This Ihop is always freezing cold, the food is ok but the dishes are always dirty. I live in Gainesville, but I have to leave town to find a decent Ihop.

If I could give negative stars I would. This was the worst ihop I've ever been to honestly, primarily due to food quality and price. We didn't even finish our food it was just.....not like ihop used to be. Food was barely warm when it got served so a few bites in we didn't even want to finish. Bill was around $85 for one adult and four kids who couldn't even finish their food.

Horrible experience! We were seated in Angela's section. She was very rude and dismissive. When we arrived to the restaurant it was pretty empty. But she took our order and disappeared for a long time. We observed our food sitting in the window for some time. When she finally reappeared and brought our door out EVERYTHING was cold as well as over cooked. I waited to let our server Angela know but she did not return. As I looked over to the kitchen I saw a gentleman helping with orders and assumed he was a manager, but he let me know there was no manager on duty. I then asked who I could speak to about getting our food reordered. While I was talking to another gentleman, Angela walked up asking what I needed. I let her know our food was cold and we could not find her. She instantly got nasty. Saying we weren't looking for her then started speaking Spanish to an older lady who helped us. Saying we didn't look for her but the lady let her know she actually looked for her. The gentleman told us not to worry and resubmitted our entire parties order. I returned to my table. As we waited u saw our order in the window and because u Yelp I began to snap a picture as I snapped my picture I saw Angela or server look at the window and continue walking we waited a few more minutes. We then left. What a total disaster and how do you find it ok to treat patrons like crap then argue with them. The restaurant seemed clean but the service was trash! Bathrooms were also clean.

Clean store. The burgers and chicken tenders were great. The service was meh. Very slow and they forgot our drinks. But the place was fairly busy because it was midnight after a concert and was one of the only places open.

Better than the average IHOP for service, although I will say the service varies more than it should. If you can, request to sit in the back left area of the restaurant, especially on a weekday. This is where they usually put larger groups and parties, so it's a bit noisier but the service is faster and friendlier. We were seated back there for my sons birthday recently and the waitress went out of her way to make sure to keep his all-you-can-eat pancakes coming. The entire waitstaff also came out to sing a special birthday song and present him with an ice cream sundae (which he also polished off). It really made for a special special start to his day. We returned a few days later, were seated in the front area and received indifferent service, wrong order, food served barely warm (sent back and they made it over) having to ask for everything (including water and pancake refills). The quality of the food is still solid, and the price is right, but I do wish they could provide consistently good service. Yet another visit (on the free short stacks of pancakes day) and we were again at the back and received excellent service. Lesson learned! We will ask to be seated in the rear area whenever possible. Overall, this is still one of the better IHOP locations I've been to. If you're looking to feed your family a good hearty breakfast you can't go wrong with IHOP and their bottomless pancakes.

Price vs experience…read more For a 2 egg omelette, I spent almost $20, which did come with a generous fruit serving. Flavors were good but with a walk up dining experience price feels high, almost double from photos here on yelp. The experience, it was 58° outside but they had their ac on full blast, so cold I had to grab a jacket. The espresso machine was broken, so no coffee for me, would have gotten a tea, but didn't feel like paying the $6.29 for just tea from their disorganized kitchen. Broken furniture and the floors were dirty. Sorry guys, missed it for me.

The drink is really good cold, but once it became room temp, the honey overpowers the drink, so def have it cold. The breakfast burrito is really tasty but I think it would be a thousand times better with potatoes instead of beans. The beans don't really go with the sausage, egg, and cheese. Or at least give the option to substitute it with potatoes. My wife got the Gable (turkey bacon, egg whites, brie, plum chutney, spinach on focaccia panini) and it was really good. I took a bite of it and enjoyed it more than my burrito. The home fries were also solid. The people working were pretty nice and the inside is decorated well. They had fresh flowers on the tables which is something I appreciated. Really ties in the room.

Omg so many thoughts on this experience…read more I'm so glad i didn't immediately know it was a restaurant located in a hotel. This prob would have deterred me, even a little bit. The Apple map directions here confused me a little due to this, but parking was really plentiful so that's a huge plus! I went on a Sunday morning and lo and behold there was a hole farmers market or pop up set up all through haymarket! Busy weekend for a brunch but haymarket is SUCH a cute little vibe and town with so many hidden gems, like this one!! Literally every single item I saw waiters bring out from the kitchen looked so scrumptious, every person around us immediately began digging in and enjoying their meals...and honestly, no crumbs were left behind pretty much every time. We started ordering a yummy cocktail. I was really in the mood for the Paloma with grapefruit juice but sadly they were out of grapefruit juice fortunately, they had plenty cocktails available that were not explicitly on the menu! I ended up having a delicious espresso martini, prepared, right and honestly, I would have had another!! Not too sweet. Not creamy. And with 3 beans. Impeccable no notes. I ordered the red House breakfast. Man those home potatoes were so delicious....they clearly cooked them seasoned deliciously and then flash fried, so crunchy!!!! Amazing. I found that their execution on their meals was really impressive. My sunny side up eggs were cooked perfectly and paired so yummy with the toast. The bacon had delicious flavor too. I ordered a biscuit because I had heard that their biscuits were really yummy but unfortunately they did not have their bacon biscuit so it was just a classic biscuit. It was good, certainly dense and clearly homemade. My girlfriend got the poutine. Looked so delicious and was really enjoyed! The gravy was thick and flavorful! We sat down and enjoyed plenty of conversation and a really nice environment. Nobody rushed us, service was just the right amount of attentive without interrupting conversation constantly, and the floor to ceiling windows let in beautiful natural light and views of the town. It was the perfect brunch spot for a low-key, but delicious meal. Just a hair out of the way without being too far. I came out with a really good friend of mine to celebrate my one year wedding anniversary with her and it was the perfect possible location. Shout out to the staff for being so welcoming and kind, and even taking a picture of us when we asked to commemorate the occasion. I'm sure they are used to people walking in to the hotel lobby looking as confused as I was looking for red House Tavern.

The food was average at best when it came out. Super disappointed. We came here for my mom's 5 year beating cancer anniversary and it wasn't much of a celebration.

Baristas acknowledged our presence and continued making coffees for others, even though there were multiple baristas. I've been to several cafes that were much more overcrowded and have never waited so long just to be acknowledged, so this could've possibly been an understaffing problem or a task delegation problem, but regardless, it felt very uncomfortable to be waiting in line with several others just watching the baristas take care of other customers. Might have better luck ordering online for pickup even when sitting inside. Coffee was good, and their selection of drinks (alcoholic drinks , coffees, teas) is broad. Cheese danish was crispy, although cold despite my request for it to be heated up, and something about the cheese filling felt off. Likely wouldn't order again, but I'd definitely like to try some of their other pastries.
