup! It was just what I needed. The service was swift. My friend was in and out in less than 5 minutes. read more

Super cute ice cream shop with a variety of flavors! Due to pandemic restrictions, indoor seating was removed. The employee took our order at the front -- she was very helpful in explaining the flavors. They also have an iPad where you can order contactless. There's a couple of tables out front, but all under direct sunlight. The best part of this ice cream shop is the flavors. I got Thai tea and horchata; I would absolutely go back for a few more scoops of the Thai tea. Although the ice cream a little pricier, the creaminess and rich flavor makes it all worth it! read more
The ice cream texture isn't super creamy, but they sometimes have interesting seasonal flavors you can't get elsewhere, like their last Lunar New Year release which included egg tart and almond cookie. I have to dock a star for their sloppy execution of promotions. One time I saw a promotion on Instagram but when I showed up, the employee had no idea it was happening (we double-checked the date and locations on the IG post, and the employee agreed I was right). Another time they had scheduled promotions posted on the wall, but the employee didn't know how to implement the advertised promotion. I ended up having to enter a coupon code on an online pickup order despite ordering in person. Things worked out in the end both times, but it's just awkward. For $6/scoop, I would expect better communication and training behind the scenes. read more

We flew in from California for our niece's graduation from Howard University and stayed at the hotel right across from Ice Cream Jubilee--what a find! The ice cream was fantastic, but the customer service truly made it unforgettable. Jess, Marshay, and Delicisha were warm, funny, and incredibly welcoming. They took the time to share the history of the shop, and we left feeling like we'd just spent time with old friends. An absolute must-visit if you're in the Falls Church area! read more

This was the last stop on our food tour. We got to try a scoop of ice cream in a cup or cone here. It was the apple butter oatmeal cookie in a cup for my husband and the banana bourbon caramel in a sugar cone for me. I really liked the selection of flavors and both of our choices were fantastic. If you want good ice cream, check this spot out. read more

I'm not a huge Ice Cream person but my friends wanted some so I decided to get a scoop. I shockingly really liked the Popcorn Ice Cream. It had a subtly flavor that wasnt too sweet and went well with the waffle cone. I'd come back hopefully on a warmer day next time. read more
