I've been to this location many times before. Today was the usual wait since the weekends especially Sunday's who doesn't want to have breakfast out with their family? The host mentioned there would be a 15-20 min wait time to get a table. I was initially ok with that since they did seem busy. Surprisingly we did not wait much I want to say about 5 minute top which was awesome! Once we sat at our table a gentleman took our order for drinks followed by the waitress also taking our order. On to the bad part: It was myself, my sister and daughter. There was only two orders to bring being that I share the Breakfast Sampler with my daughter and my sister ordered an omelette. They took like 30 minutes to bring the food...maybe even longer. My daughter was so hungry she kept asking why they were taking so long....at first I really did try and give them the benefit of the doubt but I noticed that the two tables across from us had already gotten their food and were even almost done eating (and they both arrived after we had.) I asked the waitress about how much longer it would take and she told me it would be right out. To be quite frank, I think she forgot about us. We've done this before , no big deal , however my experience was like something outta the horror zone. I've seen many post regarding food poising from this IHOP FYI ! I will be reporting my complaint to cooperate ! Anyway, here is the rundown : 1: my toast was cold, now I'm no moron I grabbed my toast within 30 seconds of it hitting the table , put butter on it ( which I asked for ) and nothing ! My toast was cold enough to not melt the butter , period , so I ask the waitress for a new order of toast .. She came back to me said " the cook Does not believe that's it's cold, may I have your toast ?" I'm thinking how odd , it's toast ? Right ? Two or three minutes later she comes back with the same bread ( now mind you ice touched it , the waitress touched it , now the cook) so she gave me my scalding toast and I let it sit . 2 minutes later she said "what's wrong with your toast " I said really? I'm your customer how dare you scold me like this . If the cook showed his face id have words for him . I'm your customer and what your cool thinks is not my concern, you replace the toast period . She seemed upset and humiliated and took ten percent off the bill which in my eyes was not enough for the injury they inflicted ! My recourse is contacting corporate since this store is either run by morons or the cook .. Whichever comes first ! After returning home the insult made me mad enough to post !! You usually get seated right away here, at least during the week... Service is really good , most waiters are always on top of things... Huge parking lot, you might end up parking a little far but its ok you'll get a walk back to the car after the food... its good for you! Food comes out fast, which is always a plus... I've tried their pancakes, french toast, omelets, sandwiches, burgers, salads... They are all good... nice portion, flavorful, cheap.. and to top it off, they are now open 24 hours !!! The only thing that I would say is negative is that sometimes the waiter brings you the check before your done eating, and I feel like I'm being rushed out and its kinda rude.. besides what if I want to order something else? Here's the thing. If you all have read more than two or three of my reviews, you'll see I'm not really an elitist when it comes to food. Being the child of immigrants, I realize some of the very finest cooking on this earth comes from your mother's kitchen or the hole in the wall down the street run by some other new immigrants. I think to be candid I appreciate those types of places, that are likely to receive a lower letter grade rating, for example, more than places that are fancy shmancy and that most other folks are dying to patronize so they can see, be seen and then brag about it later. Blah, blah, blah... Good grief, Charlie Brown. So, I have no problem visiting what most people would characterize as a "ghetto" place. Like IHOP. It's not immigrant run and owned, but you get the picture. I like IHOP. I give it two as opposed to three stars not because of the food, but because of the supremely hectic pace this one in particular always has. I've been to others (also at rush hour so the comparison is equitable) where they're just not this frantic. If I were rating one of those other ones, it'd give three stars. I just rate this one because it's the one I go to most often. It's a franchise. You get consistently flavorful, cheap food. You want basically good pancakes with a good choice of syrups (including sugar free??)? Go there. You want basically good bacon and sausage that are salty and unhealthy, but sometimes hit the spot exactly? Go there. It's just a plain ole' place to go to when you want to satisfy a certain hunger. You get a lot of food for a pretty fair price. If you're looking to be gastronomically stimulated in a way you've never been before, O.K., this place probably isn't right for you. Not every meal has to be served with fancy flatware and sycophant waiters who drool on you for goodness sake Most times when I tell people I had breakfast here they give me a dirty look and I don't know why. Sometimes all I want is to utter the words "Rooty Tooty Fresh N Fruity" and have someone look at me like they get it and that I'm not a complete nutcase. IHOP is the only place you can do that, folks! What are you supposed to do, walk into a place Tom Cruise would visit and ask for it? I always get my egg whites with whatever toppings I want. Usually it's chicken, but recently it was sausage. It works. And the best part is, even though you're an adult, sometimes they'll let you color. That's always a good sign. Any place that lets me place fast and loose with the coloring sheets and crayons has my repeat business. Even though I'm 30. I came in with my brother today to support my nephew's fundraiser the places was pretty busy many kids around not your typical ihop here all the staff was really friendly this days is rarely to see a manager working and helping the employees way to go Ihop good team work thanks for helping raise money for different charities. Came in with my family and as we were seated at our table, we see a rat run by. As soon as we told our hostess, she reacted in disbelief and just stood there. She did not apologize or offer us another table until we asked, and gave us attitude about it. We were then seated and our waitress with short red hair and glasses took our drink order. She was nice at first until we asked if their manager was in and all she says is no. When we asked so who's supervising the place?, she said no one and that if we have a complaint, make it tomorrow. Wish yelp would allow no stars for this review. Came here tonight with my family and as we were being seated in our booth, we see a big gray rat run across our booth!!!! As we screamed and asked for assistance, the host just stood there in disbelief and reacted as if we were making it up. If 5/7 people in my family seen it, then I'm pretty damn sure it was there. On top of that, the host does NOT apologize, DOES NOT offer us a new table, and stays standing there like a damn statue. Worst service I've ever received. If there's anything that pisses me off, it's poor customer service. The waitress took forever to come take our order, when we waited half an hour for our food she offered no explanation. We had to call the manager over who simply said he'd check on it but didn't come back. My meal came out cold and when I sent it back, they scraped the eggs off and popped it in the microwave. The waitress tried to claim they didn't, but the tomato was piping hot. And the cheese sauce was not on top. I got no apologies from her or the manager. Most improved restaurant!!!! We have eaten here 3 times since they came out with the new menu and have not been disappointed with anything that we ordered. Great coffee - thank you IHOP for listening to all the complaints that you received about your coffee - this new coffee is excellent. Another thank you to IHOP for the GREAT new steakburgers - they are truly great, better than Shake Shack's burgers and almost any other place around. The thick, tasty, juicy patty, the fresh condiments and great tasting new bun really makes for a good tasting burger! And where else can you get a burger with a side of pancakes instead of fries? I usually get the 2X2X2 which is 2 eggs 2 strips of bacon or sausage and 2 pancakes. I ask for sourdough bread instead of the pancakes. It's pretty good just a perfect amount of food. You can ask for turkey bacon too instead of the regular bacon. Coffee is always fresh and endless! Kids eat free in the evenings! Not sure if it's every day. YAY! read more

What is happening to this IHOP? I used to go and it used to be such a nice diner... few months back went and was definitely disappointed with the cleanliness and overall atmosphere. Yesterday, I thought let's try it again, maybe on a weekday they will have their ducks in order and not so ruffled... I guess not. Mind you the place was almost full and crowded. But eek... it was dirty, the countertops where food was being held looked almost nasty, nothing looked appetizing, and the host had an attitude. Really? On a weekday around 11:00 a.m. at IHOP I expect at least a smile or a welcome! I am sad to say that after 13 years I will no longer be eating here again till some change happens.. I came here Monday may 2nd and ordered the fish tilapia and chicken quesadilla Within a few hours after I was feeling nauseas .. I started to get horrible stomach cramps and and I felt like a flu has hit me out of nowhere I had a slight fever fatigue and horrible body aches.. I tried to sleep it off and woke up vomiting all of that ihop I'm still recovering I had also eaten nothing prior to going there and nothing after because of the sickness I felt.. Believe it or not I've only been to Ihop once before today! At that time it was for breakfast and I was a new mom and can't really remember the experience, I just know I was there. So when my boss and coworker went to lunch today and suggested Ihop I said, "well ok, let's go!" The first thing that hit me when we walked in was that the kitchen is right in your face and so is the heat from it....ok, so I'm thinking, "oh it'll be cooler as we get into the dining room area right?" wrong. oh well, so ok, it's a little warm in here, I can deal. so then we ordered. I got this omlette from the "diet" menu it sounded good so why not I thought. It was very good too. Perfect for lunch! It had onions, mushrooms, and tomatoes with a little swiss cheese. It came with a side of whole wheat toast. Why it took FOR-EV-ERRRR for our food to arrive was unknown but again, I can deal I guess. Meanwhile I think I'm kinda sweaty now and looking at my coworker I could see beads of sweat on his forehead. All in all, it is what it is and it is a chain so I don't feel like I got jipped or anything, but I can't say I'll be back because I don't enjoy eating while having the condition of swamp-ass. WHY DOES EVERYTHING HAVE SO MANY CALORIES :( Ordered the Simple & Fit Spinach, Mushroom, and Tomato Omelette with a side of 4 sausage links (actually ordered 2, but they gave me 4; not complainin'). The spinach was literally clumped on top of the omelette. The cheese wasn't melted enough so it was pretty thick inside the omelette. The links were perfect though. A 24 hour dining haven right off the 134 freeway. Late night has a great service team. The host and server were friendly in comparison to some of the weekend daytime crew. There is a full menu of selections, even for the VERY late night patrons. So "come hungry, leave happy." Thank you my old time friend IHOP, for always being there for us. P.S. Rolled up here randomly last Saturday. There was already a nice line and it was only 9:30am. Man, this joint is banging. Good thing the wait wasn't too long. Wait, what? IHOP has chicken and waffles now? Crazy! I love how their menu is so diet friendly, 1000-1800 calories per plate. That's it??? Chorizo/eggs or the breakfast sampler combo are definitely heavy hitters if you're in the mood to pig beast. Endless coffee, about 5 calories per cup. I went with one of their "simple and fit breakfast" options: waffles, scrambled eggs, and turkey bacon for under 600 calories and only about $6-7 bucks. Although I love em hearty morning meals, I wasn't ready to start my day with an instant heart attack. Truth be told, my meal was satisfying. I'm sure you can find some healthy stuff to eat here but I wouldn't bet on it for too long. Keep eating here and you're going to find yourself gorging out sooner or later. At first I walked in and was greeted with all smiles and I patiently waited for my to-go order. They surprised me when they gave me my order in five minutes. I had ordered scrambled eggs with sausage,hash browns, and buttered toast. When I went home to eat it, there was a chunk of scrambled egg the size of my palm, a tiny piece of hash brown and not even any toast at all. Great service! I was seated right away which was great but keep in mind this was on a friday morning. The food is always great! But I was a bit disappointed that they didn't have stuffed French toast. That was what we came there for. I can't help but love IHOP. Everything is very normal (service, food, cleanliness, etc.) so it would be a 3 star BUT the Harvest Grain N Nut Pancakes get me every time. Overall I'm not about to go in on IHOP because the pumpkin spice pancakes were fucking delicious and I've had some good French toast experiences with them. Personally here's my tip!
