This IHOP and the one on 183N are both awful, same owners too evident by their WiFi password. The eggs and bacon are overcooked. The eggs taste like microwaved eggs. The service is terrible. I got a nice hair in my omelette. Literally counted 13 flies up against the wall within a 4 x 6 area on the wall next to my booth. I am no longer going to IHOP in Austin. Not worth going back after 21 months later and still the food and service sucks. 40 minutes to cook lousy tasting chicken fajita omelets that are half the size of the other locations near by. Shorted one pancake at food delivery to the table. Sour cream and salsa shorted at food delivered to the table. We won't be back for a couple of years again. Time visited was at 11pm Less than 5 tables Waitress said cook was tired and forgot our stuff we asked for although she took the order and delivered it without the purchased items. we ordered from Uber eats. It's not far away. The eggs are unseasoned. The sausage is soggy and cool. They haves us extra hashbrowns ‍ idk if they charged us for that. Our food was barely warm. We don't have a microwave in our hotel room. We wanted to ask for extra syrup and butter and ketchup, when we called the restaurant a recording said "we cannot pick up because we are busy with other customers, have a nice day". They didn't redirect or have me on hold or call back or anything. It's like they don't wanna fix things. They gave us one tiny, half filled cup of gravy (the only thing that was warm), it wasn't that good either. I could by and beat pre made gravy from a store that's better. And the was an expensive meal. We were splurging because we finally had money to, and we wasted it on this disappointing meal. I'm very sad idk how to get a refund. read more

If you are a late night guest, this is for you. A few of my friends and I went to Ihop around 3 am. We stood at the host stand for 10 minutes without being greeted or seated. long after waiting and looking around, we decided to seat ourselves, so we grabbed our menus and silverware and chose a table close to the servers section she was already in. After sitting at our table for a few minutes, the server finally came up to us with an uncertain look on her face, almost as if she was disgusted to see us and told us "sooo I was gonna tell you that we arent serving anyone anymore." Keep in mind IHOP is 24 hours and ive never been denied service ever. The server continued on and said "the kitchen is just backed up, and im the only server here because our overnight girl left and i get off at 4 so im trying to leave but i have to clean all these tables(3 dirty tables) off and i have all these tables right now(2 other tables) so yeahh" I wouldnt of minded if the server approached the situation in a professional manner but she did not. I work in the restaurant industry to i understand to a point. I know it is stressful being the only server on, the kitchen only having 1 cook, and wanting to be out by a certain time. Came here late one night as I was craving chicken fried steak and this was the only nearby place serving it at midnight on a Tuesday. I tried ordering it on the phone so I could pick up, however the phone line was busy for at least a half hour. Finally decided just to go in, place my order, and wait. Waited in the lobby for 30 minutes before I got my food. When I got home and opened the container, there was no gravy. Also, and perhaps the most disturbing part of the meal, there was a short black hair clearly poking out of the top of the mashed potatoes (which by the way looked like they were made atleast 12 hours prior as they looked yeasty like a roll). I was so grossed out and frustrated I ended up just throwing the meal away. I used to think iHop was a decent place...but I think this experience has ruined it for me forever. read more

Dirtiest restaurant I've ever been in. I should have left when I realized my shoes were sticking to the floor. Our table had been "cleaned" and it was still sticky. Sat down and attempted to order drinks - my kids were fussy and took a moment to decide what to drink - they're kids 4 & 5....Server seemed annoyed but didn't say anything. When she brought drinks, she brought sugar for the coffee, we asked for sweetener instead of sugar because my mom is diabetic. She didn't answer for a few seconds, rolled her eyes, and then when we asked if that was a problem she was very rude and we asked if she could be kinder - When we got no response, we stated that we would be going elsewhere, for better service. She said she wasn't being rude and sarcastically said have a nice day as she rolled her eyes again. As a former waiter, I know that the job can be frustrating. But it is the service industry - and I would never be so passive aggressive to my customers. It was uncomfortable from the moment we sat down. I think IHOP food is pretty good. No complaints there. However, they have a waitress with short grey hair that is so grumpy you walk away in a daze asking yourself what just happened. She's impatient, barks orders at customers, and scolds you like a child. We weren't difficult customers and the restaurant wasn't busy. It just seems to be her demeanor. Craving waffles and IHOP was close. It was crazy busy but we were seated in about 10 minutes. Our server Deja was running between tables and one was a large party. She exhibited a FANTASTIC display of teamwork- having someone jump in to help bring drinks etc as she worked her tables. We were not forgotten and got everything within an average wait time. APPRECIATE THE AWESOME JOB! Too many times waitstaff gets overloaded and rather having others help- forgets to check in with all their tables etc. Not the case here! read more

This is the last time I visit any IHOP. Only reason I ate here was ny daughter really wanted pancakes. Restaurant was far from being crowded as it was a Wednesday evening, but it took forever for anyone to notice we were waiting on a table. Waitress was a nice HS girl and was very pleasant. The problem wasnt the service, but the food. Ordered tea and right away noticed something floating. Spooned it out and found slime. Checked my daughter's water and it looked ok. Sent it back and just ordered water instead. Order took longer than it should for pancakes and eggs (not a difficult thing to prepare) and when the eggs did arrive, they were undercooked. Daughter's pancakes looked fine, but really hard to mess those up. I've had similar issues with IHOP in the past and really thought they'd improve. Guess I was wrong. read more

We went to this IHOP location a few nights ago. Considering every other restaurant in Cedar Park closes at 10, we decided we'd give it a go. I ordered the "Spicy Ranch Chicken Sandwich" or something like that. I was expecting a little bit more on the spicy side, but in the end, I just got the taste of nothing. It wasn't terrible, but I probably won't get it again. The REAL showstopper was my dad's burnt fried chicken (photo to come later). He couldn't pull the skin off because it was so hard. He joked, "I could kill someone with this." He said the oil was probably bad, and at the end of a busy Saturday, that may have been the case. He called over someone who seemed to be a manager. Her name was Marciela. She was very attentive to his complaints, and she went to go get him another plate of chicken. In the time it took for it to come back, everyone else practically finished their food. The new chicken was better, but he still didn't really like it. All in all, it was an okay experience. The 3 stars is for the willingness of the staff to take care of the problems immediately. read more

I LOVE going to IHOP and getting the plate with the eggs, pancakes, and sausage. IHOP is one of the best pancake places I've ever been to. The eggs are always great, the pancakes are always at the perfect temperature and they are always the perfect flavor of pancake and I just would love to just eat them all day. read more

my boyfriend and i came here to pick up a togo order this morning and we ordered 2 combos with large drinks. when we got the "large" drinks they were about the size of shot glasses. also we ordered an extra egg with the combo. we didn't receive the extra egg or hash browns only two tiny ass eggs and some toast. I tried to call and resolve the problem and the lady that answered was VERY rude proceeding to tell me how i'm wrong because she made me order even though i'm clearly missing food. read more

When you first arrive the first problem is it take 60 years to get seated at a table. Then once you arrive at the table the booths are stiff and straight up which makes for very uncomfortable seating. the food took a short amount of time to arrive but the customer service was terrible and not very friendly. the silverware was not cleaned and tables were still dirty when seated. overall not very satisfied. read more

Just picked up my ToGo order and was asked if I wanted my change back ($1.82). Then went over the order without removing all the the bagged items (very busy). Waited 5mins plus for my $1.82 change and decided it was a tip and left. Got home (18mins away) and the order was 30% wrong and missing items. Unfortunately I'm not going back to this IHOP. At about 1:30pm more than half empty. We asked for a booth, there were plenty and available booths. The hostess advised us we would not be served if we sit there.?? I went to the restroom to wash my hands and it was not clean and trash can was overflowing. The restaurant floor had not been swept crumbs all over the floor. While 2 employees were cleaning front windows and others chatting. Cleanliness is key . Every single time me and my family visit this terrible location, we are met with hostesses with bad attitudes followed by dirty silverware and dirty tables. To make the experience even worse, the waitresses and waiters stop by your table once to take your order and once to give you the bill, nothing in between. After they take the bill, you'll wait a good 10-15 minutes to get it back. Absolutely the WORST customer service at a restaurant I've ever seen. Third time my family has been in one year for breakfast. First time was winter and our food was served very cold. Service and misc. was average. The place was average on cleanliness. Tried it again a few months later. Same exact thing happened. Husband said he was not ever going back. Took my teenage son, a couple of weeks ago. Ordered a simple breakfast and the over-easy eggs were inedible. The waitress even mention to us " to let her know if the eggs were overdone" when the plates were delivered, not when she saw we did not eat them. They were burnt brown. Let me start by saying steer clear of this awful place. I brought my son and sister here for a special treat as both had big things going on the next day and wish I had chosen somewhere else. For starters, we were seated very quickly by a sweet girl, who apparently gave us "the wrong menus" according to our very hostile waitress. When my sister, the vegetarian tried to order some fruity holiday pancakes, our waitress respond with "Nope. Those are done. Gone. Pick something else. Hurry up quick too." Umm excuse me? Rude. It's not our fault you gave us out of date menus. So she picks the harvest grain and nut and we move on. Son orders silver dollar pancakes, she asks sausage or bacon and he doesn't respond right away, he's 4(!), and she continues to ask over and over "sausage or bacon sausage or bacon?" Now you crossed a line, don't be rude to my son, guess you really aren't that fond of tips. Our drinks come out and someone had their finger in my water. Our food is served and let's just say calling it food was being generous. Waitress never checked on us again except to bring check. Never once saw a manager. All the tables around ours were dirty. Where do I even start? This place really defines the term "crappy service". We arrive at IHOP after a basketball game one night at the cedar park center. So it's like 10pm or so. We are seated promptly. That's where to good ends. The waitress (Josette if I remember right) was by far the WORST waitress I've ever had in my life. Starts off by belittling my daughter and her friends shirts because they have glitter on them. She asks what we want to drink and says rude little things In Between everyones order. Comes back with the drinks and just sets them in the middle of the table and walks away. Doesn't even try to remember who ordered what. We aren't ready to order yet when she returns and she says something rude like "hurry up" and then leaves. So when we do finally order she takes down our orders (reluctantly it seems). My daughters friend wants a pancake with a smiley face. Chocolate I think. But she wants 3 eyes on the package. Not 2. The waitress rolls her eyes and says she can't do fancy requests but will try. Then my daughter wants the same meal with the smiley face pancake but wants one eye. Not 3. The waitress flies off the handle and says "no way I'm gonna do that" " you're just making my job hard. Wtf??? Are you Serious??? So the food comes out and she literally tosses the food on to the table. Just wherever. Doesn't even try to give it to whoever ordered it. Then disappears forever. Oh wait. Is that her talking to a booth of teenage thugs who obviously aren't going to order anything? Oh now she's playing grab, slap and tickle with them. For nearly a half hour. Meanwhile we have nothing to drink and she forgot the bacon on one order. Now we are beyond pissed and just want to leave. She left the bill on our table pretty much right after we ordered. So thank god we flagged someone down to take our money so we could leave this hell hole. I feel sorry for her coworkers. They all looked like they were trying hard and some seemed to actually care. Why oh why couldn't we sit in their station? Never again ihop. You lost me as a customer for life. Mediocre food and shit service no matter what ihop you go to. Great service and great food. Wait times were not very long even on a crowded morning! The wait staff was very nice and the server even treated us like family! Our drinks were good and the bathrooms were accessible, but I had to go looking for it because there was no sign where I was sitting. The Orange Juice i had was wonderful even with pulp! I guess I learned a new way to clean a IHOP table: Spill your water! My grandmother spilled hers and the waitress was so nice! She cleaned it up and got my grandmother a new glass of water! My pancake was scrumptious even with bits of chocolate integrated into the pancake itself! Both my grandparents had nothing to complain about about their food and I don't either! The staff really deserve to have Ellen put them on their show. I give this place 5 stars but if I could I would give it 100 stars. read more

Came in on two Friday nights with my husband and son before 9PM (11/29 and 12/13) to find something to eat after a Stars Hockey game. We waited in the lobby area for over 10 minutes and could not get anyone to acknowledge our existence. We saw people serving food and miiling about the kitchen area, but none would even look toward the lobby. I can only assume that they weren't interested in any more business, so I will be happy to oblige. Came here at 1:00 in the morning and the host was super friendly. Took our order and was completely patient and chill. We got our food quickly and as always, happy with what we ordered. Definitely prefer the omelets here compared to those at the Kerbey Lane Cafe. I ordered the Country Omelet, my fave, and something similar at Kerbey Lane and there is a GIANT difference. If it wasn't for the fact that all 6 staff members we saw last night in your store completely ignored us waiting in the lobby for a table we would have never discovered the amazing food at the little spot across the parking lot called Blue Corn Harvest. Yum! It appeared to us the staff out-numbered the customers 2 to 1 yet we were never acknowledged and completely ignored. So we walked out and headed to Blue Corn Harvest. It may have cost us twice what we expected to spend on dinner last night, but it was worth every single penny! AND we now know we no longer have to rely on you, IHOP for weekend pancakes, as we discovered that little oasis across the parking lot serves brunch!
