The toast comes heavily buttered and the savory croissant for the day was topped with the fillings you'd fine in a spanakopita -- i.e. spinach and feta. I really loved the thickness of the toast slice and the degree that they toasted it: soft and fluffy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. They did not hold back from including a bunch of seeds in the bread, and that added a nice texture in every bite. The jam is on the sweeter side, but I like that it's on the side so you can control exactly how much sweetness you want to add. The savory croissant had good flakiness to it, but it would have been nice if we had an option to have it toasted. Overall, very good bakery that I'd gladly visit again if I'm back on Bainbridge Island. Definitely get the toast.

She gave us a few samples and was very friendly and talkative. She made the experience so much better given we were the only ones there for a bit. The space is quite small but comfortable to sit for a bit and enjoy their ice cream. Since I am lactose intolerant, this place is PERFECT for me. I would sample the other flavors next time. That's especially unfortunate for a business located in the middle of a major tourist area. As for the drink, I'm not sure how a hot latte ends up being served cold, but it definitely shouldn't happen.
