Stopped by earlier this year to look for engagement rings. Had to see what all the great reviews were all about! We stopped by other jewelers but were turned off by their service so we were hoping Icing on the ring would save us (and they did!) It's located right across perishing square on the 3rd floor of building 607. The entrance to the building always kinda creeps me out for some reason. But once you get to the 3rd floor, you'll find multiple jewelry businesses as well. Just look for icing on the ring. The first time, we had the pleasure of working with Ravi, who helped us find the perfect engagement ring for me. I already had an idea of what type of design I wanted, but after talking with Ravi more and looking at similar designs, he showed me a half eternity (what I originally wanted), compass prong/setting, with a gorgeous crown and I loved it! I also wanted to get a conflict free diamond/stone AND have my fiance buy a reasonably priced ring (don't want to be in debt lol) so I did a lot of research on charles and colvard moissanite and was pretty set on it. I didn't really care much if I had a real diamond or not. I compared my ring with my friends diamond ring and you can barely tell the difference. I like the moissanite because the fire is excellent! I've gotten so many compliments on my ring! The second time we were in the area so we decided to stop by to look for wedding bands too. I am so glad we chose Icing On The Ring for my partner's engagement ring. We made an appointment and was able to get seen within the week to view and try on different rings. Huge parking garage just down the street, so really easy to find parking. They do offer parking validation if you make a purchase. The engagement ring showroom appointment lasted about an hour, and Leandra was the one who take care of us. Leandra made this experience so amazing for us. She was patient, offered extremely helpful advice, and was not trying to up-sale at all. We truly felt she cared about what we were looking for and our budget, as she would often give us price estimates and go into detail with all the differences in the ring and stone characteristics. Leandra was also just so enthusiastic and had a good sense of how my partner was feeling that everything felt so comfortable! After the appointment, Leandra sent us a follow up email with the details of what we liked and direct rings to the different designs we asked her to take note of. From there, we let them know which ring, stone, any customizations we were hoping to make, and if they had any suggestions about which diamond we should choose. As this is new for us, we were still unsure on which diamond we wanted to go with. With that, they offered to have another meeting to look at the different diamonds more closely. For this 2nd meeting, we had the pleasure of working with Raffi. Raffi was great. He showed us over a dozen different diamonds, and went into detail about all the characteristics, the differences between them, and the costs. What is great is that being the location is in the diamond district, when we wanted to view a diamond that he didn't have in store, he just reached out to one of their suppliers to ask if they could show us a different diamond. 5-10 minutes later, Raffi retrieved a diamond we wanted to view. This diamond ended up being the one we went with! It was beautiful, and all the extra work Raffi put in to accommodate our requests just shows how great the service is. We paid a down payment for the ring as it planned to be complete within about 2 weeks (ended up being sooner than that). We picked up the ring, tried it on to make sure it fit properly, and they gave it a proper cleaning before passing it on to us. Of course, the diamond will come with proof of authenticity from the IGI. With our purchase, it came with great warranty and other privileges, such as lifetime diamond upgrade, complimentary refurbishing, free gemstone tightening, and free resizing for a year.
