Fun place to get a drink, a bite and people watch from above. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was chill and relaxing.

The goodness stops with the friendly staff and the Mojito! I've had Jambalaya numerous times and this has to be the worst representation of a classic dish. The chicken was a frozen mess, the shrimp tasted like wet noodles, the rice could have fed a family of 12 and the sausage tasted like a stale hotdog. The My wife took 2 bites of Chicken Taco salad and called it quits!

So good 1/4 rack per spices.

Every time I on the "One happy Island " of Aruba, I always come here for dinner. Jerk chicken is one of my fav, but this time I got ribs done 4 ways. So tastie , finger licking good. The service is always great Snd friendly n funny. Highly recommended. Tuesday. Tuesday. Tuesday. ( inside joke)

We were lucky to try multiple dishes during a festival from their food truck and everything was all so tasty, especially the tender meats, seasoned perfectly! While I was waiting in line I was able to watch the amazing process of putting everything together, rice, etc. This is a wonderful family owned business that creates the best Jamaican food around! The meat was tender and packed with flavor, simmered in a savory gravy with onions and peppers that soaked perfectly into the rice and peas. The cabbage on the side added a nice, lighter contrast and rounded the whole plate out. It felt hearty, comforting, and made with patience. The team there is friendly, the vibe is relaxed, and the portions are generous. I walked out full and already planning what I'm ordering next time. Easy five stars from me.

Everything was really, really good. Seasoning was on point and nothing was overly spicy. Both meats were super tender with excellent flavor! The cabbage wasn't anything to write home about. It was just cabbage. The rice and peas were yummy! The minus one star is because I didn't like that there were four small oxtails. For the price of $27 I was expecting at least one big one. I also didn't like the amount of bones in my brown stewed chicken lunch plate and the little amount of meat given. But then again, it was a lunch plate so I get it. Those patties were everything and the plantains were chefs kiss!! Hands down the BEST Jamaican food that we've had in AZ! Give them a try!

As…read moresomeone who lives in Chandler, I'm more than happy to drive all the way out here because this place serves what I believe is the best Jamaican food in the entire Phoenix area. The authentic Jamaican jerk chicken was packed with flavor--perfectly spiced, smoky, and tender. The oxtail was just as impressive, falling-off-the-bone tender and rich with that classic Caribbean taste. The coconut peas and rice were fresh, fluffy, and delicious, with just the right balance of coconut sweetness and savory notes. Everything tasted homemade and full of soul. For dessert, we had the pineapple upside-down cake, and it quickly became a family favorite. It was served warm, which made the flavors and textures even better--moist, caramelized pineapple on top with that perfect hint of spice. My kids loved it so much they were fighting over the last bites! My son also ordered the island punch drink, and he couldn't stop raving about how tasty it was. The guava flavor really came through and made it incredibly refreshing. From the warm hospitality to the generous portions and spot-on flavors, Topnotch Island Flavor Kitchen delivered an amazing experience. If you're craving real Jamaican food in the Valley, make the trip--you won't regret it. We'll definitely be back soon!

When you're done eating, you simply go back to the front to pay. Also, I think it's really cool that they have the table of local business cards as well. One of the things that I immediately lived about this place was that many of the dishes have sizes. I almost never finish a regular size plate, and ordered the smaller serving size, which was still a lot of food (my son has to finish mine for me). The portions were quite large. I loved the little extra touch of the flower garnish. I ordered the jerk chicken with fried plantains. This jerk chicken comes in a sauce, rather than the dry rub you sometimes see in jerk chicken. Authentic Jamaican served right in Chandler AZ. We were warmly welcomed upon entering the establishment. After weighing various options on an extensive menu. I decided on the tilapia fillets Escovitch style with the side of steamed vegetables (shredded cabbage and carrots that was amazing) and festivals. My wife opted Bone in brown stew chicken with a side of rice & beans and festivals. The wait for the food to served was reasonable given that it was apparent it had been made fresh upon being served. The fish was deliciously seasoned and lightly breaded. The escovitch sauce was the perfect complement for both the fish and the cabbage. My wife's bone in brown stew chicken was amazing as well the chicken was so tender it was falling off the bone and was perfectly seasoned. The gravy for the stew was plentiful and added an additional taste when added to the beans and rice. Portions were large with enough leftovers for another meal when we finished eating. The atmosphere was welcoming and friendly with a consistent flow of carryout orders and dine-in customers. I would highly recommend Ocean Blue Caribbean and look forward to our next visit.
