This place is a rip off. I had to cancel my last appointment due to COVID. In the meantime my contact ran out and I had no idea ( who remembers the exact date of their first treatment and keeps up with it for 16 months ?!) Well, now if I want to have the same services done, I have to pay, but if I went to have the services done while COVID positive, they would have been free! I purchased a spa package from this business and could not complete it because of medical issues. I was refunded only 602.00 out of this special instead of the bigger amount I did get the botox in my lips prior to my illness but 602 +550 does not equal 1500 I tried calling many times and asked for a manager that is never there or is just good at ignoring customers on my end I was told to get a letter with medical reasons from my physian and I would be refunded appropriately well lies!!! I am giving this place 1 star because I have to as it's the only option to be able to leave a review! I love to write positive reviews and help businesses along the way so having to write a negative one means I am furious! PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. In March of 2021, I had a scheduled call with Ideal Image sales consultant, Exotic Burm. I specifically ask her how soon I would be scheduled for this procedure as I had plans to move out of state within the next 6 weeks. She promised it would be well before I moved. After forking over $1,470.00. ($1,220 for procedure and $250 for membership fee), I waited for a follow up call to schedule. By the next afternoon, no one had called to schedule me in so I called them. They told me that the earliest appointment would not be for 3 months!! WTF?? I was obviously upset since this was the exact question, regarding timing of the appointment, that I had asked Exotic to confirm BEFORE paying for this procedure. A few hours later, they called me back and told me I could come in on the following Monday. Wow, just one business day later which was strange since they stated earlier they were booked solid for the next three months! When I arrived, I was greeted by a woman that was not very personable and acted as though I was an inconvenience. I was told it would take about an hour or slightly longer, BUTshe was finished in 30 minutes! She said I wouldn't see any changes for another 4-6 months. I didn't feel welcomed and left disappointed in the overall experience. 6 months after procedure, (August 2021) I reached out to schedule my free membership procedure and asked if I could do the Ultherapy again since I didn't really see a difference. She asked if I wanted to come in so they can take a look at the results. I agreed and went in a few days later. When I got to the Tigard office, they asked why I was there??? I let them know THEY requested I come in. To make it worse, the same woman that did my procedure six months prior came out and was cold and unwelcoming AGAIN and seemed to take the fact that I was there personally. She gave me a mirror and we compared the before and after results and it showed that NOTHING had changed. I understand this wasn't a face lift, but you would think for $1220, I would see some type of difference 6 months later!!! Otherwise, what would be the point? When she pointed to my chin and said, "don't you see the difference?" I was honest and said "no, not really" and she became upset and annoyed and kept pointing to my chin saying, "right there, it's right there!" There was no difference!! She said I could have it done again if I wanted but I would have to wait until the following month. Sept. 2021, I called to schedule procedure. I was told that I was not allowed to have the same treatment done because it was not part of the free membership procedure. OMG!More misinformation! So I chose a different one and requested my appt. be at the Vancouver office as I'd rather drive 45 minutes to avoid Tigard office. I signed document, time stamped at 12:05 pm. The appointment was scheduled for the following day, at 11:00 am at the Vancouver, WA office. When I arrived, receptionist said, very rudely, 'Umm, your appointment was yesterday"! I couldn't believe it! That's not possible. I made the appointment yesterday after 11:00 so how could my appointment possibly be yesterday?" She just stared at me with no emotion, arms crossed while I was visibly shaken and said, 'I can squeeze you in at 1:00 pm". I told her I can't just hang out for 2 hours as I had other appts. She never apologized or showed any signs of being a decent, kind human being. She continued to stare and ask "Do you want the appointment or not" as if this was my fault!! I wanted to just cancel my membership so she wrote down a number on a sticky note, handed it to me and said "byeeee". I was beyond shocked at her complete rudeness and disregard. I left in tears, humiliated and sad that they were treating me so badly.I called the 800 number and explained the incident. The woman on the phone was apologetic and said that it was their mistake. I requested to have my $250 "membership" refunded since I haven't used an additional service due to their constant mistakes and misinformation! She opened a case number for me and said I would hear back from someone the following Monday. It's been 3 weeks and I have not spoken to anyone after leaving several messages. TOTAL SCAM!!!! 11/1/21-Still no call back after the automated "Owner" message acknowledges your complain on yelp. Weak results on cool sculpting, save your money and don't get it. Absolutely no results on the Ultherapy and no resolution from anyone. Briana was helping me and said she would help me to get a resolution but didn't hear back. When I emailed her for a follow up her email bounced. Briana was a great advocate for clients so it makes me wonder if ideal let her go. Thousands of dollars I put in this place with mediocre and absolutely ZERO results on the Ultherapy. COVID is raging - and we're still out here getting spa services.. it cracks me up. Anyway: My first appointment in December, had to be rescheduled by me - well within their allotted cancellation/reschedule window. [Today] The second attempt at the first appointment was rescheduled because the tech felt sick 3 minutes before my appointment. If this wasn't my first appointment, then that would cut into the 18 month "all you can handle" laser window which would cost me.. that is outrageous. I've seen this situation happen on reviews before purchasing and am beginning to feel buyers remorse. Maybe I should've just stuck with my regular laser provider? If a 90 minute appointment can't be squeezed in until the next month - that's a bottleneck. I have to wait one whole month which can affect results depending on the growth cycle. Shaving in general, sucks. Shaving 10 areas, sucks x10. What's wilder is they called one hour before my appointment to make sure that I completed the necessary forms .. but 3 minutes in and somebody is "all of a sudden" feeling sick? WASTE OF MY TIME. I spent about half an hour waiting for my consultant to get off the phone. This extra time in the lobby allowed me to notice how many frills surrounded me from the single cup coffee maker with various flavors to the pricey looking furniture. Where did they get money for this unnecessary fluff? I would soon find out... When my consultation finally started I was asked why I came in. Dumb question considering I already had a lengthy conversation about this with them via email. So I answered again saying that I simply wanted to know how much it would cost for laser hair removal for both legs. This brought me to a long spiel from the saleswomen telling me details about laser hair removal that either were not important or common knowledge. She asked me stupid questions like 'How do you FEEL about unwanted hair?' and other similar emotional type questions. After showing me charts of hair growth cycles we finally went into another room to discuss price. I was originally drawn in by their 'up to 70% off' radio ads. She wrote down some figures on a piece of paper and I was shocked. I told her that I was not willing to pay that price, so she wrote down another lower figure and showed it to me insisting that she 'wasn't messing with me' on the prices. After denying the price again her entire personality changed. From perky and nice she went to cold and rude quickly. She acted as if I had wasted HER time. She threw away the paper with the prices and tried to scare me by saying that I could ONLY GET THE DEAL THAT DAY. I told her that I needed to do my own research on the various lasers etc. She responded that most people will go online and find cheap lasers that will not work at other clinics. I did my own research and found that Ideal Image does use quality Alexandrite lasers. I also found that RESULTS SKIN CARE CENTER (about 2 miles away) uses the same Alexandrite type laser (Candela GentleLASE) for WAY CHEAPER! Glad I did my research. She seemed annoyed when I hesitated to take a bunch of photos. The paper garmet they give you is cheap, uncomfortable and leaves you feeling exposed. Not worth the money. I was so looking forward to my appointment for CoolSculpt on my lower abdomen. I had my pre-consult via computer and paid for my procedure in advance. I didn't hear from them after that until I started calling. Finally I get an appointment. I show up at my appointment and Julie, a tech said I had to wear a mask. I told her I have a medical condition preventing me from wearing a mask, and I have doctors letter stating so. They asked if I had the letter to which I replied, yes, and they asked to take a photo copy of it. Huge HIPPA violation and ADA violation. I let Julie, the tech know this and she still took the letter and made a copy of it. Then she said she had to speak with her office manager. She came back and said the mask is required. I let her know I had documentation from the Oregon Health Authority stating those with medical conditions are not required to wear a mask and also let her know it is actually illegal for them to ask me why I can't wear the mark. And I also let her know refusing me, and this after I paid in advance due to my medical restriction is also an ADA violation. She went back in to speak with someone, and came back out and asked if they can reschedule me. I said no, if you are not going to do my procedure today, then I would like a refund. She went back inside and said she would talk to someone about my refund. I waited outside for quite some time. No one came back. Another customer came up, and asked if I was waiting. I told her I think I am waiting for my refund. I told her what happened, and she was surprised. Then Tiffany came barreling through the door outside and yelled at me sayin, "Ma'am we need to keep six feet distance." First of all, we were all ready six feet apart, and second of all it is not her call. The other lady had no issue with standing there talking to me as she walked up to me, not me to her. I then asked Tiffany for my refund. She said to take it up with the company that financed my procedure. I told her I paid with my debit card in advance, no finance company involved and since they were refusing me the procedure based on my ADA covered medical condition, I would like my refund. She then told me to call the place that took my money. I told her I had an online consultation and the company called me, not me them. I asked her for the number to call. Again she rudely said, "the number you called to make your payment and appointment!" I asked again for a number. She said to look it up. So I left being humiliated, having to explain my medical condition over and over again and being made to feel belittled, embarrassed and humiliated over it, and refusal to have my money refunded. Apparently this company is not educated in ADA or HIPPA regulations. I told Tiffany they were in violation of OHA policies and ADA, and she said they need to follow them because they are a private business. I will take my business elsewhere. The place I went for laser knows of my health condition and has never required me to wear a mask. I will not be recommending Ideal Image for anything. Worst experience of my life. The customer service is amaizing. Trips are quick and easy. I was promised perminacy. And the way they questing you during your pre paid treatments courses leads to false numbers. I thought and had reported 60-80% in certain areas. Yet 2 years after treatment I'm right we're I started. 5-7k down and about 11 treatments in 2 areas of face and 10 in another. And hair growth actually continues and got worse along with white or grey hairs started to appear. And extensively long hairs composites to what I used to have. But if your fine with life time of treatments. It dose give 90 days pluse clearer skin. And then next treatment. But my face would easily even st life time discounted rate of 50 and 55 in each area. Is rightly 160 every 3 months for me. And because zoning of treatments. It dosen't get all the hairs. And still requires some work on my part. So not perminate. Is slightly deceiving. But dose do great if you have the ideal pale skin think course hair as I do. But again. Life time investment and on time treatments required. Better and cheaper and less painful then tweezing waxing or anything else out there. I've looked into electrolysis. Can take up to 2 years of treatments 1x per week... some scarring. $85 per hour is cheapest I can find. About 4200 by time may be hsir free. (May be hair free) If you have underlined health issues best to get home system even though there's risks there. I've used Ideal Image for the last few years for anti-aging Botox. I've never once seen a paper contract from them. Last spring when I was in there for Botox in my forehead I was talked into purchasing $1500 of Ultherapy to reduce or tighten loose skin in the neck region. As with Botox you pay for it up front and "bank" the product and/or services. We've been through a pandemic and at times Ideal Image was completely shutdown. I called today to use the Ultherapy or preferably to switch my $1500 credit over to Botox. I was told that I had six months to use that $1500 credit for Ultherapy and since I hadn't then it was no longer a credit and the clinic kept my money. When I complained to Ideal Image Tigard, Oregon, said, "Hey, you signed the contract". Again, I've never seen a paper contract. Their office had me sign an online contract via a tablet while I was standing at their store counter with my credit card. I've asked to speak with management but no one calls me. I contacted their corporate office and was told, "you signed the contract". Corporate refused to connect me to management. And instead sent me a copy of my online signature with their lengthy contract that I never read. This is a scam. Tomorrow I contact the State of Oregon Consumer Affairs Division. Tomorrow I contact local media. If remediation is not complete by 04/20/2022, then I will employ an attorney to alleviate me of this stress. read more

This place is a rip off. I went in for a consultation for Brazilian laser hair removal and they were asking $2,000 AND THAT WAS WITH A DISCOUNT. Originally $5,000. This was ridiculous. The entire consultation was talking about how I'm going to pay it off & different payment plans rather than what my needs were & how laser hair removal even works. The lady I was with worked out a deal with me where I paid 20% down for my first treatment (about $400) & pay off the rest for the next 18 months (about $90/month). Which sounded ok to me. I was almost done signing the contract until I saw the monthly payment at the bottom said $140 which was obviously way off from what I was told. Anyways long story short, she told me the wrong price so I said NOPE and told them never mind. Come to find out before I even FINISHED signing the paperwork, they had already taken out the $400 of my account. (I thought that was supposed to be taken out for my FIRST treatment, not consultation?) I was told many different things that day & it's honestly just a rip off. DONT GO HERE. I have been going to ideal image for a few years. The last two Botox treatments I had were absolutely not Botox but saline. I have zero results and even have tenderness in those areas almost a month later. I went back in and missed 2 hours of work to have a touch up and discuss my concerns. They did not fix it and only offered to "redo" the treatment without any discount our apology for the inconvenience. I would have to pay over $500 for another treatment after only having it done a couple weeks prior. I have never experienced an issue before at this location but I know this provider diluted my Botox to almost nothing but saline. I paid for a 1 year membership and was so upset I wanted to cancel it but they refused to refund my card and cancel the membership. I feel cheated and lied to. Apparently Ideal Image does NOT do 'Brazilian laser hair removal' for males. I went in for a free consult, and specifically told them what I wanted, it was only after the sales pitch that even though they advertize for Brazilian laser hair removal, they said, "Sorry, our Brazilian treatment is only for female clients at this time." Talk about a sexist business, wow, I guess discrimination against males is acceptable, or maybe they think only women's money now works in America? I've committed 6k to get Brazilian laser hair removal done, so now I guess I have to travel to Dallas TX to get treatments at a place that proudly does both males and females. Its gonna cost me a fortune in airfare and hotels alone, that's eight RT-tickets from Oregon to Texas for all 8 of my 1 hour appointments!?! I had a great experience at the ideal image. I cannot speak for other treatments but I have had ultherapy recently and with the professionalism of Shannon Ash, it was a great experience. I had no swelling or bruises after the treatment. The treatments itself is very painful but Shannon tried everything in her power to make it as comfortable as it could get. I am grateful how detail oriented she was. Probably, there is no spot left untreated on my face. :) Thank you ideal image for finally getting me decide on this treatment. Unethical business practices. I do not recommend getting treatment done at this business because they have hidden costs. When I talked to the consultant when I was first looking into laser hair removal, she told me that this was the best price they ever had and it was the last day to receive it. I told her I wasn't sure if I could spend this much money on laser hair removal and she stayed on the phone with me while I overlooked the contract. She was pressuring me to sign it and I couldn't properly overlook it. Then I found out she was lying and this deal was continuing on for months. I found out at the end of my contract amount, which I thought was just for making payments, was actually the amount of time that I could get the treatment done. Nobody told me this until after my time frame passed. With their booked schedules and the minimum time between appointments required, you can only get about six treatments. With the initial cost you paid it ends up being about $600 per treatment. After those six appointments you'll likely still have hair, I had a lot. I found out that I have to pay for every appointment after that while I was on the table about to get treatment and it is $120 each time. They state that it's 90% off for your lifetime to get the hair removed, I guess that's 10% each time you come in. Not a one time payment like it's advertised. I'm extremely upset because this was a huge splurge and at the end, I'm having to pay even more. The technician said I'm going to need at least 5 more treatments to get rid of this hair. read more

I bought my first two coolsculpting sessions for the flank area but was consulted on a few different areas for the future in case I liked the progress being made. I went in for my first session and the gal couldn't figure out how to get the large applicators on, after 5 minutes she gave up and got the smaller ones, but the process of her going in and out of the room to find stuff took over 45 min so the session hadn't begun until late. She was the same person who did my consult and cleared my outer thighs as well. Wasn't the best first experience. Then I came in for my second session, found out the gal before wasn't working there anymore .. so I got a new gal. She is great! She got on the large applicators with no problem... this after the first session and having fat already shrunk so if ever there was a time to use the small applicators it would've been the second session. I feel completely ripped off of good coverage and a first session. I let the receptionist know but nothing was done. I told her I wanted to buy more session but felt like I should get a redo on the flanks first. I believe this is when she contacted you back in February. It's almost April. While I waited for a response from you guys I told her I really wanted my outer thighs done. She assured me she would hear something from you and her manager soon so I came in and got a second consult for them. During the consult, a third nurse cleared the area and suggested a couple others. While I only came in for the thighs, I came in and bought 6 more sessions for the new areas. I had my appointment two days later, I get in and my gal says she can't do my outer thighs, that there will be lines and she just couldn't do it. We ended up treating a completely different area because of it. One again, The new gal is the best so I don't blame her for this but the whole reason I bought more sessions was for the outer thighs. Now untreated, I've lost in another area. I'm just not sure how two nurses can clear the spot, but a third wouldn't. I'm wondering about the consistency of the training and professionalism at ideal image. Both encounters were not what they were supposed to be leaving me stuck and wondering about the facility. You can get coolsculpting done at dozens of places around town with discounts and brilliant distinctions promotions, so why choose Ideal Image after all that has taken place?! Spoke with the Regional manager Kaycee Sargent months later... finally...terrible people skills, who in so many words said it was my body that was the problem during the flank treatment and explained that is why the smaller applicator was used to start, it was not the person administering it, who doesn't work there anymore by the way, and certainly not the machine... well no duh Kaycee, the machine works the way it would at any facility...it's your employees who don't know have consistency in training and practice in what they are doing. My service included 9 sessions for hair removal. I grew dark thick hair on chin down into neck and was very embarrassing for me as well as time consuming with all the shaving and plucking and not being able to leave home without emergency tweezers etc. spending $1800 was a huge deal for me, but, I took the plunge because of how embarrassed I was and how i pulled away if someone tried to touch my chin etc. Sessions start out at 8 weeks apart and then get pushed out to 10 weeks as there isn't as much hair. It is somewhat painful, but not the worst pain ever or anything; worth it in the end, and it doesnt last more than a minute or two so not in pain for hours or anything. After my third session, since there was so little that had grown in 8 weeks; only a couple hairs, we pushed appointments out to 10 weeks. After my 4th appointment, they wanted to schedule me for another 10 weeks but told them Id be in contact. It has now been 19 weeks and only one hair has grown in, so will now go in for my 5th appointment. I still have 4 appointments left after this but doubt I will ever need them. Alot of the bad reviews are from people who didnt have service done but are receiving phone calls, yes, I did receive a number of phone calls after my inquiry, but they stopped once I was a patient. I had similar experience with their Laser Hair Removal as others. I paid way to much money for no change. I was the perfect candidate: fair skin and dark hair. Laser hair removal is at best longer term hair removal. Even at the member price for touch ups it is still more expensive than other places for temporary hair removal. I was looking for laser hair removal and what I got was a lot of headache. First of all, the price for each area is really expensive. I since looked around at other clinics and found that Ideal Image charges the most for their services. If you can't afford the service they set you up with a financing option that has a high interest rate, long story short make your payments on time and pay it off before the due date or you'll be sorry! Also refunding services from them is awful! They tend to give the run around and won't get back to you when they say they will. If you are unsure about signing up, don't do it! It is difficult but not impossible to get out of it. You have to be very persistent! The service itself was okay. The nurses were pleasant and knowledgable. The ladies at the front desk were friendly and helpful. The Consultant is pushy and eager to sign you up after a few questions. You don't want to get talked into something before you know what happened. Don't agree to anything until you have thought about it. Remember that laser hair removal is not permanent! Laser hair removal is really a reduction of the thickness and quantity of hair after all the treatments are done. Ideal image claims their treatments are permanent, but do your research about the process first before buying into it. If you want to continue services called touch-ups after completing all 9 treatments, you will have to pay separately for each area. All in all it is very expensive! You get what you pay for. Yes I do have to admit that this is a little pricey but I would rather pay the money for safety and good results. My whole experience so far has been great, from my consultation to all my treatments. I did not feel pressured into getting anything I was not there to get pricing on. I have completed all my treatments and still have some hair on my legs but much less, not sure if just stubborn hairs or what. May need a few additional treatments. read more

I wrote a review sometime ago, because they asked me to. Now I'm going to tell you the truth. I paid a lot of money (a lot) to have the hair on my face removed. I was PROMISED that I would never have to shave again. After almost two years of painful laser treatments, which by the way left scars on my chin, I am still shaving. After the treatments, my face was burned, and it took at least a week for my skin to recover. A couple of times, I had little blisters on my skin. I did not go to my last appointment, I was just tired of driving so far and getting no where. I can't tell you how disapointed I am. No one from that office bothered to call me about my last appointment, they didn't call to ask me how I felt about my treatments, nothing. They got my money, and that's all they wanted. Shame on me, I fell for it. Don't you. Look around, do your homework. P.S. They wouldn't give me the numbing cream for my face because I had had a heart attack in 2001, when I told my doctor, she laughed. My doctor gave me the cream, but even with it, it was still very painful. read more
