As a business owner myself, I can confidently say that if any of my employees ever behaved the way one of your baristas did today, they'd be fired on the spot. I'm not sure of his name, but the wannabe Justin Bieber look-alike with dark hair, short and has tattoos is in desperate need of a career change. He clearly does not belong in the service industry. We've been loyal customers of Ideology for about four years now, especially since we work nearby. In the past, whenever we've had to bring a drink back, the staff has always been polite and accommodating--which is exactly why we've continued to return despite multiple mistakes. But today was unacceptable. We ordered an iced latte and were instead handed what was essentially a full cup of milk. When we asked politely for it to be fixed, he responded with attitude instead of accountability. Rather than simply remaking the drink, he came back at us with passive-aggressive, under-his-breath comments, as if we wouldn't notice. When I called him out, his smug response was, "If you want, I can give you the email to management so you can file a complaint." First of all, the coffee he made was awful. Second, his attitude was worse. We actually had to return two drinks he prepared today, and both times he acted as though we were the inconvenience. That's not customer service that's arrogance and incompetence. Frankly, if Ideology values keeping loyal customers, this employee's behavior should be addressed immediately. Otherwise, he'll continue to drive people away one snarky remark at a time because this wasn't his first time, just the first time with us but has acted the same with one of my other employees read more

I really like this place! Close to my home, great coffee, maybe the best cappuccino in Glendale. Friendly baristas. Only thing I wish for is a, hmm, normal bagel, especially since bagels are hard to come by around here. The first time I ordered a bagel here, it had cream cheese on only one side. I've since asked for it cream cheesed on both sides which they politely oblige, but each time I've had to scrape off a mountain of cream cheese for it to be anywhere near edible, even today when I said I don't need extra, just spread on both sides please. The iced lavender latte was so yummy! The syrup is made in house, so the taste was so good. If I come back, I will definitely order this drink again. The hot vanilla latte was really yummy too. We asked for a bit more vanilla syrup and the barista was really nice about adding more. The cup designs were super cute! The only downside is that they don't have lids for the iced coffee that don't require a straw. Interior was nice for studying too. We were lucky to have a table that was big enough and had chairs with back support. Parking is of course a hassle because it's Glendale, so it's not the coffee shop's fault. But we parked on the side street for free unlimited because it was Sunday. read more

One of my favorite coffee shops in LA area! I'm a regular visitor since 2019 and here are my favorite things: - cappuccino on any plant based milk (especially soy) - matcha is phenomenal! - avo toast - always good bread & avocado quality They also have sweets (bocce balls are to die for) and raf coffee which I'm not sure if you can find elsewhere in town. Additionally, always pleasant service, friendly folks making your coffee & comfy tables & chairs to dine in if you want to take a bite in there. Cute design and amazingly good coffee! Just moved into the neighborhood and wanted to check out some of the local coffee shops. I tried this spot first and it was a great find! The inside is super cute and comfortable. Great place to hang out, study, or do work. My boyfriend and I got a Chagaccino, a vanilla iced latte and a blueberry muffin. Small little place near the Glendale Galleria. Feature coffee and bagel sandwiches. No eggs on sandwiches available but you can get avo or lox and bagels. Other choices too. They also have pastries too. Lox and bagel sandwich was good. Good solid bagel with plenty of cream cheese and lox. Sandwich was about 14 dollars. Coffee good but about 3.75 dollars. While I was in Glendale earlier today I decided to get a cup of coffee. I like trying places I haven't been before so when I searched Yelp this coffee shop came up. So I decided to give it a try. Very spacious and nicely designed coffee shop. I was greeted by the friendly cashier and also the barista. I ordered a cold brew and asked for easy whole milk, the barista placed the whole milk in a separate cup and told me to add as much as I want. Now that's a wow service. Cause sometimes they add so much milk that you can't drink your coffee. I really enjoyed my coffee. Delicious ... Now let me tell you about this peanut butter cookie I bought. Unfortunately I didn't take a picture of it thinking it's just a cookie but I regret it. I wish I could have posted a picture so you can see how good this cookie looks. And how great it tasted. I can honestly say it's the best cookie I ever had. And I had many trust me..... if you ever stop by please try this cookie. You won't want it to finish. That's how I felt. And I'm not even a peanut butter cookie kind of person. I love chocolate chip cookies.... But I'll choose this over that anytime. They were having a toy drive at the shop and luckily I had a few unopened boxes of toys that I was planning to donate so it ended up here at this coffee shop. I needed some coffee and instead of going into the local Starbucks, I chose this local coffee house. It was very nice, clean, and had Wi-Fi. They also had a limited assortments of pastries. Ideology Coffee is located on the ground floor of an office building in downtown Glendale so it's probably targeted for the weekday office crowd. But we came on a Sunday afternoon and it was packed! We were lucky to grab the last table :) I had a Cortado and my son decided on an Arnold Palmer because it was such a warm day. Both were good and the friendly barista made them quickly. You enter right into the coffee bar with all the seating to the right. It's nice and clean with a soothing decor that gave the place a positive vibe. No outdoor seating but quite a few different indoor options depending on what you're there for. I saw people studying/working and meeting friends, there was even a couple with a dog. Really nice mix of people that weren't silent but it was quiet enough to read. Not a lot of parking except for metered street parking. But it was Sunday so we found a spot half a block down for free :) read more

I've been coming to Ideology Coffee weekly and have always supported this business--until today, when I experienced blatant discrimination. I came in with my fully trained, ADA-compliant service dog, as I've done many times before. But today, a female staff member insisted she was "just a pet," despite me clearly explaining otherwise. I was told we couldn't stay in the café. They poured our drinks into to-go cups without asking and then spilled the coffee while handing it over--no apology, just a dismissive attitude. This is unacceptable behavior, especially toward someone with a disability. It's disappointing and frankly shocking to be treated this way by a place I've supported for so long. A business that claims to be inclusive should know the law and treat people with basic respect. I won't be coming back. read more

With plentiful tables inside, the coffeeshop seems like a great spot for a coffee date or if you're just looking to get some work done. Service was friendly and my drink was pretty good too. I had ordered one of their seasonal specials, the Blue Jasmine Matcha, which they make by soaking jasmine tea in almond milk overnight and adding matcha and simple syrup to it. All in all, seems like a great spot. Note: Ideology is located in the heart of Glendale, where parking is often an issue. This place was rated really well, which is why I suggested meeting my friend here for coffee. She got there first and ordered a green tea latte and a lox bagel. I ordered the same drink with skim milk and the avocado bagel. My bagel came out before hers but only had cream cheese. I went up to the counter and the lady told me I ordered the cream cheese. I specifically remembered ordering the avocado because she asked if I wanted to avocado toast or bagel. They corrected my order. My friend's lox bagel never came out or maybe they gave it to someone else? So they had to remake it. Overall the drinks were good. The way they do the bagels is a bit inefficient as they put them together like a sandwich, rather them eating them with the toppings, on top. Cute, little coffee shop in center Glendale, this place serves up Verve coffee in a light-frill setting and minimalist environs. Plenty of small tables great for focus work or some personal study time, this place is great for a short stop for refreshing cup of coffee. The verdant paper and artwork make for relaxing pieces to gawk at between sips and typing session on the computer. The service is friendly and quite quick for my lavender latte, and the music comfy for a coffeehouse feel. But there aren't many outlets to charge my laptop. Glad this place is getting more coffee shop love, and I'm hoping there will be more branding and focus for a more lovely experience next time around! read more
