Enjoy a delicious flounder dinner today. It was seasoned to perfection, with the perfect crisp. Service was wonderful, the manage even came by our table to greet us. The ambiance was pleasant.

One of the few places open on Christmas Day for dinner. The restaurant was fully decorated for Christmas inside and out. They even make it snow every few minutes. The service was friendly and very good. The dinners all come hush puppies, and one side. I got the fired shrimp and fries. The shrimp were good size, and lightly coated. My wife had the clams and said they were good and well seasoned. My daughter had the mahi and the shrimp combo. Nice size piece of fish and cooked just right.

Absolutely a MUST when at St Simons! At the pier & SUPER quaint! Great prices, very friendly staff, DELICIOUS food & a great patio to watch the world go round. I believe I need to come back every day through the rest of our visit to the island.

While it's an interesting place and the staff is friendly the food was just so/so. The raw oysters were medium size and not shucked properly. The crab bisque soup very thick but somewhat tasteless. The shrimp platters were ok but the po boy was good. The onion rings while fresh were just warm and soggy. I think the best part is the feee soft serve ice cream at the end.

A must return kind of establishment! Between the scrumptious food, ambience and excellent staff, I couldn't have had a better experience! Big Mike was the manager and Roland was my server. Only positive perspectives about both gentleman comes to mind! I had a house salad, crab cake, calamari and pear martinis. Each one was delicious. When I return to the area, I'll be sure to return!

We ended up going here twice during our stay. The first time our server was Jade. She was great. They have a nice selection of beer and we tried a few. All were good but our favorite was the Harps UFO. Entrees were Calamari, Coconut Shrimp, shrimp scampi, shrimp dinner, BLT and Fish sandwich. All excellent. It's a cute place with colorful decor. The seats could be more comfortable but that's fine. Oh and for dessert- free ice cream.

We come here for lunch every Georgia Florida football weekend. Great fresh seafood and large menu including a separate gluten free menu. Friendly fast service. Nice outdoor seating. Yummy cocktails.

    The fried shrimp appetizer.

Waiter/service was ok, food was ok and price was ok. Waiter did not tell us about the lunch specials. I ordered the fried shrimp (what Iguanas is known for) appetizer and onion rings which counted as a side. My biggest disappointment was that the portion size was underwhelming- 6 pieces of small to medium sized fried shrimp for $12.99. Given the size of shrimp 8-10 pieces would have been appropriate. Other meals ordered by my party were more generous but just average in taste. I would rate iguanas with 2.5 stars if the rating system allowedbest With all of the restaurant choices on the island I doubt I will be back to iguanas.

We were looking for a light lunch in St. Simon's before heading out to Jekyll and Florida. Iquanas fit the bill. Nice cold ice tea and the shrimp sampler with a side salad and coleslaw was delicious. The buffalo shrimp were just zippy enough. Friendly and efficient service. Enjoyable sitting out on the patio watching folks walk by. Plus the bonus of complimentary soft serve ice cream after the meal was perfect way to end lunch.

Food was OK. Drinks were not impressive. Pet friendly which is not a plus for us. The make your own sundae feature was cool.

She not only kept up with all of our shenanigans but gave it right back, which made the experience even more fun. Attentive, personable, and just a great vibe all around. We started with peach martinis (highly recommend) along with the fried okra, crab soup, wedge salad, and beet salad. Everything was fresh and full of flavor--great way to kick off the meal. For the main course we tried the flounder prepared a few different ways--one fried, one pan-seared, and one bronzed--and each one was fantastic. And then two orders of scallops which were incredibly buttery and cooked perfectly. We wrapped it all up with a slice of Georgia pecan pie that was the perfect sweet ending. Great food, great service, and a really fun night. We'll definitely be back.

She knows every dish they prepare and explained anything we asked. Absolutely a delight. We had the fried pimento cheese with a Tabasco sauce- so very good and crab stuffed hush puppies. The hush puppies are served on a jalapeño sauce that is top notch. Loved it! For our entrees, husband had triple tail pan roasted with Fingerling Potatoes, Andouille Sausage, Sweet Peppers, Corn, Cipollini Onions, Wilted Kale, Roasted Garlic Aioli. I had swordfish bronzed served with Hoppin' John, Tomato Cream, Pickled Okra. Everything was fresh and prepared well. Go!

One piece of advice.....stay away from the scallops. Worst scallops I've ever had. Ordered them grilled but they looked like they had been boiled and covered with heavy spice.....terrible! All the other meals looked great but they really need to simplify the scallops. It's not that hard to do.

Stellar cocktails, friendly service, great views, modern design aesthetic, and incredible food. My only gripe is that they do not take reservations, though even on a Friday night, I've been able to get seated within 20-30 minutes, and you can always grab a drink from the bar and hang out on the lawn while you wait. This most recent visit, I started with the seafood chowder, one of my favorite soups on the island. Creamy, hearty, with plenty of fish, shrimp, crab, and potatoes. Shared a crabcake with my girlfriend--another solid choice, with plenty of crab, not too heavy on the filling, and with a lovely remoulade. For mains, we both had the grilled redfish, a baked potato for me, and mixed veggies for her. Perfectly cooked pieces of fish with a nice crust on the outside while still being moist and tender. Dessert this time was the chocolate pie, which was quite nice, not being too heavy nor excessively sweet. Did I mention the cocktails? I'm a big fan of the smokey mango Fiddlerita (a mezcal take on the classic marg), and the saladito a close second (again, mezcal, but with a little honey and cayenne). The girlfriend enjoys the basil smash (hold the simple syrup, please). Previously, we've tried the artichoke dip, which is also fantastic, shrimp and grits (solid, but Reid's does it better), blackened tripletail over creamy leek sauce (a special, and special indeed), and the key lime pie (excellent). You really can't go wrong here.
