My tech was really sweet (Ivy). We didn't speak much but she did my shape and length perfectly. Chris is who finished my nails and seemed to be so dang sweet - he finished off my set with white tips and made sure that shape was even more on point than I could imagine. The inside of this salon is a girly - girls dream. I visited this place on a Thursday night after work, and got a pink and white solar set. I would definitely return. The only reason I knocked a star off is because the day before, that Wednesday - I booked an appointment online and received a text to 'wait for confirmation'. But I never received the confirmation. And when I called they didn't have my appointment. So i was a little unhappy with that, but decided to walk in instead the next evening - which I am glad I did. Late post but necessary... So I haven't gotten my nails done in quite some time and when I do get gel-x I think I typically just do it one time and won't get them redone for a while again. This time when I went (back in Feb) with an old gel-x set, I asked for a fill. Again I don't normally make it to this process with gel-x, but the nail techs acted confused, but then said only one person, Ivy, knows how to do that. When Ivy started I got the sense she didn't actually know and this is probably something she just made up lol, because apparently you don't fill gel-x, you take them off and start over!!!! They were not cute but I was pressed for time and the longer I started at them the more I noticed how bad they looked. Instead of just saying that there is no fill for gel-x they just bs'd thru it and charged me $5 less than a normal set!!! So they really could have just done it the right way lol and I wouldn't be writing this!! Then just a week later the paint chips off smh HORRIBLE. read more

I came in for a soak off on the acrylic set I had, and then a new set with gel. The lady went from finishing a pedicure over to my table to do my set. Didn't clean a single one of her tools after being on someone's feet with them. Used disgusting nail files and buffers. But figured they couldn't screw up a soak off. She did. Went in with the electric file first to get through most of the acrylic, which is fine. Then I soaked. Then she went BACK OVER soft acrylic and destroyed my nails with the e-file. They were long and thick under my acrylic and now she filed them paper thin. I told her no thanks on the new set and paid for the soak and left. RUN from this place. I went in for a gel manicure and regular pedicure as a walk in which they were able to promptly seat me for. Unfortunately, my nails started chipping within two days and I was unable to get anyone to help me with a redo. Gel manicures should not chip within a week! I am so sad, I really like the employees here- SO KIND. However, I have come multiple times and had my nails broken days after I got them done. I have been coming here every month for four months. Every time I have gotten a new nail tech and I can honestly say that everyone I have had here is great. I have high standards when it comes to my nails and If I am going to pay good money for them (and tip) I expect them to last me 3 weeks minimum. I have not been disappointed! I have a picture to show them of exactly what I want and every time it is done correctly. Which in terms of actual nail salons is remarkable because other salons have been hit or miss in my experience. They are also reasonably priced in comparison to stand alone techs, but it does vary on what you get. Overall, great experience so far and this is now my go to spot. read more

I have mixed reviews on this place. The first time I tried Idol, Donna did my nails and did an amazing job. Since then, three times since, has been completely awful. The second time I had a dip service completed by one of the men at the spa. The overlay was extremely uneven the the nail shape wasn't the best either. I've gone two times for a pedicure and this was the final straw for me. My pedicure was rushed. The lines on my French tip are blurred, the shaping is uneven, and the white residue from the acetone to "clean" the white nail polish is noticeable around the perimeter of my toe nails. I was referred to this place to Chris as he does amazing nail designs. The first time I went, I got my nails done for Grapefest. I wanted dip with a black tip French manicure and a design on two of my fingers. They looked great. For a day. Chris did gel for the black French manicure instead of dip like I asked for, and it wore off easily making my nails look a mess. They chipped all week and in 6 days, I went back to have them removed, complained, nothing was done to compensate me. I set an appointment for right before my vacation to get my nails done. I went a week earlier and picked out the teal sparkle color for my toes and found a dip to match for my nails for my appt later that week. I even explained that, but when I went in for my appointment today, Chris wasn't working. I set that appointment a month ago! Would have been nice if someone would have told me that he wasn't going to be there. I went to 6 other nail salons trying to find the teal sparkle color to match my toes and ended up having to go home with my nails not done at all. Now I have no time to get my nails done before my vacation and I am PISSED. What is the point in scheduling an appointment if the stylist won't even be there!? I do NOT recommend this place. Usually they do a really good job. This time I was disappointed...I've had my nails less than a week, and this is the second one that has broken off. I am not rough on nails- I work at a desk all day. This just isn't high quality work. They had a new person do my nails, and then when the first nail broke they had the same lady fix it. I have visited this salon on multiple occasions and have always had a decent experience up until today. I walked in (as walk-ins are advertised) for a pedicure today and was immediately seated in a chair. I waited for about 15 mins for someone to start on my pedicure. 3 white women walked in and were immediately seated as well and the tech who was about to start my pedicure got up, told me "one minute" then proceeded to start on one of their pedicures. There was also a male tech who was sitting in a seat on his phone while I waited but immediately got up to start their service when they were seated. I dried off my feet, got up and asked to speak to a manager. The manager informed me that they all had appointments, which I completely understand but it is very embarrassing and disgusting to have someone disregard me and my patience when the situation could have been handled much differently. At the very least, I could have been serviced and one of the women could have gotten her pedicure by a tech that was finishing up on another customer. Her wait most definitely would have been shorter than how long I waited. This salon has just lost a loyal customer and I urge anyone who is looking for a new nail shop to look elsewhere. read more

So I came here before with my mom in law and daughter. I was charged $40 for the first time getting the dip powder. I liked it so I decided to come back again to get a fill. Well I went today and this time I brought 2 extra people with me. My mom and sister tagged along with my mom in law and daughter. We all got the dip powder besides my daughter. Turns out my mom was charged $35 (her nails were short) my sister was charged $40 (she had the tip added) but this time I was charged $45 to get the SAME EXACT THING LIKE LAST TIME. Why was I charged $5 more?!!! I got the same length like last time. I even gave a $5 tip for the work. I asked the manager which was a man there why this time the same lady charged $5 on top? He said because of the length and I said it's the same length as last time then he says well maybe because she liked you last time! Who says that? What manager says that to a customer? So because you like me one day you charge me $40 & next time you want to charge $45? Nope.. I don't agree with that. After this experience I WILL NEVER GO BACK AGAIN! I don't care how close it is but if they're not going to be consistent on my nails price I will take my money else where. This was my first time here and most definitely the last. I got a manicure and pedicure on 12/24. The manicure was okay and I pointed out that my manicure were not done right. The lady attempted to fix it but it was still not the service I expected. I left them a generous tip, as I would any any other nail salon. I called them 3 days later to report the issue and the lady said there's nothing they can do about it but charge me to redo my pedicure. I haven't been here in a huge minute due to a not so good experience around 2 years ago, BUT since recently Idol Nails has transitioned into new management I decided to give them a try once again. The inside of the salon has been updated and let me tell y'all it looks so pretty Pink everywhere I love it!! Customer service was very well presented as well. I went in for a pedicure and I enjoyed it. Cleanliness and sanitation is taken serious here. Nail polishes aren't on the wall like any other salon instead there are books and the colors are inside. I got a regular nail polish pedi only thing is that there should be more options available as far as the regular polish goes. Ms.Natalie did my pedi and she did a great job! She was really sweet and offered me a mango smoothie that they got going on and it was pretty good since they added some tajin to it Her service was well presented! She sprayed something onto my nails I just forgot to ask what it was , but whatever that spray was, I loved!! It made my nail polish look shinier!! After being done I went to go pay out and well they have like a reward program going on so I signed up because who doesn't like getting points when shopping?
