Came in today and was greeted and seated very promptly. Now places like this are a dime a dozen. I could of very well made my own pancakes, eggs, and bacon. I believe that places like this get judged solely on their ability to have quick service. Today they nailed it. Not only were they quick to seat me. But were also quick to get my food to me, even though the place was packed and not one table was free the entire time I was there. The server was also extremely nice, as well as the host. read more

I must say I do love IHOP. Their pancakes are always on point, clearly for a name of International House of Pankes. The staff is very friendly at this establishment. Very LGBTQ friendly, which is awesome. Very family and kid friendly, which can be a good thing (at times, when the children aren't kicking in the booths.) When it comes to IHOP, I have to admit, I'm so very basic. I love to the standard: over-easy eggs to mix in my hashbrowns, top with Tabasco, devour with a side of bacon... And to finish off the rumbling belly, their amazing double stack of fluffy pan fried cakes. I am a fan of the traditional and the red velvet. Mind you, if you like red velvet cake, you'll love a pancake rendition of it. Must have must try must demolilsh. Overall I give it a standard 3 for quility and good service when it's not packed. Rude front staff. We were standing by the podium to be sat for about 10 minutes. A cook saw us and waived. Had to send someone to get a waitress to say they cant seat us. If you did your job and didnt make us wait that long we couldve had our food. Completely inconsiderate. read more

I like IHOP. I love how their pancakes seem to come out perfect every time.. really.. they do! I've been coming to this IHOP for years and I can't believe that I haven't written a review for it.. Food-wise.. I'm always satisfied when I come here.. portions are just right.. food always tastes yummy.. and those pancakes are always perfect! Service-wise.. over the years it's been touch and go.. I remember once walking out after we ordered waters.. and no one came to help us for a full 20 minutes after that.. AND the restaurant was empty! Decided to give IHOP a shot, at this location. Just so you know, I've been to many IHOPs before (it's just been a while). There is plenty of parking at this specific one, and plenty seating indoor and outdoor (for those waiting) however as you imagine a Saturday morning was a bit crowded. Every seat was filled indoor, at the lobby and outside as well as crowds standing. The wait times were anywhere from15-20 minutes (doesn't sound too bad) but I believe based on the sign in sheet and how crowded this place was that the "wait times" being told were inaccurate.People were leaving just because the wait times. My wife and I were starving, so I opted for patio seating (tables were dusty). Service and the delivery of food to us were rather quick; I was impressed with that. I ordered the breakfast sampler, and all of it was tasty *but* the pancakes, I don't know if I've spoiled myself with quality and since I haven't eaten at an IHOP in such amount of time that the pancake taste was disappointing to me. It just was very doughy, not tasty. It felt like they put too little water in the batter? No idea. The rest was good though. My recommendation to the franchise owner is to invest in making the outdoor patio area as indoor. With it being known how cold or hot Fontana can get, there is no reason for outdoor patio seating and on top of that, how windy Fontana gets (as such the tables were dusty). read more

I've been here twice for the waffles and hash browns ! The wait can be long. Thalia served us both times and was the best. She remembered us from our last visit and was very attentive. Almost impossible to find parking spot near this IHOP, which is annoying. However if you want to look at it on the bright side, full parking lot means that people really like it. I ordered my phone online and picked it up at the store. It was quick and easy which was convenient because I was in a hurry. My boyfriend loved the New York cheesecake pancakes and my Nutella banana crepes were decent. read more

I loooooove that I can order OFF the menu. I got hooked on the blintzes they previously had on their menu and that I used to eat while in Orange County. They were the treat I needed. Horrible. Today I I took my three year old to breakfast. Everything was fine at first. I took my daughter to the restroom and left our jackets behind so it didn't look like we left and once we came back our food was piled up on each other our things were thrown to the side on the floor and our table was cleaned up. Why do I go to Denny's again???? Ok, maybe this is a good change from Denny's, but I really liked this IHOP. First of all, we had great service so such a major chain - quite impressive. I ordered some double blueberry pancakes with hashbrowns, eggs, and sausage. All too satisfaction. What I like is that the pancake quality is beyond my expectations. They come fluffy, hot, multiple selections, and there's a variety of syrups like blueberry, strawberry, boysenberry, and of course original. Had a taste of the wonderful crepes as well. Love panckakes anytime of the day so when i dont feel like cooking Ihop i head to. They have such a variety from breakfast, lunch & dinner. The food is cooked to order so its fresh. Extremely unorganized, less than mediocre customer service. You can pretty much guarantee it's going to be busy and even when it's not the service is still lacking. The food is usually pretty good, but I DO NOT recommend ordering take out. I did and my food was absolutely terrible. My french toast was almost raw, the potatoes were undercooked and greasy, plus I was missing my $6 fruit bowl. Yes, $6 for a fruit bowl. Plus, the soup was old. At least the eggs were edible! Since my breakfast was such a disaster the manager offered to replace it, but I have to go when that manager is there bc he didn't communicate the situation to the other managers. For a mistake like that, I should be able to go and get it replaced in my own time. It shouldn't be a hassle for me. read more

Horrible service I always try to place my order over the phone so that when I get to the restaurant is reafy, but it's always a trial the girls always put me on hold and at least I have to call back 3 times, like today was a record left me on hold four times the last one was the manager on duty this morning, horrible and then u get attitudes need to improve on customer service IHOP! Today I had a very terrible experience at this restaurant. So today I ordered a strawberry CREPE not a PANCAKE and as I was eating my crepe I noticed it getting more and more gewy and stared to taste like egg so I opened up the crepe and it was RAW and a crepe is supposed to be nice and thin with the strawberries in side and all the ingredients INSIDE but instead it was all on the OUTSIDE So over all I really never had a good experience at IHOP that is why I might never ever come here again. read more

We never go to IHOP, but received gift cards from someone over the holidays. Definitely *not* a high reliability organization. I tried to place my order online via the website and continually got an error "invalid basket". I called to place my order and I asked the gal if they would honor the promo code online for $5 off. She said she would check with the manager, but that if the code didn't work there wasn't much they could do. I let her know the code worked fine (it was posted at the top of *their* website), it was the order processing that was a problem. Nonetheless, I placed my order and went to pick it up. I asked her again about the promo code and she checked with a manager who promptly said no. HRO companies apologize for the site not working properly, and say of course let me help you out with that. I checked my order and an item was missing, but it was quickly provided. However, I got home and realized another item was missing. I called the location to see what could be done, and I was told a manager would call me back. Surprise, surprise NO CALL. Our food was fine - it was IHOP, but the lack of customer service left an awful taste in my mouth. Now I know why we never go there. Overpriced pancakes and bad customer relations. read more

Rude servers. Completely ignored me and my sister. When I asked for straws the girl didn't respond, turned and got us straws that were bent. We were not greeted by the host. My kids wanted pancakes so I took them here unfortunately. The place is filthy and looks old and just feels so dirty. I sat in a booth and the grown adult behind me kept pushing his back into the seat and I felt it on my end. It was super annoying and they were loud and felt too close. I also didn't like that because I look white (I'm actually half Hispanic) that I didn't get as much attention or as good service than the Hispanics behind me. I could understand the waitress as she offered more choices of coffee than she even offered me. (In Spanish)She was short and gave me my bill right after she dropped the food off. I can appreciate the fast service but it also comes off rude but I'm glad it was fast because I wanted to get out of there. I didn't even order food because I didn't have an appetite after being there. There was even a fly in there which just grossed me out. I also wonder what this place is graded because I didn't see it posted anywhere. Next time I'm sticking to black bear diner or corkys or my kids are getting out of the box pancakes at home.
