ihop corporate you are failing and not paying attention to your customer review regarding this cedar park ihop location. warning-beware-warning! this is the worst ihop i have ever been too! filthy, service sucks, it was so cold in there that the minute the food got to the table it was ice cold. every 30 seconds i had to add more coffee to my cup because it was starting to get cold. if you like to eat cold food especially cold eggs and sausage this is the place for you. order came out wrong and 1 minute late was returned to the table ice cold. old fat grey waitress was a smart ass to my partner. he ordered a hamburger and asked to have swiss cheese put on it and she goes "well you should have ordered a cheeseburger then, is that what you want?" what a bitch. i can see why the past two visits the place is never busy. shut it down please the place is filthy. talked with the manager and he had an "i don't give a fuck attitude" our meal should have been comped. we should have walked out and not paid a dime for shitty service. i am calling corporate about this craphole . i love ihop but this location takes the cake (frozen cake). this place should be shut down permanently! poor all the way around. i will never go back again. people read the reviews they are 90% 1 star. that should tell you all you need to know! read more

Stench. This restaurant wreaks unclean. I think they use dirty wet rags to wipe their tables down. They clearly don't shampoo their carpets. Their food would be fine if you're hungover or drunk. Food is alright. Came in to eat breakfast on a Saturday morning and waited 20 minutes to get seated for a party of 3. Then, got seated by our waiter Trey (he did a fantastic job, and probably the only reason we stayed) & got the food maybe 30 minutes later. The order was correct & food was room temp. Only thing i liked was that our waiter checked up on us a lot and actually seemed to like his job. He was very respectful and had all the qualities a waiter should have so props to him! Waiter was super friendly. Colorado Omlete was loaded with roast beef. Next to no veggies. I gave it a chance then I told the waiter he got his manager who gave me this "yeah it's pot roast" and then offered to remake it, no thanks already ate half of it dry as hell, then offered to bring a "side" of veggies. No thanks, just letting you know the Omlete was not what I ordered he said "thanks for letting me know". Seriously??? Just comp the bill for goodness sakes. We came in after our teenage boys football game around 9:30pm on Friday, 8/30/18. Our server was Dylan and he was just about the best server ever. He was so kind, friendly, enthusiastic, and checked back on us often to check our water situation and informed us of the status of our food. Just a sweet kid. The wait time for our food could have been a little quicker, but....every single item we ordered was amazing. The boys each had an omelet and those were perfection. My husband had the chicken fried steak and he loved it and commented how tender the meat was. I had a burger and fries and the taste of the burger was awesome. I made a point to tell our server, Dylan, how good the food was and I heard him give a shout out to the cooks in the back who often go unappreciated. See... sweet kid. That is another reason I wanted to give a great review. My husband and I talked about every time we have been to Ihop (we are local), it has been really pretty darn good so we wanted to give make sure to leave this great review. I ordered a simple order over the phone to come in and wait 20mins to be told it's not even being prepared because the lady who took my order never placed it. What a joke! I've always had excellent service and food at this ihop. I see some low ratings, but my experiences have always been good ones. For an iHop they're just fine. This location does get quite busy between 11-2pm on weekends, so don't be surprised if you have a short wait. read more

We come here very often.. today it was busy like I expected . I walked in to put my name down and the manager it seemed like was super rude and had a strong attitude with me that almost made me want to leave . But I was craving those pancakes our server was amazing super nice and full on refills . The next complaint was a piece of hair in my eggs that my fiancé swore was mine but didn't look like it. Christmas morning breakfast at IHop has been a family tradition of ours for many years and has always been a good experience....until this year. We were a table of 6 and when we went to unwrap our flatware, all of it looked dirty because there were water spots on it, but a few of our forks actually had dried food particles on them! Eww! When we brought this to the attention of the manager, we barely got an apology. He had waitstaff bring out new flatware, which still had water spots all over it. No mention of it was brought up again while we were there. Just c'mon! How hard is it to polish flatware? And maybe if someone actually did this they would catch the rejects? Before you decide to eat at this location...but absolutely craving IHOP, then go to the 620 location off 183 which is a 4 mile drive down from this location. The service at this location is horrible...horrible management and sad because 80% of the waiters are young kids...who don't know the first thing of delivering a brand or customer service. No greeting when you walk in...very transactional staff who don't make your dine in experience fun. Disappointed because I have lived in this area 9 years and finally decided enough was enough. Quite possibly the worst dining experience I've ever had. My wife and 3 kids and I stopped in at IHOP because my youngest was craving the funny face pancake and my other two wanted crepes. From the beginning it was bad. The waiter spilled my water all over my legs and shoes. He then messed up 3 of the 5 orders. The food took 25 minutes to get to us and there was only one other table seated in the entire restaurant. Some of the food was cold. He then charged us for two entrees we didn't even order, in addition to all the food we did order. Five Stars ffor the Food, which is always perfectly prepared, tasty, and not too expensive. Five Stars for the Waitstaff, who are friendly and as efficient as they can be considering that sometimes the place is seriously under-staffed. I will continue to eat here because of those two qualities which cannot always be found elsewhere. One Star for the music that is a bit too loud. One Star for the fact that I had to seat myself since no one was there to seat me nor did anyone passing by seat me. A Hostess appeared later on when I was well into my meal. I usually wait about a year and think, maybe they have their crap together, but it's always the same! IHOPs in general struggle to understand the meaning of "hot," but this one was the worst all around. The wait time wasn't bad for a Saturday morning, but once seated, everything slowed to a frustrating pace. We got our drink orders in 5-10 minutes but waited over 30 minutes for our food. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. To start off we noticed the table across from us had dirty silverware so they gave her new ones. Well, those were dirty too so she had to go wash them in the bathroom herself. That made me check ours and ours were filthy also so we did the exact same thing and I watched so many tables having to ask for new silverware. Service was very slow we sat for one hour and watched 4 other tables get their food that sat down after us get their food while we were still waiting for ours. My husband and I came in very late the other night prolly around 1230ish. We were seating quickly and given menus. Our waiter was a nice young gent that grabbed our drink order quickly (two waters and a coffee) he came back out with water and apologized to my husband that it was going to be a couple mins he wanted to brew a fresh pot. It was only two mins and he was back out with the coffee and checked in on to see if we had any questions about the menu or if we were ready to order. Didn't have to ask for refills on our drinks he would just come out with a new one. My food did get messed up but he caught it as soon and he set the plate on the table and ran to he back to talk to the cook... I didn't even realize anything was wrong with it. I had ordered migas and got something else ( basically migas with shredded beef in it) I told him I was ok with it and he made sure is wasn't charged for the wrong thing. Our bill was brought to us promptly and I never felt like we were neglected. The only reason they are missing a star is because we had to sit next to a bunch 16 year old kids that more than likely snuck outta there house to go eat pancakes on a school night. read more

I give it two stars because the food wasn't bad at all the problem was our server of he can be called that his name was jefe and he was by far the worst server I ever had, first off he rushed us to order secondly he acted like we were bothering him by being in his section, the food came out quickly which I was pleased with he asked if we needed anything else ketchup etc we asked for some ketchup he came back with it and literally dropped it on the table this mad me a bit upset then he never came back to check on us or refill our glasses which sat empty for half of out meal, until he brought us the check keep in mind we still had food on our plates he asked of we wanted to go cups I told him we did want a refill but we were not done eating yet he said ok I'll bring you some more drinks like it was a problem for him to do so! I've decided to quit coming here, because each time I do, I leave with a bad taste in my mouth. The manager, an older gentleman always at the front, is very rude. When you arrive to pick up an order or place one, he will literally ignore you until he cannot ignore you anymore. He's never friendly and acts like it's a chore to help you. I tried placing an order with him, and he refused to write down my requests. I found a better restaurant not much further away. I guess he figures that my business isn't worth it. read more

this place is by no means a 5 star restaurant, but i know that when coming in. i don't always expect to get the best services at these types of restaurants which is OKAY. if i wanted a 5 star place to go to, IHOP would not be the place to go. the food was great! it came out HOT! which i was skeptical about because of previous reviews. i did come by myself so i cant speak on how it would have been with more people in my party but i loved my food. the service was mediocre. my waiter was very nice but only came back once to see how i was doing. but again, i didn't come in with high expectations. the hostess was....interesting. she would come to grab people to take them to their tables and then disappear for 5 minutes. she was kind of like a sloth when it came to grabbing the silverware and menus but it was entertainment for me. she also got my water twice for me which was very nice! i came here to kill time as i am from out of town but if i were to come back to this area, i would definitely return! the food was great and i had a great time! read more

I have been to this location about 10 or so time. The food is okay but I have stopped going to this location due to the constant bickering and yelling of managers/servers and cooks. They do not plate an entire dish at the same time because some of my food (eggs and hash browns) are cold and pancakes and bacon are just warm...nothing is ever hot. Appetizers take forever to come out. We had an a appetizer taken to the table and 2 minutes later our main dishes were taken to the table. The last time I went with my husband, we waited 5 minutes before we were acknowledged. The "Greeter" was in the back office/kitchen talking. We were seated in a booth near the kitchen. The entire time we were there the manager (an older lady) kept arguing with a cook. She said to him a few times "If you do not do what I tell you to do I am going to drug test you right now" She said it a few times and loud enough for guest to hear. On previous visits there are a few servers that just gossip and do not tend to customers as they should. Servers just walk by you when you are trying to get them to come over to your table. Even though I LOVE IHOP...I HATE THIS LOCATION and will not be returning. read more
