Dr. Kuang is a difficult to find combination of medical practitioner and athlete. He not only understands the theory behind human movement issues, but also the practice component of human movement. If being able to move your body freely is important to you, Dr. Kuang is without a doubt the person you want by your side. I came in with a hip flexor issue that had been bothering me for months, to the point I stopped squatting altogether. Within a few seconds of watching me squat he was able to determine the cause of my problem. He definitely has trained eye. From there, he not only helped relieve the nagging pain with some active release techniques, but also prescribed exercises to increase my hip's range of motion. On top of that, he gave me some practical cues to improve my squat form. And it's awesome that he has all of the equipment right in his office on which to practice the movements. I have been seeing Dr. Simon (aka "the magician") for a few months now. The first few visits were more frequent to address my shoulder pain caused by impingement. It was a mess! I had been seeing another chiropractor but not feeling much relief. Let me start off by saying that coming here has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. Dr. Kuang has been so instrumental in helping me feel exponentially better. I had a compressed nerve that was hindering my every day life significantly. I found Dr. Kuang on yelp, and the reviews were a big reason as to why I chose him. The location is in downtown Fullerton and can be a bit difficult to find. However, the inside of the practice is extremely clean and welcoming all while feeling very serene. The first time I went in, I was given a consultation regarding injury history as well as current areas of pain. As this was my first time at the chiropractor, I didn't know what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised at how detailed Dr. Kuang was in his prognosis of my injury and talked me through the steps to healing back up. My first visit ended a little short of an hour with me feeling much better from the adjustment as well as having a direction to mending my neck pain. I scheduled a few more appointments to follow up on how the healing process was progressing. After following Dr. Kuang's instructions, I could easily see that my pain was receding quickly. I would say that my problems were about 80% resolved when I returned the following week. Dr. Kuang is very easy to talk to and is always ready to lend an ear to further issues you may be having in life as well as regarding your health. I found that while getting adjusted, I was able to relax easily and the conversations helped. Dr. Kuang has given me suggestions for restaurants and video games aside from those relating to fixing myself up. I appreciate his attention to detail and his interest in my life. This is my first review on yelp or anywhere else for that matter , so you know what I have to say is the absolute truth. I originally went to see Dr. Quinn for a low back issue which was painful to the point that it sidelined me from every day exercise activity. The pain was prolonged to the point that I knew medical intervention was necessary. After my first visit I felt pain relief and regained motion in my lower back , which keep getting better and better after a few more treatments. One month passed and I was back to exercising and feeling great. I hurt myself last year during cheer practice and my spine was in significant pain. The pain was so unbearable I couldn't sleep at night, was unable to do gymnastics, and I couldn't sit for long periods of time. It got to the point where I couldn't even drive for long periods of time because of the pain. I went through several painful deep tissue massages, shock therapy, and several adjustments from other chiropractors but none of it alleviated my pain. I got Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in both hands and had surgery on my right hand 3 years ago. But surgery didn't solve my problem and, in some ways, made it even worse. My wife found Dr. Simon through Yelp and from the first session I started to feel that my hands were getting better. He explained to me that the reason I felt worse after the surgery was the scar tissues created as a result. He worked on scar tissues on my right hand and on Carpal Tunnel issue on my left hand. I was referred to Dr. Kuang by my boyfriend Robert for hip pain i was experiencing during squatting. My boyfriend had been dealing with chronic hip and back pain for many years. Went to speak with Dr. Kuang regarding some lower back pain expecting a pretty simple exam, small adjust, nothing crazy. However, Dr. Kuang far exceeded my expectations.
