    "Hoppy hour" menu

Server was friendly and efficient. Food was as you would probably expect - okay. Nothing wrong with it, just okay. Went early Sunday morning and pleased to be seated and served immediately. Prices seem a bit high, even the 55+ menu.

Blown away by how underwhelming this is.

I keep looking for a hidden camera because this has got to be a joke. The waitress was a sweetheart and the service speedy but look at the pics. There's a good reason for only giving one star.

When Denny's closed last year we anxiously awaited the opening of the promised IHOP at the space. it finally happened! I have eaten twice there, and while the portions have gotten a bit smaller, (as if I needed bigger portions!) the quality and consistency of the food remains excellent. Many of the employees from Dennys have remained on, giving the place a familiar and comfortable feeling when we visit. Additions of vegetarian options (especially Impossible™ Burgers and Sausage) have made the experience even more enjoyable to me. My most recent (second in a week) visit was especially satisfying... I was taking a friend with mobility issues, and Noah, one of the employees, saw me struggling to hold the door and rushed out to help. Eilia (spelling?) was attentive and prompt with meeting our needs and the food was in keeping with IHOP's more than 60 years of quality food.

The only morsel left before I typed this review! Avacado Eggs Benedict.

I was greeted by a very kind and cheerful hostess/server and our food came quickly. I order eggs Benedict every where I go because I always order breakfast items that I am unwilling to cook at home. Well, who would have guessed that a chain restaurant would have the hands down best Avacado Bene I've ever had! The Hollandaise sauce is smooth, flavorful, just right. The egg is expertly cooked to the exact perfect consistency for the dish, not under, not over. Lots of crunch bacon. I am so pleasantly surprised and impressed. Yum!!! My compliments to the chef!!

Food is very good. Service is excellent. I've eaten here and at Kristinas in Eureka, ands I easily rate IHOP over Kristina's.

The food was good and the service was kind. I would recommend a little bit more cleanliness, but I still enjoyed the ambience.

The restaurant is small and has a skeleton crew of staff, but they don't miss a beat and provide an excellent dining experience for all their guests. There's a nice list of California regional wines by the glass or bottle, and a local selection of beers and hard cider. It seemed that the biggest hit of the evening was the deserts. To a table on the night we dined, everyone was eating the desserts. My only regret from the evening is that we didn't eat the desserts because we had to go in a bit of a last minute dash. Oh well, all the more reason to come back.

Our server was very pleasant and let us know the special of the day, a halibut dish with a creamy pepper sauce. Debating between that and another dish, we asked her recommendation and she suggested the fish. So we did it. My wife and I traditionally split meals at restaurants, because they generally give you so much food, you leave uncomfortably stuffed. We prefer leaving comfortably satisfied. So we split the Arugula Salad. They bring complementary bread with a garlic butter or basalmic and olive oil. We preferred the basalmic. The garlic butter wasn't very garlicky. But the salad was excellent. They split it for us for a small upcharge. The Halibut was excellent. We had to split it ourselves, but that was not a problem for us. It was served over couscous and was excellent. A bit small to split, so we added a cheesecake dessert with ganache. Very good. We paired it all with a Cabernet from the Oakville area of Napa (where we had just visited) and it was excellent as well. Our server was attentive. The pacing of our meal was very well done. Not too long between check-ins, but also not rushed. We recommend!

The cheese was great, and I especially loved the sauce. The sauce just brought it all together. There was a little pile of jalapeño, onion, and carrot in the middle. I didn't touch the jalapeño. I tried the carrot and the onion, but they were too spicy for me. Not a big deal. It was a nice lite lunch, and with soda, tax and tip, the price was very reasonable. I definitely want to come back and try more items off of this menu. Thank you.

The vibe is exactly what you want from a coastal brewery--casual, beachy, relaxed, and just the right amount of bar energy. I ordered the French dip, which was delicious and piping hot, although it was a little saltier than I prefer. My husband ordered the shrimp tacos, and apparently they were so good that I am now concerned about the stability of my marriage. He literally declared that he was leaving me for the chef. I guess the tacos were that good. The shrimp tacos came with fresh, flavorful salsa that really stood out, and everything arrived hot and quickly. Our server absolutely was friendly, attentive, and FAST--which we very much appreciated. Getting the check however took FOREVER! I think our server went out to lunch. :/ And the beer selection on tap? Lots of choices, and everything was served perfectly. Just keep an eye on your spouse if they order the shrimp tacos. Apparently that's where things get dangerous.
