When I go home to see family, we will go in here to have lunch. I've had quite a few things off the menu. Enjoyed all of them so far. They have a taco day on Thursdays. Dollar and two dollar or three dollar tacos. I have a few the other day when I was there. The Barbacoa and the El pastor. Very tasty. And the ground beef taco. Hope everything is spelled correctly. A friend of ours told us about iguanas Mexican restaurant in Moorseville so the wife and I decided to try it today. It's in a strip mall cute little place. We walked in and we're promptly seated. The menu was huge. The chips and salsa were delicious. I ask to try the tomatillos Sauce, it was very tasty and had a kick to it, made my nose run. We decided to split the shrimp tacos. They were huge with lots of cilantro, avocado, and what tasted almost like Yum Yum sauce when you bid into it it had a smoky flavor. We couldn't figure it out until the wife said the huge shrimp were bacon wrapped. It's pretty tasty. We will be going back. read more

I've been here twice (so far). The service and food have been great both times. The menu is a bit haphazard. Look around at the walls and at the entrance to see the various daily specials. I had the quesobirra tacos. The meat had minimal fat and the taco was fried to perfection. Be warned that it is A LOT of food. The taco platter comes with three hefty tacos, plus rice and beans. We also tried the chipotle dip, which was queso dip plus chipotle sauce. It was very good, if a bit thin. It would be great if they could add some thickener so that it stayed on the chips. There is an extensive margarita list and you can order them on the rocks or frozen. The hubby ordered a blackberry margarita and it came with real blackberries. It wasn't overly sweet and he had the option of a plain, sugar, or salt rim. Service is friendly and fast. The prices are reasonable. There are ample spots in the parking lot. While the ambiance is just a view of the parking lot, they do have several outdoor tables. read more

This is a nice little Mexican restaurant in the big strip mall (the one with Ollie's and Tractor Supply) on Highway 67. Thay have the usual suspects (tacos, enchiladas, burritos, etc) l, but the real attractions here are the drinks and daily drink specials. They have all manner of fruit-flavored margaritas (made with real fruit) and they are cheap. read more

As you can see below, this was supposed to be a chile relleno. As I pointed out to the young man who checked me out, how can one call this a chile relleno when there is no chile to stuff? (Relleno is stuffed in Spanish) This was actually a glob of ground beef with cheese on top no chile to be seen. Embarrassing. Having owned a place in Playa Del Carmen Mexico for 12 years, I'm used to mediocre Mexican food in the Midwest. Having said that, this might be the most disappointing place yet. We had take out, the order was a simple one of a bean and cheese burrito- cold and it had sauce over it making it a wet burrito. Chips and salsa- nothing to write home about or ask for again, the quesadillas... well wife will pass on comments on this and finally the guacamole... homemade and chunky, but a tad to much cilantro for me.... We eat here twice a week, Tuesday half price for seniors, and Thursday for $1 tacos and have never had a complaint. We are always treated well by the staff and by now they know what we want before we even sit down. Typical Mexican food selection that always comes to our table hot and what we expect. read more

Varied menu and very good food. In fact there may be to many choices. They have 3 bean choices compared to the stand refried pinto beans at most Mexican restaurants. The place is clean and service prompt. This is the first time for me here but ill be coming back as i think its better than the other Mexican places in the area. read more

If there was a zero star option I would give this place that. We wasted 30 dollars on the worst Mexican "If you can call it that" food. I will never go back...My husband can eat basically anything and be good and he wouldn't even eat it. :( read more
