So they offer half of your asking price. Upon further inspection, they say they have to call their [ non-existent manager ] for approval. Then come back to say that they can only buy your piece for 1/3rd or less. They pick at any reason to make you believe your piece is nearly worthless. They tell you that you're getting a great deal.
