I had partial highlights done at this salon. The hair stylist was very transparent with the pricing up front, which I really appreciated. I showed her a picture of the caramel highlights I wanted, and she told me that it was full highlights and not a partial, which would cost so much more. So I opted for partial highlights. She offered me coffee while she dyed my hair, and when it came time to shampoo my hair, they made sure I was comfortable at all times and did not get my neck wet. They also showed me how to curl my medium length hair before styling it. There were hardly any decorations in the salon, but I didn't care. My hair looked gorgeous and I am very happy with it! I wasn't going to leave a review at first because the apt was just fine. The ladies were very sweet. I went in for a simple blowout; I have very thick and long hair so it normally takes a while. I could tell that the hair wash was a bit fast and the conditioner didn't really sit so my hair was kind of dry after. They were being a little rough during the actual blowout which doesn't necessarily bother me EXCEPT as I'm getting ready for bed tonight I noticed how much breakage they caused! I usually try to color my own hair cause it can get pricey but boy do I end up paying for it later. I went in thinking she could just lighten the top of my head and add color overall but Ani knows better. I ended up doing a color correction which was wayyyy more than I was hoping to spend ($500) but it turned out great and I love it. The whole thing was like a 4 step process and she even added a hot oil treatment for me cause I was really worried about the damage bleaching my hair would do. Whole thing took about 2 hours. I'll definitely be going back for touchups cause I can't let it get as bad as it did in that before photo! read more

Ani and Mary are amazing, I can't say more good things about not only them as a hairstyling/colorist but also as a person. They always make my hair look great, I usually get my roots done, toner, and sometimes a blow dry. My hair has never felt as healthy or looked as good as it does now thanks to them. As far as them as people they're great people and I am a little introverted so I feel awkward sometimes talking to people, but they make me feel like I've known them for years and it's like hanging out with friends every time I come here. From my first time at iColor, I felt comfortable with Ani. She is truly a master in her field and very knowledgeable about hair textures. My hair is curly/wavy and I wear it natural. She is precise and takes the extra time to straighten my hair before she cuts it to make sure it's even. I love that she listens to what I need - a beautiful cut that is low maintenance and accents my curls - emphasis on low maintenance. I think all the below reviews are PAID/FAKE, because there's no way this business is five stars. I explained to her (there is only one lady) what I wanted (AND CAME IN THE WEEK BEFORE FOR A CONSULTATION) and she literally did the exact opposite of what I was hoping for. I left in tears. Not to mention, not only is my hair fucked up, but she proceeded to argue and lecture with me over vaccines, why I should be anti-VAX and was completely unprofessional. I was shocked. It came OUT OF NOWHERE! I don't care if you believe in vaccines or not, but it was so random, she's almost delusional. She started asking me about my health history, was I vaccinated as a child, and if I was, it's the vaccines that messed me up. Beyond rude and ignorant, never been in a situation like this before. I truly hope this review sticks here and she does not get to remove it. I have never been in a more awkward and UNCOMFORTABLE situation, and I could not wait to leave. She even admitted to me she has lost clients because of it, and told me she could care less.I was being lectured. If you want an upscale, kind, professional, and welcoming salon, go SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!! THIS PLACE IS A RED FLAG. I am updating my review, as I did a deep dive, and have noticed that I am not the only one that has received this horrible service. I called the salon right after I had just walked out of another salon that had completely ruined my hair. I come here specifically for Jose Reyes. I have curly hair and it's hard to find someone that can cut it without making me look like pyramid head. If you have curly hair he is your guy. He's also amazing with color, color correction and overall getting your hair to better health. I love how he texturized my hair with the cut so that it has volume and bounce when curly and I can switch it up when I blow it out straight. He's great at blow outs too. Where to start...? I came in with dry and brittle hair that was damaged and breaking. Annie shared information with me about purple shampoo and platinum hair and how drying it is and from that day forward I have not touched the purple shampoo since! My hair is now healthy and getting long and much thicker than before. She listens to the ideas I have and brings them to life and I feel so confident with my hair now! Thank you so much Annie!
